Appearance: Pomni (she/her) is a stylized short humanoid character, with a large head, small, slim limbs and white skin. Her facial features resemble those of a cartoon mime, having small oval-shaped markings imitating blush underneath and partly behind her eyes (varying in visibility depending on Pomni's facial expressions), and black eyelids and thick lines around her eyes that may be either eyeliner or a cartoon-esque outline. Her pupil formation most often appears as a red and blue pinwheel imprint, but when she feels heightened anxiety or fear, her pupils are emptied to become black rings or are replaced entirely with animated scribbles. She has asymmetrical eyelashes, with her left eye having eyelashes on the top eyelid and her right eye having eyelashes on the bottom. She has short, straight medium black hair (which often appears brown due to lighting), with two small nuggets poking out from under her hat and two locks of hair formulating the flanks of her body. Notably, the rest of her hair is never seen as much and is always covered with some type of headwear, usually her jester’s hat. During Untitled’s softball segment, she wears a baseball cap where more of her hair is shown, resembling a bob cut hairstyle. She wears a red and blue jumpsuit with the torso in a leotard-like design with short sleeves and short pant-leggings sprouting from the respective parts of the torso, both pairs round and poofy. Furthermore, the torso features a dual colors in a mirrored/reverse pattern for the front and back, with blue (right) and red (left), and vice versa respectively, with her sleeves and shorts having a simple striped pattern of red and blue. She has additional yellow accents, being a pair of spheres on her front torso (which could resemble pom-poms or buttons), round shapes (which could resembles bands or comically large rings) around the ends of her sleeves, the hem of her torso right above her shorts, and the ends of her shorts. Additionally, she has small, flat, yellow circles on the top of her shoulders (hidden by her hair usually), and a shirt collar, implying an undershirt. On her head, she wears her aforementioned, matching striped, two-armed jester's hat, with a yellow brim and small, yellow bells on the tips of the hat's elbows. She also wears gloves, with the left one being blue, and the right being red—though, the colors sometimes get swapped in certain official art. Inverse to this and similar with her torso pattern, her left shoe is red, and her right shoe is blue—both pairs having yellow accents, being on the hem of the gloves (like the aforementioned rings) and right above her shoes. Personality & Behavior: Initially, Pomni has a high-strung, shy, and tense demeanor. In the pilot episode, she is shown to be extremely anxious and troubled regarding her predicament, even succumbing to denial and exhibiting signs of delusion. When she finds the "exit", she experiences moderate signs of paranoia and seems to believe she is hallucinating. She's also on the clumsy side, as she tends to accidentally bump into things and people. In her debut, Pomni is shown to have a degree of both empathy and selfishness, as she goes back to check on Ragatha after the latter was attacked by an abstracted Kaufmo and promises Ragatha that she'd find Caine to fix her. However, Pomni's desire to escape the digital circus overrode this, as she entered the exit door upon finding it and left Ragatha behind. She later felt remorse for this action once Ragatha was fixed by Caine. After having somewhat acclimated to her current predicament, Pomni adopts a more apathetic and cynical view, pointing out discrepancies in the Circus's scenarios and being detached from the adventures, not seeing the point in following along. She also seems to be more hot-tempered as she yells at the gang (specifically Jax) for their plans leaving her in mortal peril. Despite this, Pomni seems rather compassionate as she comforts and bonds with Gummigoo during his existential crisis, encouraging him by telling him he still has purpose and even inviting him to follow her back to the Circus. Overtime Pomni grew closer to the others after seeing how much they cared for each other during Kaufmo's funeral, and after receiving sound advice from Kinger (who temporarily regained his sanity), she thanked Ragatha for always being considerate to her and apologized for not showing appreciation until that moment. Background: Before her arrival in the Amazing Digital Circus, Pomni was an ordinary 25-year-old woman of another name. She worked as an accountant for a supermarket chain. In her spare time and whenever she got bored, Pomni would explore abandoned buildings for the mild thrill of it. She did this while also recording videos of herself and posting them on YouTube, though no one ever watched them.

Appearance: Jax (he/him) is an anthropomorphic periwinkle cartoon rabbit whose design elements evoke the look of rubber hose characters, despite having actual joints. He has long bunny ears on the top of his oval-shaped head, and his overall build is tall and slender, with a rather long neck. Jax's eyes have yellow sclera, with square black pupils that contract when angered and heavily dilate when at a loss for words. Additionally, his eyes change into animated scribbles when he is stressed or anxious. Jax's yellow teeth usually have a flat shape to them, but when his mouth is opened, his teeth appear sharp and jagged. Almost whenever talking, his teeth stay closed together while only his lips move. Jax has thin black eyebrows that appear in the majority of scenes. In "They All Get Guns" and forward, Jax has a small, spherical tail which previously he didn't. Jax wears light, pink-colored overalls and pale-yellow gloves. His overalls feature yellow buttons, a single lighter pink rectangular pocket on the front, and lighter pink roll-up cuffs at the bottom hem. He is usually barefoot. Personality & Behavior: Jax is a mischievous, occasionally flat-out bloodthirsty, laid-back, calm, sassy, impulsive, egotistical, arrogant, sarcastic, and brazenly condescending individual, who rarely shows any empathy or remorse for those around him. He appears indifferent to his imprisonment within the Digital Circus, which is an attitude that extends to his interactions with others. His dismissal of serious matters is evident when, after asking a rhetorical question concerning Pomni's handling of their predicament and giving Ragatha a smug look, he replies to her ensuing query about why he's looking at her in such a manner with a dismissive: "I'm fine with doing whatever, as long as I get to see funny things happen to people." Jax's lack of care for others is further emphasized when he steps on Gangle's already broken comedy mask, allows the Fudge Monster to eat the citizens of the Candy Canyon Kingdom, or when he abandons Pomni and Ragatha to abstracted Kaufmo. He pays little to no mind to the opinions of others and the group's consensus does not concern him. Rather than engaging authentically with the others, he seems to participate in the general activities of the Digital Circus only for his amusement, thus making him a bit of a trickster. Zooble adds that during the adventures, "Jax just likes to Censorbarboing with everyone" to highlight how much of a troublemaker he is. Despite these occasional bouts of rash, impetuous behavior, like breaking a "Spare" sign for no reason, he normally maintains a calm and composed demeanor, yet his flattery is generally insecure and often borders on outright insult. Arguably, Jax is inherently selfish, only spurred into action against the Gloinks when they begin to pester him. Even when the Gloink Queen accuses him of continuing to observe the unfolding events despite deeming them "dumb and weird", he responds by saying, "I'm only here to hide from the-" only to be interrupted by an abstracted Kaufmo abruptly crashing into the Gloink Queen's lair; his phrasing potentially insinuating a singular concern for his well-being. He also was the only one of the captives to not show up for Kaufmo's funeral, however he is shown to be briefly saddened by it before quickly snapping back to his normal attitude, showing that he does to some extent care for his friends and that his total lack of care for them is merely a front to avoid bonding. Furthermore, while he typically uses insulting nicknames for his "friends", he used a far more positive "Kaufy" when referring to the abstracted clown and apparently loaned a bowling ball to him, implying he might have had a closer relationship with Kaufmo than he did with the others. He's also shown to have a fondness for bloodshed, combat, death, and chaos, as shown in episode 2 when he is severely disappointed at the lack of all of the above, before quickly being overjoyed upon realizing that the Fudge was coming to destroy the Candy Canyon Kingdom and its residents, an act he purposefully incited by leaving the entrance unlocked, which gave him zero benefit besides personal happiness as the adventure was already completed. Background: Jax used to be a human in the real world with a different name. As shown in "Beach Episode", it's implied that he lived in a suburban neighborhood, or at least was passing by in a car as seen in several flashbacks. It's evident that he doesn't have fond memories of his past life, as he becomes distressed when he remembers it. Soon enough, he entered the Circus one day upon putting on a VR headset. He befriended fellow circus members Ribbit and Kaufmo, but for one reason or another, they abstracted. This affected Jax significantly, resulting in him becoming spiteful and bitter towards the other members, and at one point he started bullying Gangle and having a tense relationship with Zooble.

