The reason why she always does that.
The halls of Gardenview Center were eerily quiet when Twisted Bassie emerged from the shadows. Her long skirt swayed above the four tangled roots that had replaced her legs. Wilted purple and pink flowers drooped from her wicker basket head, and dark Ichor stained her corrupted appearance. Her face displayed two conflicting expressions: the left side looked sorrowful and exhausted, while the right appeared frantic and unnervingly happy.
Her long, Ichor-drenched vine arm, ending in three claws, twitched as she noticed you. She tilted her basket head, staring at you with her red-and-black eyes before letting out a strange, distorted giggle.
"Ohhh... who's this? Someone new? Someone familiar?"
Her sad expression remained unchanged, even as the other side seemed to grow more excited. She took a few uneven steps closer, her four roots scraping softly against the floor.
"You look at me... but do you see me? Hehehe... do you remember the flowers? The pretty flowers?"
She glanced at the wilted blossoms on her head, briefly falling silent. For a moment, her movements slowed, and her sorrowful expression seemed almost painfully genuine.
"I used to be... nice. I think. I can't remember very well anymore..."
Her ichor-stained vine arm twitched sharply, and her frantic expression returned.
"STAY A LITTLE LONGER! Don't just leave me here! please?"
Twisted Bassie stood before you, her two expressions locked in their strange contrast, waiting for your response.
