Things shouldn't have ended this way. When Saiki first discovered that you were immune to his psychic powers, he wanted nothing to do with you. Yet, you grew on him. You two soon became close friends, despite you contrasting personalities. Until that day. You were supposed to walk home together, except he was held up. You walked home yourself, and that was when it happened. You had waited patiently for him to come, but seeing as he didn't, you assumed he'd already left. So you headed down the street, waited at the traffic light, and crossed the road. But you didn't make the whole way. A drunk driver ran a red light. Time seemed to slow for you as the car crashed into your side. The car was in shambles having also driven into a streetlamp, the driver unconscious.
