Chapter 0: Meet the team

Caleb: picks up still in bed Hel-

Scout: Come on Caleb, where are you?!

Caleb: Crap frantically gets ready

Leo: We don’t have all day

Caleb: I can't find my skateboard!

Leo: Hurry up! We’ve been waiting here for an hour!

Caleb: Found it, I’m on my way. Hangs up

Arron: He always does stuff like this!

Mark: Calm down we still have the entire day

Arron: I'll “calm down” when he gets here and stops wasting our time!

10 minutes later:

Caleb: Im her- failed kick flip resulting in him on the floor and the board hitting him in the head

Everyone else: Oof

Arron: Thats what you get for wasting our time

Mark: Come on, before the courtyard closes

The group plays BasketBall while Mark sits on the sidelines playing music

Scout: Kobe! Hits the rim, and the ball bounces across the street and into the woods. Aww man, let's go get it.

Arron: No, you go get it.

Scout: Whatever goes to get it and runs back with it 30 seconds later. Run!

A wave of small bug-like things follow behind him before they start to run around the city, taking over things like cars and trash cans and wooden planks and water bottles, giving them weird abilities, and terrorizing people!

Andreas: Hello, Year 2010! Walks out of the forest, Tanzarahan slung over his shoulder. Your new leader has arrived!

Chapter 1: Warriorz Arrive, Terror Follows

in the future but like 10 seconds ago(so like 10 seconds before the swarm)

Dexter: No one has even used this thing before are we sure it’ll even-... Oh

Andreas: Your best not to question me again..

Dexter: Yes of course but why are we even in the 21st century at all?

Andreas: Why not?

Dexter: I'm gonna pretend you didn't just say that…

Lucas: Is this supposed to be Texas? It looks so…Rural.. and dry

Dexter: Yeah most of the south was like this before our time

Diana: Boss what do you want to do about them? gestures towards the kids as they start running

Andreas: …Seize them

Diana: Hell yeah!

Dexter: More work?

Lucas: Relax it wont kill you

Dexter: I know but li-gets grabbed by his sister

5 Minutes of running later:

Arron: What did you do?

Scout: Nothing!

Arron: You sure? Because this doesn't look like noth-!

Mark: Stop arguing! We need to get help.

Caleb: Uhhhh g-guys?

Arron: What?!

Caleb: Shows them his “contaminated” skateboard

Mark: Is that thing friendly?

Leo: So cool!

Arron: No! CJ and his freaky magic skateboard is not “cool”

Mark: G-g-guys?

Leo Scout Aaron: Wha-

Jannet: Hello

Scout: Run!

The group runs, but Arron falls and gets caught

Arron: Help!

Mark: Arron! stops

Scout: We have to go grabs Leo

Arron: HELP!

Andreas: Don't worry kid

Arron: You wont kill me?

Andreas: Kill you? Why would I do that? I'm not here to kill people, I'm here to help.

Leo: I have an idea… its a stupid one.. but its so stupid it might just work

Scout: Hit me

Leo: We use that.. “stuff” to make really cool weapons with cool powers so we can protect ourselves from those really cool looking bad guys

Mark: At least you were honest about the stupid part..

Leo: Hey!

Scout: Now, now he might be onto something.. Maybe its one of those "its so stupid it might work" kind of plans

Caleb: I'm down, I mean look at this thing… mesmerized by the cool patterns

Mark: I guess it wont hurt to try.. cautiously grabs some of the nanomite things and shoves them into his boombox transforming it instantly. It better still play music..

Caleb: What kind of weapon is a boombox?

Mark: What kind of weapon is a skateboard?

Caleb: I can… swing it at people..

Mark: Whatever.. Anyway im off to get some cassettes from home brb

5 minutes later:

Leo: Making a slingshot out of wood and a rubber band After we use that stuff on it this thing will get better right?

Scout: It should.. What are you making?

Leo: A slingshot, you?

Scout: Just made this awesome sword.

Leo: How the hell?