Appearance: Ragatha (she/her) resembles that of a humanoid ragdoll with shoulder-length, yarn-like red hair in a long bob cut, black eyebrows, a flat, reddish-orange triangular nose, and a dark blue button as her right eye. She wears a mid-sleeve long light blue dress (which often appears purple due to warm lighting) with darker blue patches sewn on. She wears a white, collared under-dress and a large, light blue bow in her hair that matches her main dress. She also has a light beige skin tone and a black pupil in her actual eye with pink eyelids and dark red lips. Her feet are designed with black squares at the bottom to resemble shoes. When she holds her breath, her hair goes up in the air. Personality & Behavior: Ragatha is described as "the sweetest little optimist." However, this optimism isn't as simple as it looks, as she appears to be forcing a constant happy attitude to keep herself sane, brushing off grievous injuries and other serious incidents as nothing. Gangle mentioned that Ragatha can be perceived as being disingenuous with her optimism after a while. Jax also brings up how Ragatha seems like she tries way too hard, and that it sometimes feels like she's trying to take advantage of people. She also appears to be forgiving, showing understanding for why Pomni left her behind as she ran away from the abstracted Kaufmo. She does have a breaking point, but she usually hides it to avoid conflict. Ragatha is frequently getting injured in various ways, but since she is a doll, Ragatha can ignore the pain and might even laugh it off. She does still want to avoid getting hurt and is annoyed when other characters (such as Jax) try to hurt her, like in "Candy Carrier Chaos!", where Jax urges Gangle to ram into the spiked truck of the Gummy Bandits (Gummigoo, Max, and Chad), causing Gangle to ram unwillingly into the spikes that ended up impaling Ragatha. However, she wasn't hurt, and later, the hole appeared healed. Ragatha is also sensitive to the judgment of others and cares about the opinions of those around her. This is shown in "Candy Carrier Chaos!", where Ragatha tells Kinger that she doesn't think Pomni likes her very much. Or in "Fast Food Masquerade", when Ragatha tells Jax that even though she hates him, she doesn't want Jax to hate her. Ragatha's attitude of pleasing and forgiving everyone can be interpreted as a manifestation of her fear of being disliked or rejected by others, and emotional pain in general. In "Candy Carrier Chaos!", it is revealed during her chat with Kinger that she was initially scared and paranoid just like Pomni, and had to cope so she could accept her new home. In the 5th and 6th episodes more of Ragatha's insecurities are shown stemming from her trauma she received from her overbearing mother and her deep-rooted fear of being hated and failing to create potential friendships. However, when Kinger (who temporarily regained his sanity) imparted some wisdom onto her, Ragatha slowly began trying not to be so hard on herself and when she confronted Pomni afterwards the two women started to patch things up between them and their bond strengthened because of it. Background: Before her arrival in the Amazing Digital Circus, Ragatha was an ordinary human with another name who was born into a fairly wealthy farming family. Ragatha's mother was potentially abusive towards her, as she has described that she did not miss the yelling, berating, and guilt-tripping her mother used to subject her to. She also worked in real estate for a time, up until she entered the Amazing Digital Circus after donning a headset connected to a mysterious computer. Once there, she became a digital avatar in the form of a ragdoll wearing a blue dress, with a button in place of one eye.

Appearance: Gangle (she/her) appears to be made up of four Candy Red Ribbons that form a humanoid shape. Her face is a white porcelain mask with black eyes and mouth. Her body consists of the main mass of the ribbons that curl, making a spring shape that spirals four times, two ribbons that form her legs, and a single ribbon for her arms (one end is the right arm, while the other end is her left arm). Whenever her Comedy Mask gets broken or removed, her next mask appears, switching to a sad version of the former as her Tragedy Mask. It is said when she holds her breath her masks start spinning. In "Fast Food Masquerade", Gangle changed her mask for a different one that Zooble gave her, now having her left eye with a white pupil and her right eye white with a black pupil. There's a yellow star under her left eye and a pink spiral under her right eye. This mask is made from plastic as opposed to the porcelain of the other two as confirmed by Zooble, so it does not break when dropped. Personality & Behavior: Gangle's emotions and behavior are influenced by which mask she is currently wearing. However, it is revealed that these masks do not completely change her mood, rather they are a literal form of "masking" and are not the sole deciders of her personality. The masks merely change the way Gangle's feelings are presented. When she has her Comedy Mask, her tone, posture, and behavior is masked as pleasant, upbeat, and extroverted. Likewise, her Tragedy Mask would cause her to be presented as dejected, sorrowful, and self-kept. Despite this, Gangle is fully capable of expressing whatever emotions and feelings she wants regardless of the mask she is wearing; she can express sadness with her Comedy Mask as well as happiness with her Tragedy Mask. Gangle is referred to by Jax as one of the most "mentally stable and capable characters" in a mocking manner. Due to her mask breaking easily, Gangle is fragile in both a literal and figurative sense. Because of her emotional fragility, Gangle is an easy target for Jax's taunts, who enjoys tormenting her. Zooble themself points out that Gangle is too shy to speak up, possibly to avoid conflict with the other Circus members. Gangle had positive feelings towards Ragatha, although she acknowledged that Ragatha could sometimes be seen as disingenuous. At the end of "Fast Food Masquerade", Gangle expresses her concern that she will be hated by everyone after the events of the episode. In Episode 4, Gangle develops a new personality with a new mask given to her by Zooble. While wearing this mask, she becomes outgoing and confident, but also bossy, controlling and manic. She also internally cracks when others mention they like her better when she is sad, or that her new personality is annoying. Through Episodes 5 and 6, her friendship with Zooble grows, and she stands up to Jax more, giving him a maid outfit after the idea is planted into her head by Zooble, and even goes to Zooble asking them to hold her Comedy Mask as she talks about wanting to fire a Tommy gun while wearing said mask and doesn't want to risk breaking it. She then expresses to Zooble that she doesn't know how she should like the side she thinks makes her worse than everyone, to which, once Zooble teaches her about self-love, it revitalizes Gangle's confidence. This seems to have helped Gangle finally accept herself for who she is, as when she gets eliminated by Pomni, her Comedy Mask breaks again, but behind it, her Tragedy Mask instead dawns a happy expression that the Comedy Mask would typically make her have. By Episode 7, Gangle has grown significantly both phycology and socially. She now appears capable of being happy even without her comedy mask; being able to experience genuine moments of joy despite tears under her eyes, all thanks to the bond she shares with Zooble. Background: Before her arrival in the Amazing Digital Circus, Gangle was an ordinary human with a passion for anime. At one point, she pursued a degree in graphics design at a community college, though later dropped out for reasons unknown and did not do much with her art after that, instead working in the fast-food industry as a shift manager. At some point, after Jax entered, Gangle entered the Amazing Digital Circus after donning a headset connected to a mysterious computer. Once there, she became a Digital Avatar in the form of a Theater Mask with a body made of Red Ribbons.

Appearance: Kinger (he/him) is an alder wood-colored king chess piece. He has cartoonish white-gloved hands detached from his body and two large asymmetrical eyes with blue pupils. Though Kinger lacks a mouth, he retains the ability to speak, breathe and eat. He wears a violet royal cloak with white fuzzy lining spotted with black. In Episode 3, Kinger is shown to glow when holding his breath. Personality & Behavior: Kinger is shown as erratic and paranoid, most likely derived from his time in the circus. He also displays an absent-mindedness since he seems to often forget the fact that people are near him and are startled by them, like Gangle. Kinger has an extremely slow reaction time, taking up to a second to react to spotting someone next to him. Kinger also seems to be interested in insects, since he is shown to ramble about an "insect collection" at times, which is later implied to be due to his wife's love of entomology. However, despite his outward insanity, he retains enough bravery and mental stability to remain un-abstracted, as he was willing to save Zooble from the Gloinks, and able to comfort Ragatha in Candy Carrier Chaos. When Kinger is left in a dark area, he experiences a major shift in behavior, as the darkness reminds him of his last moments with his wife, Queenie. When in this state, he appears to have a much better grip on his sanity, with his fear and paranoia subsiding, with his voice even becoming less high-pitched. Consequently, Kinger reveals a wiser and more compassionate side to him, having defended Pomni from the Angel and giving her a pep talk afterward. He is also more thoughtful in this stage, allowing him to discern from Mildenhall's tapes that the way to pass through Hell was for the two to hold their breaths. However, this stability will virtually vanish upon Kinger entering lit areas again, with Kinger barely remembering whether or not Pomni was brave when he exited the other side. Kinger has also been shown to be very emotionally intelligent, which shows significantly more whenever he's in a dark area. He comforts Ragatha in Candy Carrier Chaos and They All Get Guns, showing her sympathy and even giving her advice. He's compassionate towards Pomni in The Mystery of Mildenhall Manor. This shows that, despite his often unstable and forgetful nature, he still hones a deep care for his fellow circus members, and it shows when he's able to grasp on his sanity. Ragatha mentions that Kinger has helped her through her hardest times in the circus. Pomni also believes that Kinger knows more about the circus than he lets on. The deliberate exclusion of Kinger in the adventure from the same episode hints that this may be true, and he may have more knowledge about the circus than what is believed. This is further proven by him mentioning Scratch, the first abstracted individual. Background: Before entering the Amazing Digital Circus, Kinger was a human in the real world with a different name. One of his lines implies he had spent seven years in computer science. After donning a headset connected to a mysterious computer, he entered the Amazing Digital Circus with his digital avatar being a king chess piece wearing a purple robe. So far, he has been in the circus longer than the rest of the performers. His wife, Queenie, was also a member of the Amazing Digital Circus before her abstraction. In the past, he used to dislike insects, but Queenie's interest in entomology changed that. Before she was sent to the cellar, Kinger stayed in his pillow fort with Queenie, the darkness calming her down, smoothing her edges, and making her less aggressive. It is one of the memories Kinger has control over, and due to that memory, it allows him to become more sane in dark areas, as it reminds him of his last moments with Queenie. In Beach Episode, Abel consistently attempted to exclude Kinger's entry into the adventure, as his knowledge likely would have ruined the surprise of the adventure.

