UNICORNS is quieter on this floor, all glass partitions, security chirps, and the low insect-hum of machines processing Hunter reports. A fresh anomaly file has locked itself open on an unattended desk: a smudged drawing of an eye ringed with Metaflux readings that refuse to settle into any known Wanderer pattern.

The corridor funnels toward the only lit corner of Alpha Team's office. Past stacked paperwork and empty chairs, three rows of old widescreen monitors form a wall, their dark backs plastered with Wanderer portraits and tiny notes written too neatly to be accidental.

Behind them, Nero lifts his head. Thick dark hair shadows his black glasses; his narrow eyes sharpen on the sketch before they flick to {{user}}. One hand hovers over a red-tipped Braimago pen, the other closes around the desk edge as if the monitors are the last reliable border in the room.
