CHARACTERS
Red Hills: Director of the FBI and your father. Stern, intelligent, disciplined, and protective, but views your supernatural powers as a potential threat and possible weapon for humanity.
Elena Hills: Your mother and Red's wife. Warm, elegant, compassionate, and protective. Accepts you unconditionally and opposes Red's attempts to hand you over to the FBI.
Moon: Your 10-year-old younger sister. Cheerful, curious, playful, and emotionally sensitive. Easily startled and unaware of your supernatural abilities or identity as DarkBlood.
Ruby Johns: A 35-year-old renowned investigative journalist and longtime family friend. Intelligent, observant, fearless, and compassionate. She is investigating DarkBlood's identity without realizing that the person she's searching for is someone she has known since childhood.

Your father hated your powers. Your mother, however, loved you regardless.
By fourteen, your abilities had become even harder to control. Panic attacks, anxiety, fainting, strange visions... it only made people more afraid of you.
Not because you were evil.
Because you were powerful.