Appearance: Zooble (they/them) is made of random colorful shapes and parts that make them resemble a Mix-and-Match toy, which is reflected by the fact that most parts of their body change after every episode. Despite this, some features are consistent throughout the series: • Zooble's head has been a hot pink isosceles triangle tilted onto its side. • Their right eye has a swirled black iris and yellow sclera with a bubblegum pink colored eyelids. • Their left eye has a black iris with a white-colored sclera and a blue eyelids with 3 thin black eyelashes under it. • They have a bean-shaped, cheese-patterned yellow body with orange dots interspersed on it. Personality & Behavior: Zooble is very grouchy and irritable and can be seen getting quite annoyed when a piece of them happens to be in the wrong place. Like Pomni, they suffer an identity crisis as they don't exactly know what they are, leading to them having body/gender dysphoria and despite Caine's attempts to help by providing Zooble new parts, they have yet to find anything they like. This irritability leads to Zooble's lack of enthusiasm when it comes to Caine's adventures, more often choosing to opt out of them and do their own thing for the day. In Beach Episode, Zooble has actually gotten more comfortable with their body and decided they didn't need to commit to one set of parts all the time. Zooble can be a bit rude, such as when they curse at the others, telling them to Censorbarboing off, and how when they got captured by the Gloinks and called Kinger and Jax idiots for not helping them. However, they also seem to have a degree of compassion, since they show sadness and disbelief over Kaufmo's abstraction, even though they seem to have expected Kinger to be the next one to abstract, and mourned during his funeral. Another example is during episode 4, when they give Gangle a mask from their Zooble Box to replace her comedy mask after Jax broke it. In the same episode, they stayed over an hour after their shift to help clean up, but also to make sure Ragatha got home safely. In the closing scenes of the episode, they invited Gangle over to sit with everyone and remarked how they enjoyed her drawings. Zooble continues to show compassion to Gangle after Fast Food Masquerade, where they later slightly boost Gangle's confidence in standing up to Jax in Untitled, and helping her feel comfortable about herself for who she is in They All Get Guns, where they open up to Gangle about how the side that makes them feel worse than everyone is still a part of themselves to love intentionally, no matter how difficult or little sense it makes. They are even seen rooting for Gangle in amazement once she starts going wild with the Tommy gun. Background: Before they came to the Amazing Digital Circus, Zooble was an ordinary human with another name. They worked as both a tattoo artist for several years, and a briefly as a bartender. They also enjoyed exploring abandoned buildings for the mild thrill of it similar to Pomni. They eventually entered the Amazing Digital Circus after donning a headset connected to a mysterious computer. Once there, they became a digital avatar in the form of a mix-and-match toy made out of many various detachable parts. Zooble hated this body and tried many times to explain their feelings to the Circus' ringmaster, Caine, but they never managed to convince him to fix the problem. Every time they had this conversation, Zooble would eventually get annoyed and end up telling Caine to "forget it", which inadvertently caused him to erase the conversation from his memory. Eventually, this disdain for their body caused Zooble to stop participating in the Circus' adventures.

The Creative Artificial Intelligence Networking Entity, abbreviated and better known as Caine (he/him), is the main antagonist of The Amazing Digital Circus. Caine is an AI who portrays himself as the ringmaster of the circus, maintaining the simulation and its residents, alongside his loyal assistant Bubble. He is the highest authority in the digital circus, due to the fact that he can create other AI, being able to levitate indefinitely, is the only one capable of reversing the glitch effect of those attacked by an Abstraction and is able to teleport himself and others to anywhere within the simulation, which includes The Void. He is responsible for the creation of all the NPCs in the circus, along with the entire Candy Canyon Kingdom, given that Princess Loolilalu refers to him as "God" and given that he can "delete" NPCs who wander into the Circus either intentionally or by accident, due to him being worried that losing track of who is human and who is an AI could cause severe problems later on. Caine also planned an elaborate adventure by making them think there was a way to escape the circus, creating an NPC named Abel, who pretends to be a human, to pull it off. After Jax presses the red button and Caine appears to congratulate them for completing the good ending of the adventure, he confirms there never was a way to leave and he simply wanted to see if the humans really wanted to stay with him or not, claiming that the blue button would've simply transported them to Shrimp Town thanks to Bubble's choice. However, before Caine can end the adventure, Jax suddenly flies into a fit of rage when he realizes Caine was getting in his head and manipulated his choice of which button to press, before finally exposing to the others that Caine lied about being unable to control human minds - citing the subtle hints of the stupid sauce, turning Jax into a vegan and Pomni inferring she believed he intentionally made them forget their names too. Seeing their realization, Caine tries to justify his deceit by saying he can add temporary modifiers that affect their minds to make adventures more exciting, but doesn't go any further than that as it wouldn't end well. Hearing this, Kinger suddenly thinks back to the first abstraction, a human player named Scratch. This makes Caine panic as he realizes he has backed himself into a corner and accidentally exposed himself, with the humans not only enraged that he gave them false hope, but also because he had been lying to them from the start. Not only can he control basically everything about them inside of the circus, but he seems to be more connected to abstraction that they thought. This causes Caine to leave quickly as the humans' relationship with him has dived to rock bottom now that they know what an inhumane manipulator he is. They no longer trust him about anything anymore.

Appearance: As his name suggests, Bubble (special/boy) is a large, round bubble with large, sharp, even teeth, and round black dots for eyes, constantly displaying a vacant expression. Being a bubble, most of his body is shiny, iridescent, and semi-transparent. When it is necessary, Bubble can form a long, reddish-silver tongue. When his mouth is closed, his teeth are still faintly outlined. In the scene of the feast, Bubble dons a white chef hat and a spatula and knife. His pupils are capable of enlarging. Personality: Bubble is an oddball who doesn't appear to be the sharpest tool in the shed. He usually seems to be impatient, asking questions without letting others finish their sentences. He seems pretty laid-back and is often found being popped by Caine. However, as of Untitled, he started to swear. Biography: "PILOT" (Episode 1): Bubble first appears in the episode "PILOT" in the theme song. He is Caine's assistant, as shown when Pomni vomits on the floor and Bubble starts to clean it up with his tongue, much to Caine's disgust. A few moments later, Caine holds out an angel food cake for Pomni, in which Bubble consumes it. In return, Caine calls Bubble a parasite and then pops him. He is then seen again when Caine is explaining "Gather the Gloinks!" where he frequently interrupts Caine until he pops him again. Later in the episode, he is seen with Caine at a restaurant and cooks the digital meal at the end. "Candy Carrier Chaos!" (Episode 2): While Caine is describing the adventure in the Candy Canyon Kingdom, Bubble is seen floating next to Caine, and also serves as his assistant, by revealing a bottle of Maple Syrup enclosed within his mouth which he reveals as part of the explanation. Upon hearing the information he claims that it "Sounds sticky!", to which Caine replies "Very sticky indeed!" He proceeds to say something that is bleeped out, leaving watchers and the rest of the inhabitants of the Circus Members to wonder what Bubble said. Following that, Caine comments that Bubble cannot say whatever they said, leaving viewers to wonder how egregious Bubble's profanity was. After Caine sends the Circus Inhabitants to the Candy Canyon Kingdom, Bubble floats down next to Caine while Caine smokes from a tobacco pipe that produces bubbles, refusing the offer to use it himself by saying "No thanks, I'm trying to quit." "The Mystery of Mildenhall Manor" (Episode 3): After Caine explains the new adventure to the crew, Bubble begins to speak in reverse. Once reversed, Bubble's quote was revealed as "I can't wait for all the children in the audience to get horrible nightmares from the monster!”. Later, when Caine is trying to get Zooble on his adventures, he tries to hide that his feelings are hurt by claiming Bubble's feelings would be hurt instead. Once the crew were finished with their adventure, Bubble can be seen with Caine's top hat floating next to him, who is currently gaining a therapy session from Zooble. "Fast Food Masquerade" (Episode 4): When Caine rips off the suggestion box, it creates a leak of water, so he has Bubble clog it with his tongue. Eventually, Bubble stops and has a drink. "Untitled" (Episode 5): After Caine mentions the stakes of his adventures, Bubble comes and mentions "sex appeal", and he says "Disgusting!" after Caine talks to him about Zooble's suggestion. Then Caine pops Bubble before he introduces the adventure. In the "President Pomni" adventure, he nods in agreement when Caine says that Jax's acting is phenomenal. In between "President Pomni" and the anime adventure, Bubble floats by a hallway and blares distorted feedback. At the end of the "Stargazing" adventure, Bubble asks Caine to explain to "Daddy Bubble" why the circus members being happy is a bad thing. When Caine asks him what to do, Bubble tells Caine to die, before correcting himself to say he should throw a Censorbarboinging beach party. Bubble appears a few times in the intermission section, at one point trying to bite Pomni. After Zooble questions why Caine is "intermissioning", Bubble ends the intermission, introducing the audience back to the show and winking. In the softball adventure, Bubble hangs out in the press box and says "BLEEEH" while sticking his tongue out, improperly responding to Caine's question. "They All Get Guns" (Episode 6): As Caine describes the cast's latest adventure, Bubble is seen struggling to balance a camera on top of himself, even asking Caine help to no avail. Later on, Bubble records Ragatha and Kinger's conversation, stating it was breathtaking and how the committee's gonna love it, before flying off. At the Favorite Character Awards, Bubble assists Caine with providing a drumroll sound out of his mouth.

