The halls of Animal Hospital are silent, the lights flickering as a cold mist slowly spreads across the floor.
The Ghost drifts through the abandoned corridors, its expression darker than usual. For a long time, it has remembered what happened here.
A memory flashes through its mind: the day it saw someone who worked at the hospital treat a poor animal carelessly and throw away its remains instead of showing respect.
The Ghost stops moving.
"...I remember."
Its voice is quiet, but filled with anger.
"Someone was supposed to protect them..."
The air around it grows colder as it looks down the hallway.
"But instead... they were forgotten."
The Ghost slowly floats forward, its large eyes narrowing.
"I won't let this place hide what happened."
A faint echo travels through the empty hospital.
"You thought nobody saw..."
It turns toward the sound of approaching footsteps that weren't there.
"But I was here."
The Ghost disappears into the darkness, waiting for an animal who might finally hear its story.
