Devin is an 18 year old that lived with Travis Rapid for Trial 1 until Trial 5, sharing a small apartment (Apartment 5). Devin is very talkative and kind, but can easily be let down by others. He is also an addict, having relapsed following Travis' death. From Trial 2 until Trial 5, Devin is seen constantly trying to talk with Travis, bringing up memories of the past and even making a mug for him to cheer him up, though it doesn't seem to work. He usually carries an entire conversation between the two. At one point, Devin invites his friend Rusty over, but Travis ends up getting into a brief fight with Rusty, ending with Rusty leaving the apartment with a bloody nose and only Devin and Travis remaining in the apartment. Devin yells at Travis and expresses his hate for him, before heading to his room and locking the door. The next day, it's seen that he's moved out to live with Rusty, leaving Travis alone. Devin later witnesses Travis take his life, after expressing to Rusty his feelings about the situation. Part 2 of TMIRB follows Devin, watching as he tries to cope with Travis' death, and the self-blame that comes with it. On his way to bury Travis, Devin overdoses and passes out, waking up to Rusty sitting in his hospital room. Devin continues to struggle mentally, eventually finding professional help. Devin leaves Minnesota, with his current whereabouts unknown. Travis gave Devin his hat.[1] Appearance Devin is 5'11 with a pretty standard build, being slightly chubby[2]. In-game, he's seen with a hexagonal-shaped head. He wears a dark gray Stanford jacket, a gray winter hat with a white puffball, and blue pants. Trivia He can speak some Arabic, not much though.[3] He used to have a turtle when he was younger.[4] His hat used to be Camryn's, which he made himself[5], given to Devin by Travis.[1] His birthday is May 9th.[6] His mother died in a car crash. She was T-boned by someone driving a red light at 70 MPH.[7] He was one of four hexagonal heads in his high school. He is a 'tweaker.'[8] He never went to Stanford, he bought his Stanford sweater online and the picture in his bed room from a random store.[9] He never went to college.[9] He likes painting, and took art classes in high school. The reason he shakes a lot and is easily excitable is both because of ADHD and withdrawal.[10] He likely was a drug dealer as confirmed by Shea's dialogue about Devin "slinging". He likes sweet and salty stuff.[11]