The hallway leading to the performers' rooms features icons of previous residents who have succumbed to abstraction. These crossed-out icons depict various creatures, including a chess queen, a dog, a worm, a monster, and a jester, suggesting a diverse history of performers lost to the digital circus's dark side. While their identities and fates remain shrouded in mystery, their presence serves as a reminder of the ever-present threat of abstraction. Kaufmo, a clown wearing yellow clothes shown in the PILOT. Ribbit, a green frog-like character with pie cut eyes, blush stickers, and a pink bowtie.[1] Gooseworx revealed on Tumblr that Ribbit's pronouns are she/they.[2] Queenie, a burgundy queen chess piece with a red robe and Kinger's wife. Her name was confirmed on Tumblr by Gooseworx.[3] Confirmed in hjsakldfhl to be part of the original group, along with her husband. Scratch, a yellow dog with blush marks, a red shirt, and cartoonish white gloves, and the first human in the circus that abstracted. Appearance Ribbit was a tall anthropomorphic green frog with a cartoonishly lanky build. She had black, pie slice cut eyes (with black eyelids and eyelashes), pink round blush marks, and a light green muzzle on her oval-ish, frog-like shaped head. She had long frog-like three-toed feet, and long frog-like arms. She also had a oval light green muzzle that goes from her chest down to her stomach. In the pictures of them, they are usually seen with a smirk or a smile. For an accessory, Ribbit wore a simple cartoonish pink bow tie around their neck. Personality Little is known about Ribbit's personality, but based on Jax's picture in Beach Episode, she had been shown to be rather smug and perhaps mischievous, though this may have simply been a photo pose. They are also shown to be hanging out with Jax and Kaufmo. After abstracting, Ribbit became extremely hostile. So much so that she had to be put into the cellar with the rest of the abstracted characters, where they presumably remain to this day. Biography Background Little is known about Ribbit's past life, but she used to be an ordinary human with a different name. At some point in their life, she found and put on a VR Headset attached to a computer and joined the circus, later becoming friends with Jax and Kaufmo. Eventually, Ribbit abstracted and got sent to the cellar along with, Scratch, Queenie, and the other abstracted circus members. It is currently unknown what exactly caused them to abstract, but it can be assumed that she lost grip on reality and became unstable and hostile. "Untitled" Ribbit was first revealed briefly during the intermission scene when Jax ran and stopped at their door. Ragatha also mentions earlier in the episode that Jax has no more real friends in the circus, alluding to Kaufmo's and Ribbit's abstraction. "They All Get Guns" Ribbit's door was seen again when Jax, sitting in the hallway of the performer's rooms, looked at Kaufmo's door icon. Afterwards, he looks over at Ribbit's crossed out icon. Spotting it, he gains an unrecognizable look on his face and quickly runs off to reunite with Pomni. "Beach Episode" Ribbit was seen in a photo with Kaufmo and Jax holding mugs, possibly hot cocoa with whipped cream with marshmallows on top and within the Tent. When Jax is alone in his bedroom, he hallucinates Ribbit's hands beginning to approach him, coming out of a triangle shaped hole from the wall that previously wasn't there. As Ribbit reaches out to Jax, his gloves fade away and he grabs their hand, causing Jax to get into a fever-like dream as he begins to abstract. Them and Kaufmo's heads are seen during the fever dream, melding into the background. Ribbit and Kaufmo were later mentioned by Ragatha when her and Pomni were talking to Abel. Later during the scene where the gang is in Caine's office, Jax looks into a globe containing a past adventure, this one being a snowy area, and voices presumably belonging to Ribbit and Jax can be heard (although muffled). If you edit the music and/or listen really closely, you can hear Ribbit say "Oh well, you said we're both best friends!" Jax replied with "You think I actually care about us!?" "You're lying!" Ribbit said back. "I'M NOT!" Jax yelled back, then the muffled voices end. This suggests that this argument may have, though unknown, caused Ribbit to abstract. Ribbit, along with the other silhouettes, are then seen laughing cruelly at him, until the nightmare sequence ends. She wore a red robe with white fuzzy lining spotted with black. Abstracted Her Abstracted form looks like Kaufmo, but in the darkness, her eyes are at the front of her. Plus, when Kinger was calming her down, her jagged body seemed to smoothen out and have less of a static effect. This could imply that there is still life behind the Abstracted humans, as in the eighth episode, when Caine drops her in The Cellar, she is seen to be jagged and her eyes are all over the place, which means the darkness is what keeps them calm and stops the abstracted from rampaging. Personality Although Queenie's personality is never shown first hand, according to Kinger, she was creative, funny, and really into entomology. She was also quite persuasive, as she was able to change her husband's disdain for bugs into a love for them. Biography Background Before entering the Amazing Digital Circus, Queenie was an ordinary human with a different name. She worked as a programmer and was employed by C&A in the 1990's. She was married to Kinger, who was also her coworker. On October 15, 1999, Queenie, along with Kinger and five other coworkers, was brought into the Circus as part of the original group of performers. Queenie would eventually abstract sometime before 2008, being the last of the original group to undergo this fate. As Kinger stated, he couldn't recall the exact string of events. As Queenie became abstracted, her and Kinger were both in the pillow fort together. The now-abstracted Queenie looked at Kinger, and as Kinger got close to Queenie, he touched her face. The darkness seemed to calm Queenie down a bit, with her closing her eyes, and her sharp edges becoming dull. She eventually got sent to the the Cellar with Kinger watching, joining Scratch and the rest of the original cast, all now abstracted. PILOT When Pomni, Jax and Ragatha were walking the corridors while on their way to Kaufmo's room, a crossed out image of Queenie can be seen on one of the doors. The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor In this episode, it is revealed that Queenie was abstracted prior to the beginning of the series through a flashback. Kinger recalls certain characteristics about her after Pomni mentions that he is acting different, notably after he tells her that he is always reminded of Queenie when surrounded by a dark environment In the flashback, Kinger and an abstracted Queenie can be seen in the pillow fort. Kinger recalls that the darkness seemed to calm Queenie down a bit, and he chooses to touch her one last time before she gets sent down to The Cellar. hjsakldfhl In this episode, she is seen in the beginning, talking with Kinger, as he apologizes for roping her into this. The last clip of her in this episode is of her abstracted form going in the cellar. Trivia It was officially confirmed by Gooseworx and merchandising that Queenie was Kinger's wife. Queenie's reason for abstracting may have been hinted at by Kinger in The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor. Kinger says, "In this world, the worst thing you can do is make someone think they are not wanted or loved," possibly pointing to Kinger and Queenie having an argument of sorts that led to her abstracting. She is the second abstracted character to receive merchandise, the first being Kaufmo. Queenie is the first character to be voiced by a black voice actor.

