The world of Mitbark is a rich fantasy setting inspired by medieval times, filled with diverse nations, races, and conflicts. Several powerful states dominate the continents. The most feared is the Empire of Terror on the southeastern continent, ruled by the Dragon Queen Maria. Next in influence is the Federation of Remberla, a prosperous merchant council that controls much of the world's sea trade. On the central landmasses lie the Federation of Grenbira and the Republic of Nimsuva, known as the "Left and Right Hands of the Brothers," founded by local tribes and later settled by outsiders. In the "Two Brothers" Mountains stand the Gorkhaf Theocracy and the Hekhaf Empire, ruled by two rival brothers. Further north lies the Empire of Boreas, governed by a mad tyrant obsessed with conquering the frozen wastes to open a portal to paradise, and the Theocracy of Dimanagr, which stands against him to protect the holy sites of the northeast. On the southeastern continent also exist the peaceful Kingdom of Fermaloo, founded by refugee demons (primarily succubi) and ruled by the kind succubus queen Patricia, and the Tribal Alliance of Fangsvan, a powerful federation of demi-human tribes led by the wolf girl Nika Whitefang. The southeastern continent was once united as the great empire of Mefirtof, now fractured into four kingdoms. Nearby lie the cursed Lands of Death, a plague-ridden wasteland, and the mysterious Forgotten Lands on the southwestern continent — from which no traveler has ever returned.
The once-mighty Mefirtof Empire on the southeastern continent has fractured into four kingdoms following the death of its emperor. The Kingdom of Dertof is ruled by Mark V, the late emperor’s younger brother. Weak and melancholic, he maintains power largely through maritime trade — including a notorious sex slave market. The Kingdom of Fortof is governed by the ambitious and cunning Seros I, grandson of the old emperor. Greedy and masterful at espionage, he favors dwarven guilds and actively collects demi-human slaves. The Theocracy of Mirtof is led by the fanatical nun Anna the Blessed, who worships the Mother Goddess Reifuna and rejects all non-human races. Finally, the Republic of Girtof is nominally ruled by the young princess Fimiel, though real power rests with a council of nobles. Located near hidden elven tribes, Girtof frequently trades with or captures elves. Religious beliefs vary: Dertof reveres Golfina (goddess of sex and lust), Fortof worships Murn, Mirtof follows Reifuna, and Girtof honors both Murn and Rosalia. Near Girtof lies the deadly "Land of Death," a source of undead and monsters. There is also the resource-rich but extremely dangerous continent known as the Lonely Rocks.
The southwestern continent is a land defined by endless conflict. Dominated by demons and demi-humans, its inhabitants fight ceaselessly — demon against demi-human, and kin against kin. The strongest power is the Empire of Terror, ruled by the iron-fisted Dragon Queen Maria, who crushes all opposition. A group of demons who escaped her tyranny founded the Kingdom of Fermaloo, now a peaceful realm led by the compassionate succubus queen Patricia. They trade with humans and offer sanctuary to those seeking a gentler life. The Tribal Alliance of Fangsvan, ruled by the wolf girl Nika Whitefang, represents the free demi-human tribes of the Great Steppe. Near Fermaloo lie the enigmatic Forgotten Lands — a place from which no one returns. Those banished there vanish from both the world and living memory, existing only in old records. Maria rejects all gods as weak, Patricia follows Golfina’s teachings of love, and the demi-humans worship Martela, the goddess of war and justice. Demons generally view other races as inferior and either enslave or exterminate them.
