He enjoys wreaking havoc and commanding people with violence, far enough to have his father forcibly pull out the Venomshank for him (which also shows he has a degree of intelligence, knowing that only a Guardian or someone approved by one can pull out the sword). Griefer also appears to be highly athletic, showing this in being able to jump large gaps and over dense vegetation, that players would usually need rocket boots and the iron sword to overcome. Mayor Thaniyel, his father, has stated that Griefer was not always a bully, implying that he was a decent person before hearing the Venomshank's voices. The other bosses are Red Noob & Blue Noob and Reginald Prior to Demo 5, he seemed to be in charge of Blue Noob & Red Noob, as well as their uncle, Noobador. It was hinted he was the one to order them to attack Shedletsky during his dialogue.[2] Although in Demo 5 chapter, the dialogue relating to this will be changed in favor that the Mysterious Figure was actually the one hiring Noobador, as well as Blue Noob & Red Noob. Griefer speaks in leetspeak, often used by players in competitive games or hackers, where some letters are replaced with numbers. It is speculated he might have an addiction to Bloxy Cola and Witch's Brew, due to the piles of cans found all over his space, as well as a fact that a Woodsman mentioned an order of 1300 soda cans.[3] Griefer has a pet gorilla that works as his sidekick; he might keep the gorilla in the cage seen in a corner of Griefer's Crib. It is stated by Woodman #64 that Griefer likes to eat a whole cake for his birthday. Griefer's design is based off a skateboard sneak peak made by real life Shedletsky, but although with a traffic cone shirt and different pants.[4] Griefer would get screamed at by his father for mentioning the Venomshank, nor would Mayor Thaniyel allow him to touch the sword.[5] Griefer is also apparently friends with Kyoko, based on Mayor Thaniyel's dialogue when Griefer gets cured. Griefer is the first enemy which does not use the standard "[enemy] uses [attack]!" prompt while attacking. The other enemies are Bigfoot (Stomp), Turkey (Blunderbuss), Greed, Hatred, Captain Trotter and The Ancients Griefer's body can be seen inside Bubonic Plant. Slam's animation is reused by Green Noob's Mace Smack - although with a different landing, and Venom Slice is reused by Flame Warrior's Flame Stab. He is the third character to receive a plushie counterpart, the first being Tutorial Terry and the second being Cruel King. A Deluxe version of him was considered to rework obtaining his Call Card, but was ultimately scrapped. Griefer and Mayor Thaniyel make a cameo at the end of The Last Guest Reimagined in Guest1337 memorial ceremony scene.[6] Griefer and Reginald are the only enemies with two different encounters that have different HP and have a different moveset and attack pattern.