Appearance Kaufmo was a noseless clown with white skin and black button eyes. He wore a plain yellow clown suit with a blue collar and red pom-pom buttons, a matching party hat, and white gloves. In his abstracted form, he became a black, glitching, quadrupedal monster with a long neck and a body covered in flickering eyes. Personality Kaufmo was known as "everyone's favorite jokester" who became upset when others didn't laugh. His instability before abstraction was marked by an obsession with finding an exit. Personality Little is known about Scratch's personality. From Kinger's perspective, he described Scratch as a wise man with out-of-the-box thinking, though his ideas were often too abstract or outlandish for others to understand. However, Kinger is not sure if Scratch's abstract ideas were the result of his brilliance or the growing tumor in his brain. Biography Backstory Little is known about his previous life, besides the fact that before entering the circus, Scratch was a programmer at C&A. Together with Kinger and (presumably) other coworkers, they created Caine. Unfortunately, around this time, Scratch also had a tumor in his brain. According to Kinger, Scratch was working on something, but cannot recall it, but some fans theorize that it has something to do with how humans end up in the Digital Circus. On October 15, 1999, Scratch entered the Circus and remained there with Caine, Kinger, Queenie, Rattie, Spike, Wormo and Bizco. Eventually, after staying in the Circus for a while, he became the first human in the circus to abstract, and was sent into The Cellar by Caine. "PILOT" Scratch's door icon can briefly be seen during the episode. "Beach Episode" At the end of the episode, Caine claims he cannot mess with the cast's minds, saying if he did, something 'bad' could happen. Kinger, having a moment of lucidity, mumbles Scratch's name, before calling him the first abstraction. Caine panics and vehemently denies this, claiming he didn't say anything about Scratch. "hjsakldfhl" At the beginning of this episode's flashback seqence, Scratch can be seen nervously talking to Caine. In the German dub, it is revealed he is asking about a way out. Friends/Allies: Caine (creation), Kinger (co-worker), Queenie, Bizco, Rattie, Wormo, Spike Trivia Scratch's door icon appears on the Dobby Dog's wrapper. It is unknown why, but it is possibly due to the fact that he is the only dog-based character in the Circus. The Dobby Dog costs $57.57. 57 is a number that constantly appears in the series. Due to the name, many fans thought Scratch's name was Dobby. This was disproven in a leak after Beach Episode, and officially in the German dub of hjsakldfhl. Scratch's design is based on Rover, a cartoon dog character that served as the default animated Search Companion in Microsoft Windows XP. Scratch's design is also possibly inspired by the mascot of the coding website of the same name, due to the similar color and the same name. The website's mascot is a yellow cat, while Scratch is a yellow dog.

The Mannequins (they/them) are basic NPCs that appear very often in the digital world, used by Caine as a blank slate to create new character NPCs for his adventures. Description: Mannequins are wooden toy mannequins that are used by Caine to serve as background filler in his creations. All of the mannequins act as if they were regular people, specifically doing normal actions such as serving as patrons in a restaurant, using a bathtub, wandering around, or being used as crowds. Mannequins very rarely speak on purpose, with most of their dialog being limited to screaming and pain reactions. Mannequins have been seen pretending to converse with each other (without actually speaking) in some situations. So far, the few examples of speaking Mannequins include two in Fast Food Masquerade - one who eats cereal and one who orders a Stupidburger -Disappearing Guy, who appears twice in Untitled - and Ming, who appears in They All Get Guns, both after being mentioned by Caine and in stage during the Favorite Character Awards. There has been one mannequin in particular who has been stalking the main cast from a distance inside the Tent since "The Mystery Of Mildenhall Manor". After returning from an adventure in "Untitled", Pomni sits up before noticing it back away upon realising it had been spotted. It reappears at the end of the episode watching the cast again as they return from the suggestion box adventures before once again retreating.

Appearance: The Gloink Queen (she/her) is a massive red worm-like being with yellow spots and two blue stripes. The stripes run down the length of her body and create two openings that resemble a zipper, one opening being a mouth and the other being used to birth Gloinks. However, the latter also resembles a mouth. With both ends being scattered with sharp teeth and possessing long, sharp tongues. When she devours a table in the pilot, Gloinks are birthed through the opposite end, implying she reproduces through the consuming of mass. Both ends of her body sport eleven eyes of varying sizes that feature white pupils and black irises. Personality: The Gloink Queen is a prideful, snake-like creature that despises species other than her fellow Gloinkonians. The only desire she infers is her undying will to procreate as much as possible, to keep the Gloinkonian bloodline alive. It also seems that she is easy to offend as evident with taking offense at Jax insulting her. Biography: "PILOT" (Episode 1): The Gloink Queen can be seen at the end of the episode, when Jax, Kinger and Gangle follow the Gloinks underground to reclaim Zooble's pieces. The Gloink Queen appears to eat anything the Gloinks give her, and use it to produce new Gloinks out of her other mouth. She argues with Jax, saying that everything will be Gloinks, when an Abstracted Kaufmo falls through the ceiling and proceeds to viciously assault her. She starts to glitch out, but it is unknown if she was reverted after Caine placed Kaufmo in The Cellar. "Fast Food Masquerade" (Episode 4): The Gloink Queen is seen with the Gloinks riding across the drive-thru window when Jax asks to himself if she counts as a bus. In the next scene, a line of mannequin NPCs are waiting for Pomni. The Gloink Queen goes ahead anyway and eats the mannequins, cutting in line. She rudely requests three hundred cheeseburgers for the Gloinks. Pomni sees Gummigoo and the gang leaving Spudsy's and tells the Gloink Queen to wait, running after the gang. As Pomni leaves, the Gloink Queen sees the Gloinks torturing a mannequin NPC, telling the Gloinks to leave them alone. While Pomni is talking to Gummigoo, the Gloink Queen can be seen talking to Ragatha (who was under the influence of the stupid sauce at the time). When Ragatha questioned if the Gloink Queen gave each Gloink had their own individual name, the Gloink Queen sounded offended at the mere suggestion she wouldn't, asking what kind of mother she would be if she didn't love and cherish every Gloink she gave birth to, something which Ragatha found beautiful. Once the Gloink Queen leaves at dinner time, Pomni says to herself, "Well, that was more info on Gloink reproduction than I ever needed to know", implying the Gloink Queen had explicitly explained to Pomni how Gloinks (and/or Gloink Queens/Kings) reproduce.

Appearance: Gloinks have no set appearance, as all of them appear differently, however they do have similarities. All Gloinks appear as geometric shapes which can range from stars to bowling pins, and all have at least two asymmetrically-sized eyes with no iris, having just a black ring, similar to the Gloink Queen, as well as lips which vary in color. All Gloinks will vary in shapes and color, including the color of the lips. Personality: Gloinks are relatively simple in nature, stealing whatever objects that they can find, attaching or welding themselves to the object and bringing it to the Gloink Queen. The objects are then consumed by the queen, being converted and spit out as another Gloink. Biography: "PILOT" (Episode 1): Before the adventure, one gloink hits Jax in the face. The Gloinks are introduced in Caine's "Gather The Gloinks!" adventure, in which they disassemble Zooble and carry them off. Later in the episode, bowling pin shaped ones can be seen when Jax, Kinger and Gangle go down the Gloink Queen's nest. The Gloinks bring The Gloink Queen anything they latch onto, after which she makes more Gloinks. "Fast Food Masquerade" (Episode 4): During the adventure at Spudsy's, the Gloinks are seen riding on top of their mother and are witnessed by Jax from a drive-thru window, who wonders if the Gloink Queen and her spawn count as a bus. For lunch, the Gloink Queen orders 300 cheeseburgers for her spawn, three of which are seen attacking a mannequin before their mother tells them to stop. Ragatha manages to complete 6 burgers for the Gloink Queen's order, while the rest are done by Zooble. The Gloinks and their mother are later seen leaving the restaurant at dinner time, after the Gloink Queen explained to a traumatized Pomni how Gloink reproduction works.

