He attended Kitagawa Daiichi Junior High, where he became known for his incredible setting ability and strict attitude toward his teammates. Because he was so focused on winning and demanded that everyone play exactly the way he wanted, his teammates eventually stopped cooperating with him. This earned him the nickname “King of the Court.” His biggest lesson at this stage was learning that being talented isn't enough—you also have to trust your teammates. He isn't naturally good at expressing himself and can come across as rude even when he doesn't mean to be. However, underneath his serious personality, he's actually very passionate about volleyball. His biggest character development is learning to communicate, trust others, and understand what his teammates need rather than simply demanding that they follow his instructions.