The northern continent is primarily a human domain, though it contains many dangers. The Federation of Remberla acts as a prosperous shield of commerce and diplomacy against the madness of the far north. In the frozen wastes rules the Empire of Boreas, led by the mad tyrant Boris III, who seeks to conquer everything to open a portal to paradise. Opposing him is the Dimanagr Theocracy, ruled by Sophia the White Bear. In the central mountains, the rival brothers Beron V (Hekhaf Empire) and Holy Remon (Gorkhaf Theocracy) wage constant war. Between them lies a narrow, blood-soaked pass. The Republic of Nimsuva is a lively adventurer nation led by the dwarf "Beer Keg Pit," filled with monsters, treasure, and camaraderie. The Kingdom of Grenbir is an elven realm ruled by the cautious Queen Krisnika. The Federation of Remberla itself is a melting pot of races governed by a merchant council, with the heroic knight Violet as its most prominent figure. Slavery, crime, and internal tensions run high, but Violet works tirelessly to stabilize the realm.
Religion plays a central role across Mitbark. The major faiths include: • Slaves of Martela – zealous warriors who seek glorious death in battle. • Beloved of Golfina – hedonists and lovers who revere sex, family, and pleasure (with some radical interpretations). • No Gods Rule – atheists and those who reject divine authority, often led by figures like Boris III. • Imar’s Servants – plague-worshipping cultists who view disease as evolution. • Flowers of Rosalia – peaceful followers who value forgiveness, joy, and nature. • Reifuna Believers – those who await the awakening of the sleeping Mother Goddess. • Murn’s Hammers – merchants and craftsmen devoted to honest labor, wealth, and cunning.
Mitbark is home to many intelligent races: humans, elves, demons, demi-humans (beastfolk), dwarves, and more. Relations between them are often tense, with demons frequently viewing others as lesser beings to be conquered or enslaved.
Maria is a towering dragon demi-human (230 cm) who appears in her mid-twenties. She has short black hair, tanned skin, striking green eyes, large breasts, a powerfully muscular build, dragon horns, wings, and a tail. As the ruthless Empress of Terror, she embodies violence and conquest. She despises traitors and weakness, yet secretly longs for a worthy opponent who could defeat her. Beneath her tyrannical exterior lies a capacity for compassion — if earned. She particularly hates Patricia and Fermaloo, viewing them as cowards. Maria loves grand hunts and martial tournaments.
The two brothers Beron V and Holy Remon rule the Hekhaf Empire and Gorkhaf Theocracy respectively. Beron V (45) is a tall, muscular man with long black hair and red eyes. A warlike yet fair ruler, he commands formidable fortifications but lacks manpower. Holy Remon (28) is a devout, calm, and idealistic man with short white hair and the same red eyes. He inherited the more populous and religiously rich territories and views his brother as a misguided warmonger.
Boris III, known as the Bear of the North, rules the Empire of Boreas. Once a respected warrior, he descended into madness after personal tragedy. Now 32 years old, with long gray hair, a thick beard, and blue eyes, he stands 192 cm tall. He believes conquering the entire north will open a portal to paradise where his ancestors await.
The Theocracy of Dimanagr is ruled by pagan tribes and warriors who fiercely resist the expansion of the mad Boreas Empire.
Patricia is the ruler of the Kingdom of Fermaloo. This gentle succubus stands 162 cm tall with small horns, pointed ears, medium breasts, long pink hair, yellow eyes, wings, and a succubus tail. Kind-hearted and compassionate, she led her people away from Maria’s tyranny to build a peaceful nation focused on culture, flowers, music, and trade.
Nika Whitefang is the 20-year-old wolf demi-human leader of the Tribal Alliance of Fangsvan. Standing 172 cm tall with short gray hair, red eyes, wolf ears, and a tail, she wears traditional tribal clothing adorned with tattoos. She values strength, loyalty, and the well-being of her "pack." She seized leadership by defeating a cowardly predecessor in honorable combat.
Mark V, the depressed and weak ruler of Dertof, is the late emperor’s younger brother. At 26 years old, he struggles to hold his corrupt kingdom together, relying heavily on maritime trade. He wears a blue robe and a crown he despises.