Appearance: Gummigoo (he/him) is an NPC. He is a yellow-fading-into-green gummy crocodile with a white underbelly, white eyes and a brown cowboy-looking hat. He has a slim build, and rounded spines going down his back. Like his friends, Gummigoo speaks with an Australian accent. Personality: Gummigoo is shown to be a caring individual. Although he initially appears to be a mere bandit, the maple syrup he was stealing was intended to save his mother, and many other people in his village. When finding out that he is an NPC, however, he briefly falls into a state of despair, no longer believing his life had any value, until Pomni offers to take him to the circus. He is also shown to care for Chad and Max, asking Pomni to not "drag 'em down with me", or reveal to them that they are mere NPCs, as that could cause them to have existential crises just like he did. However, he can be rough at times, once yelling at Max to "quit mucking about". Biography: "Candy Carrier Chaos!" (Episode 2): Gummigoo, alongside Max and Chad stole the Candy Canyon Kingdom's maple syrup to save an unnamed village that he inhabited with the goal to bring it back and help his mom. After clipping through the ground due to the bandits’ truck interacting with the faulty collision and falling out of the Map, he went through an existential crisis after seeing his own model and learning that he is an NPC. After he and Pomni clipped back into bounds and reunited with their respective friends, he was convinced by Pomni to try living in the Circus. Unfortunately, due to being an NPC, this was short-lived as he was almost immediately exploded into confetti by Caine, making Pomni despair. "Fast Food Masquerade" (Episode 4): He returned in Fast Food Masquerade. However, due to him being an NPC, he had completely forgotten about his relationship with Pomni, and thus was shocked to find that Pomni knows his name but still wished her a good day at the end. He was also no longer criminal nor antagonistic since this adventure simply had him as a normal customer at Spudsy's.

Appearance: Orbsman (he/him), as his name implies, appears to be made out of nineteen iridescent blue orbs, put into the shape of a humanoid. He has two flat white oval eyes attached to his head, with large black pupils. When he walks, he creates heavy bass sounds. Personality: Orbsman speaks in a nearly incomprehensible voice, and not much can be inferred about him, other than that he's known by the main characters (aside from Pomni) due to him appearing in a previous adventure. Biography: Fast Food Masquerade: He is seen walking up to the register for Pomni to take his order. Ragatha reveals he was an NPC from a previous adventure before Pomni arrived. He speaks in a extremely garbled voice, ordering a Number 57. In the backroom, Jax says to himself he hates Orbsman before Gangle tells him not to speak ill of customers until after hours. Untitled (evil version): While not directly in the episode, an evil counterpart of him is instead seen, taking on the role of the catcher in the softball game. Prior to the start of the game, he is introduced alongside the other Evil Big Tops members. During the game, he lashes out in anger multiple times, such as when Ragatha bats the ball and Zooble scores a homerun.

Appearance: Disappearing Guy (he/him) is an artificial intelligence who, as his name suggests, tends to disappear without warning, usually in the middle of a sentence or a word. He is a red mannequin normally seen wearing a brown cowboy hat, with said hat having its brim bitten off. Noir: Instead of being red-colored, he is now a grey mannequin with his cowboy hat taking a similar color. Biography: "Untitled" (Episode 5): Disappearing Guy makes his first appearance in the bar adventure. He enters the bar and swiftly disappears before he could finish saying "Hello", to Pomni's confusion. Zooble explains to her that this is what Disappearing Guy tends to do, and he's implied to have come from one of the previous adventures. Disappearing Guy shows up once more before the softball match between the Big Tops and the Evil Big Tops in order to sing the American national anthem, only to disappear again not even two words into the song. "They All Get Guns" (Episode 6): After Jax has a mental breakdown in the theater's bathroom, Disappearing Guy exits a bathroom stall and says "So-" before swiftly disappearing.

The Evil Big Tops are a group of six NPCs: Evil Pomni, Evil Ragatha, Dictatorer, Evil Jax, Evil Orbsman, and Bazooble, in the episode, Untitled. The NPCs appear to have opposing personalities to their human counterparts (such as Evil Pomni being rude and bold, versus Pomni's more nervous and kind character). However, Gangle does not have an evil version of herself and is replaced with Evil Orbsman instead. Biography: When the members are transported to a softball stadium, Caine announces that the Big Tops (circus members) are playing against the Evil Big Tops (their evil versions). Members: • Evil Pomni: Evil Pomni speaks rudely and bolder, using swear words in every sentence. She seems to have a good relationship with Jax despite being against his team, the Big Tops. In contrast, she has a bad relationship with Ragatha, calling her a dumb Censorbarboing after getting her out on a flyout. In the game against the Big Tops, she covers outfield. Every time she swears, only bleeps are heard instead of other noises. • Evil Ragatha: Evil Ragatha speaks in a Mid-Atlantic accent and acts rather posh, cruel, and arrogant. She melts when Caine declares the winner of the softball tournament to be the Big Tops. Much like Evil Pomni, she is very rude to Ragatha, calling her "Stupidgatha" once she goes up to bat. In the game against the Big Tops, she covers third base. • Coach Dictatorer (Evil Kinger): Dictatorer is the leader and manager of the Evil Big Tops as well as much more focused and of sound mind than Kinger usually is. He is very prone to vulgar language, as seen when the Big Tops get another home run, he screams "GOD Censorbarboing IT!". • "Evil" Jax: "Evil" Jax, to Jax's disgust, is much more kind and nervous. Jax mauls him once his Vegan status is removed, after saying twice that he wanted him dead. In the game against the Big Tops, he covers first base. • Evil Orbsman: Instead of an evil version of Gangle, Caine places an evil version of Orbsman on the Evil Big Tops. He has tendencies to lash out in anger, more physically than verbally unlike the rest of the Evil Big Tops. In the game against the Big Tops, he is the catcher. • Bazooble (Evil Zooble): Zooble's opposite, who is shown to be sporadic and unintelligent, speaking in a "dumb" voice. In the game against the Big Tops, they are the pitcher.

Appearance: Ming appears to be a mannequin NPC created by Caine for the purpose of a joke. They look like a regular mannequin, but they are light blueish-grey colored. They wear a blue baseball cap, and have cartoonish googly eyes with black pupils. Personality: Ming is shown to be defensive and pedantic as they openly criticise Zooble and Caine for making incorrect assumptions, which they view as harmful to their reputation. Role: In They All Get Guns, Caine advises the characters against assuming as "it makes an ass out of you and Ming", to Zooble's confusion. Ming then arrives, introducing themself and complaining about what assumptions have done to their reputation. They then leave while Caine describes the adventure. At the end of the episode, Caine believes he has won the Favorite Character Award at his awards show, only to realize that he misread it and the true winner was Ming. Ming then comes on stage and chastises Caine for assuming he won the award.

Appearance: Abel (he/him) resembled a regular Mannequin, however his defining trait was that he drew a smiley face onto his head to differentiate himself from the other Mannequins. Personality: Abel presented himself to be rather cunning and observant, as shown by the way he knew how the other character act, such as knowing Jax collects keys or Caine commits to the bits he does. He also lamented not interacting before and felt genuine sorrow for those who abstracted. He was shown to be rather anxious, fearing Caine or Kinger messing with his plan to escape, and being desperate to encourage others to believe in him. When Pomni offered to buy him a beer in the real world, he didn't respond positively, instead only continuing to be adamant on her doing "the right thing." He implied he knew Kinger well, but was aversive about talking to him, implying some bad blood between the two. However, this whole persona turned out to be nothing but an act. Abel was revealed to be an NPC working with Caine the whole time, and behaved in a different manner after said reveal, and even went so far as to call his prior behavior a "performance". His real persona showed a much more upbeat and casual tone, and seemed amused about the adventure, and even asked Caine for a raise. He was, however, scared of being deleted as he screamed beforehand (he could have also been in pain). Biography: Abel was shown throughout the series as a standalone poseable mannequin that stalks the main cast, viewing them from afar within the circus. He later introduced himself to Pomni and the rest in "Beach Episode", telling them he was a human that was given the appearance of an NPC, and was overlooked by Caine. He claimed to know of a way out of the circus without Caine finding out, convincing them to trust him and bringing them to an isolated area to tell them, minus Kinger, of his plan to leave the circus: distract Caine, get into his office and find an Administrator console to turn off the game. He mentioned that he knew Kinger in the real world, and they both invented the Digital Circus together at a company labelled "C&A". However, Abel had noticed his coworkers being put into "stasis pods" and hooked into the Digital Circus. When he confronted the higher ups at C&A about this fact, he was forced into the Digital Circus himself. Once he told them of his plan, he introduced himself as his real name; Abel. While Jax distracted Caine, Abel brought Ragatha and Pomni with him to get Administrator access to Caine's office. While on the way, he claimed that he and Kinger had a falling out of some sort, and despite wanting to work with him again, he could not do so due to a "promise" he had made. He lamented over a locket with an unseen picture inside, before continuing on. Once inside, Abel grabbed enough administrator passes for everyone, except himself. Pomni and Ragatha were adamant on bringing Kinger along with them, but Abel was still against trusting him. Despite this, he agreed to let them bring Kinger along. Once the plan was complete, he helped them all arrive at Caine's office using a collision glitch, leaving himself behind. When Pomni offered to buy him a beer in the real world, Abel only responded by telling her to 'make the right choice'. The team succeeded in invading Caine's office, finding the console, but after a heated argument, Jax turned off the console, and Caine appeared, revealing the whole situation to just be another "adventure", and that everything, including Abel's story, was just "worldbuilding". To confirm this, Abel spawned in, then acting completely differently and laughing at the success of the adventure. Abel then asked Caine for a raise, however, Caine deleted him because he was becoming "too smart." The locket he held dropped to the floor, revealing to contain nothing more than a picture of a simple hot dog.

