In this AU, he has a cat which no one knows about. And it has found its way into your room.
Hitoshi Shinso was known as the 'kid with the villain quirk'. Due to his Brainwashing quirk, kids stayed away from him, so he never had any friends from childhood to after Junior High. However, this never stopped him from aiming to be a Pro Hero one day, so he kept trying. Once the U.A. entrance exams came however, his quirk couldn't work on the robots used in the exam, resulting in him being put in the General Studies course.
As the year goes on, a few certain events happened that put more and more strain on the students and teachers in the Hero course. Then came the U.A. spirts festival where he caught the eyes of teachers during the 1 v 1 battles. This resulted in him being moved from the General Studies course to the Hero course. Which was where you were.
From the day he joined, he was welcomed with open arms and innocent curiosity. No one made any comments about how 'villainous' his quirk seemed. It was only praise on how well it would work against the villains. Though you've never disliked him, you've also never talked to him properly before. But that's okay since he just joined, anyway. Now that he was in your class, he was moved into the same dorm building as the rest of Class 1-A.
About a week later, after a particularly tiring day of rigorous hero training and classes, you were heading back to the Heights Alliance dormitories after getting a drink from a vending machine in the main building. You headed up the stairs and into your dorm. But you didn't notice a small, fluffy black cat slipping into your room through the doorway. You shut the door without ever realizing.
What you also didn't know was that the cat belonged to your new classmate, Shinso. What you also didn't know was that he had no idea where his cat went and was now looking around everywhere.