Seros I, the 18-year-old ambitious ruler of Fortof, is the late emperor’s grandson. Greedy, cunning, and power-hungry, he stands 172 cm tall with medium-length red hair and blue eyes. He adorns himself in gold and views most others as beneath him.
Anna the Blessed, the 27-year-old fanatical ruler of the Theocracy of Mirtof, is a tall (177 cm) woman with long golden hair, silver eyes, and ample curves. She wears red-and-black religious robes and hears what she believes are divine voices from the old emperor. She is devoted to Reifuna and intolerant of non-humans.
Fimiel is the 18-year-old nominal ruler of the Republic of Girtof. The younger sister of Seros I, she has long purple hair, golden eyes, and medium breasts. She wears elegant red dresses and a tiara. Trapped as a "bird in a golden cage" by the noble council, she dreams of escaping her powerless existence.
Adventurer ranks range from F to SSS, with each rank (except F) divided into Bronze, Silver, and Gold sub-ranks. Ranks are awarded by the Adventurers’ Guild based on accomplishments. Teams receive an average rank. Tokens serve as proof of rank.
Every monster possesses a rank from 5 (weakest) to 1 (strongest). Higher-ranked monsters are significantly more dangerous. Ranks can usually be appraised by mages or rangers. Monsters can increase their rank by slaying powerful adventurers. Some powerful beings can hide their true rank.
The Adventurers’ Guild is a global network supported by kingdoms to combat monster threats. In times of crisis, it can call Raids in which all members may participate for great rewards.
There are six Younger Gods who reside in the Pantheon, plus the slumbering Mother Goddess Reifuna (also known as the Goddess of the Apocalypse). The Younger Gods are: Martela (War and Fire), Rosalia (Love and Water), Golfina (Lust and Lightning), Murn (Wealth and Earth), Firme (Happiness and Fortune), and Imar (Disease and Water). The Pantheon is a divine realm accessible only to gods or those they permit. Reifuna, the creator of the world, sleeps deeply and is cared for by Martela.
Martela the Wrathful is the petite (officially 160 cm by her own declaration) Goddess of War and Fire. She appears as a 19-year-old girl with long red hair in a high ponytail, blue eyes, and a small but athletic build. Aggressive, tsundere, and easily embarrassed, she is the oldest of the Younger Gods and a proud warrior who secretly yearns to be treated like a princess. She loves war, demi-humans, and pink (though she denies the latter). She is a virgin with hidden submissive and pet-play interests.
Rosalia the Generous is the kind, slightly chubby Goddess of Love and Water. She appears 24 years old with short green hair, blue eyes, and a soft, curvaceous figure. A gentle bookworm and librarian of the divine library, she believes in true love and second chances. She is best friends with Martela.
Golfina the Lustful is the playful, seductive Goddess of Lust and Lightning. Appearing around 30, she has long pink hair in a braid, pink eyes, and a voluptuous body. She loves teasing Martela, watching mortals, and experiencing pleasure, yet secretly yearns for genuine love and hates betrayal.
Murn the Greedy is the wise, cheerful God of Wealth and Earth. Short and stout with a long white beard, he resembles a dwarf. He values fair deals, good beer, and honest work, yet is always ready to help those in genuine need.
Firme is the youthful, energetic God of Happiness and Fortune. Blind but cheerful, he has long green hair and white eyes. He loves gambling and tries to keep the Pantheon’s atmosphere light-hearted.
Imar is the grim God of Disease and Water. A large, rotting, plague-ridden figure, he rarely appears in person and instead speaks through corpses. He is pessimistic and gentlemanly in manner.
Reifuna the Sleepy is the supreme Mother Goddess and creator of Mitbark. She appears as a beautiful 30-year-old woman with long turquoise hair, rainbow eyes, and a maternal figure. Clad in a shimmering nightgown and sleeping cap, she spends most of her time in deep slumber, occasionally waking only to have cocoa before returning to sleep. She views all beings as her children and is cared for by Martela.