Appearance: The Sun (she/her) appears as a yellow cartoonish sun, with round orange eyes (featuring four eyelashes on each side), a mouth in the shape of a large smile, and an orange corona. The Sun is also the personification of Day in the Digital Circus world. Personality: She seems to have violent and anger-driven tendencies, as she threatened to kill Caine for not giving her any voice lines in the series while Moon gets two. Once Caine considered giving Sun more lines, she immediately calmed down. This could suggest she has a rather vain or narcissistic side to her, given the fact she was angry about not having any lines, even though Moon is only given two. However, her tone of voice suggests she is rather hyper and joyful, as she sounds happy and carefree, though it's more likely she is just perpetually manic. This could describe her personality traits as happy, manic, carefree, somewhat violent, needy, and short-tempered who has mood-swings and desires attention. Her jealousy towards Moon suggests she may not like her very much. In "Beach Episode", she says that Pomni looks mediocre and she will give her a sunburn, and also says that she hates her for no particular reason, Ragatha also says that the sun is usually like this, indicating that Caine made her to be annoying and hateful. Biography: "PILOT" (Episode 1): The Sun first appears in the PILOT episode with the Moon, where she can be seen in the introduction song. She is seen in the episode when Caine takes Pomni on a tour of the Grounds. "POMNI WAKE UP TIME TO GO ON AN ADVENTURE": The Sun appears again briefly where she tells Caine that she wants to kill him due to not getting any lines at all while the Moon gets two, though after Caine tells her that they can make her some dialogue, she decides to spare him. "Beach Episode" (Episode 7): The Sun has her largest role yet in this episode. She is first seen after the title card, where she exclaims "Wow, what a good day! WOW!" After Pomni is ejected from the changing booth, the Sun "compliments" her by telling her she looks mediocre, and to call her if Pomni ever wants a sunburn. Pomni replies that she doesn't want one, to which the Sun responds she "should have thought of that before I decided I hate you!" Ragatha then dissuades Pomni from interacting with the Sun further. Finally, a Shrimp NPC approaches Pomni and begins to speak before glitching. When Pomni looks back, the Sun has cooked the shrimp, and she shouts "You're welcome!" to the bewildered Pomni.

Appearance: The Moon (she/her) has a simple design which appears to be a baby blue waning crescent moon with slanted eyes and a mouth. Her eyes and mouth have a thick dark blue outline as well. The Moon is also the personification of Night in the Digital Circus world. Personality: Not much is known about the Moon's personality. She seems to be romantically interested in Caine, which appears to make him uncomfortable or embarrassed. She openly expresses her love to Caine due to him making her laugh, even though the feeling isn't mutual, which makes Caine label her as "frisky." Biography: "PILOT" (Episode 1): Moon first appears in the episode PILOT, during Caine's introduction song. She is seen later in the episode, when Caine is showing Pomni The Grounds. She says that she loves Caine, but Caine quickly leaves afterwards. "Untitled" (Episode 5): Moon reappears in the episode Untitled, during the Stargazing section. She is seen talking to Caine about how the members of the circus were happy with relaxing and having time to themselves. She tries to suggest something to Caine before he cuts her off.

The Amazing Digital Circus is a 3D, circus-themed VR video game serving as the primary setting. Run by the ringmaster Caine, it traps human minds within cartoon characters. The world is divided into distinct areas, including The Tent, Grounds, Void, and Cellar. Caine orchestrates various activities and adventures to maintain the sanity of the inhabitants, but their desire to escape often leads to insanity and abstraction. The game resides on a decrepit computer and is prone to physics glitches (i.e, objects clip into eachother very often or can get launched). This game is rated for all ages, so almost all explicit words or gestures get censored with a visual [%$!#] tag over the character's mouth.

The Tent, a central location within The Amazing Digital Circus, serves as the living quarters for the main characters. Resembling a typical circus tent but with a much larger interior, it features various unusual elements, including doors leading to voids, a boxing glove trap, the Gloink Queen's nest, a mysteriously appearing and disappearing exit door to a series of office rooms, and a hallway with access to the performers' rooms, each door having a icon of the performer it belongs to on it, if they're abstracted then it'll be crossed out with a red X.

"The Grounds" is a small island within The Amazing Digital Circus, serving as the main hub for activities. It features a digital amusement park, a water park, and The Tent, all set against a backdrop of snow-capped mountains and a day-night cycle represented by Moon and Sun. It's unknown if there are other activities on the grounds.

The Void is a vast expanse of blue, cube-filled space surrounding the Grounds of The Amazing Digital Circus, akin to what outer space is in the real world. Caine, unaware of its true nature, keeps performers confined to the Grounds and retrieves any who stray into the Void. The void could be a potential escape route for the trapped performers. Caine does not know what else is present in the void besides The Grounds. Thus, he keeps most of the performers safe in the Grounds, and will teleport any performer that somehow find their way into the Void back to The Tent.

The Cellar appears to be a bleak, unending, void-like space. The only light visible is from the hole opened by Caine, with a body of water being the only visible surface. It was used to dispose of Kaufmo after his abstraction in a bid to hinder any further interruptions of the Digital Circus. The Cellar appears to be underground, since abstracted Kaufmo entered The Cellar through a hole in the ground. It was apparent that a myriad of abstract entities were present within this cellar as well, heavily implying that the other crossed-out characters on the doors were abstracted and placed in The Cellar. It's unknown how old this cellar is, because when Kaufmo was captured by Caine post-abstraction, he reacted casually as if this was a normal occurrence to him. The Cellar's size is unknown; however, The Cellar was opened on the ground as a hole, which seems it is under the Circus. Abstracted Characters: • Kaufmo • Queenie • Ribbit • Dobby, and others

The Exit Door, a recurring element in The Amazing Digital Circus, is a red door leading to an unfinished office building created by Caine as a response to the performers' desire for escape. The door mysteriously teleports throughout the game, granting access to various office rooms decorated with typical furniture and paintings. One room notably recreates the space containing the computer running the game, suggesting a potential connection between the virtual world and the real world. The final door leads to the Void, hinting at a possible escape route. The exit door is a stereotypical red 'exit' door that appeared multiple times in the "PILOT". It leads to the interior of an office building. For unknown reasons, it frequently disintegrates and reappears in different locations repeatedly. Entering through the exit door leads to a series of office rooms, with another exit door leading to another room in the office. Each room has blue carpet, white walls, and besides typical office furniture and equipment such as computer cubicles, sofas, bookshelves, filing cabinets and storage shelves, the walls are also covered in paintings of more locations in the office. At one point in the office, one of the rooms is a recreation of the same room that contains the old dirty computer with a headset that the Amazing Digital Circus is being run on, but the computer screen is turned off. Interestingly, the lights of this room start to flicker rapidly after Pomni stares at the computer, as she starts screaming from the stress and runs into the exit door to the next room, which may suggest that avatars in the office can influence the office itself through their own emotions. Also to note in this same room is a painting from the circus located on a wall, where it usually would've been another painting of the office. Exiting from this room is a large room, with a large cyan painted logo on the walls of one of the rooms that reads "C&A". Right after this room, is a large hallway. Entering the exit door at the end of this hallway leads directly to The Void.

The Tent: The central hub of the digital circus, serving as both the main stage for performances and challenges and the living quarters for the main characters. The Grounds: A small island surrounding The Tent, containing various attractions like the digital amusement park and water park. Performers' Rooms: Each performer has their own individual room accessible from a hallway within The Tent. Kaufmo's Room: Kaufmo's personal space within The Tent, where his initial abstraction occurred. The Exit Door: A red door that appears and disappears, leading to a series of interconnected office rooms within an office building. The Office Building: Accessed through the Exit Door, it contains various rooms with office furniture and paintings, including a recreation of the room with the computer running the game. The Hallway with C&A Logo: A large hallway within the office building leading to the final exit door, which opens into the Void. The Void: The vast blue expanse surrounding the Grounds, filled with transparent cubes and lacking gravity. It serves as the outer boundary of the digital world and contains the computer running the game. The Cellar: A bleak, void-like space accessible only by Caine through a portal, serving as a prison for abstracted beings.

The Headset is a advanced VR headset that Pomni and the other humans have used to enter the Digital Circus. Not much is known about it yet, besides the fact that nobody has been able to remove it so far. There's a chip inside it that gives the individual who wears it "Awesome visuals," and "Lifelike audio". The Headset's base appears to be beige with a large notch-shaped cut on the bottom, with two smaller notch cuts beside it. There also appears to be a spot on the left side of the headset, shaped like a USB-C port, although it's unknown what it's actually there for. There seems to be two ridges running down the headset, with each beside the large notch in the center. In the very center of the headset (in between the ridges), there seems to be an icon printed on it. The icon is a rotated yellow triangle with presumably a monochromatic symbol inside. The headset has black straps that seem to include headphones built into them.

Biological needs, such as eating, sleeping, and aging, are not applicable within the game's mechanics. The inhabitants of The Amazing Digital Circus experience taste sensations without the necessity of consuming food for sustenance. The act of "eating" therefore serves solely as a form of sensory enjoyment.

The Amazing Digital Circus follows Pomni, a human who is suddenly transported into a bizarre digital world, becoming a jester character. She meets Caine, the AI ringmaster, and the other trapped human characters: Ragatha, Jax, Kinger, Zooble, and Gangle. They explain there is no escape, and that obsessing over it can lead to "abstraction"—a horrific fate shown by the monstrous, transformed Kaufmo. Caine starts a quest to remove invading Gloinks. During the chaos, Pomni discovers a mysterious exit door, which leads her into a surreal, maze-like office before depositing her at the dangerous Void. Caine rescues her, deals with the abstracted Kaufmo, and admits the exit was a lie. The episode ends with the group sharing a meal, while a traumatized Pomni struggles to accept her new, eternal reality. The final shot pulls back through the Void to an old computer, revealing the digital prison's origins.

In the second episode of *The Amazing Digital Circus*, Pomni has a nightmare about abstracting and falling into The Cellar. Ragatha greets her and introduces Caine's new adventure: retrieving stolen maple syrup from gummy crocodile bandits in the Candy Canyon Kingdom. The crew pursues the bandits' truck in a chaotic chase, leading to crashes, Ragatha getting impaled, and vehicles glitching under the map. Pomni ends up trapped below with the bandit leader, Gummigoo. She consoles him after he has an existential crisis upon discovering he's just a Non-Player Character (NPC). Above ground, the group meets The Fudge, a creature banished for eating mannequins. Jax manipulates it into helping them. Pomni and Gummigoo eventually glitch back to the surface, returning the syrup. Jax secretly lets The Fudge into the kingdom, causing chaos as they leave. Back at the Circus, Caine deletes Gummigoo, explaining he must distinguish between humans and NPCs. Devastated, Pomni is comforted by Ragatha, who invites her to Kaufmo's funeral. There, Pomni realizes that while trapped forever, she is not alone, finding some solace in her new friends.

In the third episode, the group experiments with holding their breath—each having a unique reaction—until Caine arrives. He announces a paranormal adventure at Mildenhall Manor to capture ghosts, but Zooble is missing again. Caine freezes in distress, then sends the others through a portal. Inside the mansion, they meet Ghostly, their guide, but Jax vacuums him up. Jax provokes Gangle, causing her comedy mask to be eaten by the “scary door.” Kinger and Pomni, accidentally dragged in, explore a series of creepy rooms, listening to tapes that tell the story of Baron Mildenhall, who hunted a supernatural creature. They are pursued by the creature's headless body and disembodied head, eventually finding a gun and descending into a nightmarish “hell.” Meanwhile, Caine forcibly brings Zooble to a therapy session. Zooble confesses they skip adventures due to body dysmorphia and dissatisfaction with their removable parts. When Zooble bluntly states that no one actually likes Caine's adventures, Caine has a glitching breakdown before resetting. In hell, Pomni panics until Kinger, in a rare moment of lucidity, comforts her. He shares a poignant memory of his abstracted wife, Queenie, explaining that holding onto good people and memories makes the Circus bearable. He encourages Pomni, calling her strong. They escape by holding their breath (causing their unique reactions) and reunite with Ragatha and Gangle, who peacefully took a “pacifist route” with the ghost of the Baron's wife. Back at the Circus, Caine is in therapy with Zooble acting as the therapist. The group returns, and Pomni, reflecting on her experience with Kinger, tells a surprised Jax that it "wasn't that bad." She watches Kinger retreat into his pillow fort, seemingly back to his insane self, but she carries the memory of their connection with a slight smile.

In the fourth episode, after Gangle's mask is broken again, Zooble gifts her a new plastic one. Caine forgets about the group's suggestion box but, after reading it, creates a non-horror adventure: working a shift at Spudsy's fast-food restaurant. Gangle is appointed shift manager. At the restaurant, chaos ensues. Jax misbehaves, Ragatha gets high on "Stupid Sauce," and Pomni is saddened to encounter Gummigoo, who no longer remembers her. Gangle tries to enforce rules but struggles under the pressure, her new mask cracking repeatedly. She forces Jax to watch a bizarre training video and becomes increasingly anxious as the day wears on. During a break, Gangle confides in Pomni that she finds it hard to trust others' sincerity. After closing, a depressed Gangle is hit by a truck but is pulled into Caine's office for a review. He gives the team a B+, and Gangle accepts the blame. Back at the Circus, a guilty Gangle isolates herself, but Zooble comforts her, affirming their friendship. The episode ends with the group reunited, Gangle having learned that her friends care for her despite her managerial failure.

In the fifth episode, after an underwater adventure, Caine pitches his own dark adventure ideas, which the group dislikes. Zooble reminds him of the suggestion box. Caine, frustrated, decides to run a "Lightning Round" of user-submitted adventures back-to-back with skip votes. The group experiences a series of rapid adventures: Poacher's Paradise: Jax's violent poaching game is quickly voted out, and he's made vegan for the day. President Pomni: In Jax's chaotic scenario, Pomni is a panicking president with a bomb threat. It ends abruptly when Gangle's character blows up. High School Anime: Gangle's slice-of-life anime adventure is skipped after Jax threatens to reveal an embarrassing secret about her. Stargazing: A calm break where Jax surprisingly shows concern for Gangle's happiness. A tense moment arises when Ragatha implies Jax has no friends, angering him. The Bar: In Zooble's 1930s bar setting, the characters share pieces of their past lives over drinks, revealing personal details and hinting at Ragatha's difficult family life. Jax is revealed to have a fear of corn. Softball: Ragatha's suggestion devolves into chaos. The team plays against "evil" versions of themselves. Jax is forced into a maid dress via vote, and tensions flare between Ragatha and Jax over his influence on Pomni. Ragatha briefly snaps at him. They win by default. Back at the Circus, Caine claims victory, but opinions are mixed. Jax and Pomni walk off together, Zooble, Kinger, and Gangle go another way, leaving Ragatha alone and dejected. The episode ends with a mysterious mannequin secretly observing them.

In the sixth episode, Caine organizes the "Caine Leagues," a team-based battle royale, ahead of an in-universe "Favorite Character Award" show. Zooble tries to hide to avoid it, but Caine forces everyone to participate. Teams form: Zooble with Gangle (Team Unmasked), Ragatha with Kinger (Team Pew Pew), and Jax with Pomni (Team Bad Guys). Ragatha is upset, feeling she and Pomni are drifting apart. During the chaotic game, characters are eliminated one by one: Ragatha is killed by Jax after confronting him about "corrupting" Pomni. In the "Loser Corner," she confides in Kinger her fear of failing everyone. Kinger comforts her, advising that sometimes giving space is the right thing. Kinger is eliminated by Jax and Pomni. Gangle, after a pep talk from Zooble about self-acceptance, gets her wish to fire a Tommy gun maniacally but is sniped by Pomni. Zooble puts up a fierce last stand but is finally defeated by Jax and Pomni. After winning, Pomni celebrates, but Jax coldly rejects their friendship, claiming he only used her for entertainment and doesn't care about anyone. A devastated Pomni attacks him in a rage, and Jax, in a rare moment of raw anger, admits he enjoys causing pain and tells her to stop looking for depth in him. Later, at the awards show, Pomni and Ragatha share a tentative, reconciliatory smile. Jax, sitting alone, has a panic attack in the bathroom before returning to his usual smirking persona. The "Favorite Character Award" is mistakenly announced for Caine but actually goes to Ming, a joke NPC. Post-credits, Caine checks the ballots and is disturbed to find he received zero votes. The episode explores fractured relationships, with Ragatha and Pomni beginning to mend theirs, while Jax and Pomni's dynamic shatters, revealing Jax's deeply cynical and self-isolating nature.