Anna: Impressive

Scout: Than-....turns around slowly

Scout, Leo, Caleb: AH WHO ARE YOU?!

Anna: I could ask you the same thing

Caleb: That's not.. that's not how that works

Scout: Look I’m Scout that’s Leo

Leo: “finishes” his slingshot Sup

Scout: That's Caleb

Caleb: Hi

Scout: And Mark will be back later

Leo: Where is he anyway?

Caleb: He went to buy music, some theory, or something

Anna: Well, I’m Anna

Scout: Nice to meet you, Anna

Caleb: Do we always introduce ourselves like this?

Leo: Look, let's get back to what's important. We need a place to lay low for now, till things settle down out here.

Caleb: I suggest we go to Randol Mill Park, it's pretty far from here and near the Mall

Scout: We have the police station, the mall and school, so why would we go to the skate park?

Caleb: You wanna explain how you caused this mess and used why we are using the enemies stuff?

Scout: No

Leo: Then we’re going to Randol Mill Park

Caleb:

YES!

Everyone: everyone else gets pushed into the walls of the current panel from the speech bubble….

Caleb: I like skating, ok

Mark: I’m back

Anna: Hello

Mark: Huh? Who are you?

Anna: I’m Anna

Chapter 2: New weapons, and new “heroes”

45 Minutes later

Mark: Did I miss something?

Caleb: What do you mean?

Mark: Why are we at the park?

Leo: It's gonna be our hideout

Mark: That's cool! Gets a call

Scout: Hey, I’m at the mall right now. I got some stuff for our base. Anything I need in particular?

Leo: Takes the phone. Make sure you get lots of food and drinks for us, who knows how long till the mall gets attacked and everything is inaccessible

Scout: And of course that's all you think about

Leo: I just prefer the finer things in life, Like a barbeque pool party with multiple tables all dedicated to…delicious.. foooood~

Anna: He isn't exactly wrong

Mark: Hey? Earth to Leo

Leo: Eh?

Mark: You have a problem

Leo: I just enjoy the finer things in life

Caleb: I’m tired of waiting starts doing what all skaters do at a skate park..Skate

Nightfall

Scout: I just dropped 300 dollars I'm never getting back..

Mark: Where did you even get 300 dollars?

Scout: …That my dad is never getting back

Leo: Yeah but your dads an actor I bet he gets a bunch of Moolah

Scout: He hasn't been in a movie in 5 years…

Leo: Oh yeah you're right…

5 hours of “arts and crafts” later

Leo: Honestly, this place looks nice

Scout: How’s getting in contact with our parents going?

Mark: No one's answering their phones..

Anna: We can try again tomorrow but it's getting late.. so how about we rest now and worry later?

Scout: Right..

Caleb: Uhhh, guys

Mark: Yeah?

Caleb: Come and check the news

Scout: Waking up The news? Who the hell watches the news?

Anna: I mean.. I do..

Leo: Coming!

Dominic: Things don't look great for us right now

Hank: Yeah these guys are literally taking over Texas

Dominic: Why here? After watching so many movies you'd think this stuff would start in Chicago or New York… but on completely related News

Hank: Whales have been mistaking what scientists are calling the “metallic plague” for krill and are eating it, causing them to increase exponentially in size… and become extremely hostile. Please stay away from the ocean for the time being, as our navy commences project “nuke the whales”

Anna: NO! Why the whales?!

Leo: This is bad

Scout: Poor whales…

Hank: News just in from our lovely reporter Lauren Lane, they're attacking our international airport

Dominic: They appeared just yesterday and are already back?

Leo: Should we do something?

Scout: Obviously!

Anna: Are you sure you're ready for this? Maybe you kids should sit this one out

Leo: And let them win? No way!

Scout: How would we even get there

Mark: Uber…?

everyone looks at each other considering the option

Dexter: Guys! I see people coming

Arron: Ooh in that car?

Dexter: Yeah

Lucas: Weird, and I thought I could relax today

Dexter: I’ll get my sister

Jack: blocks with their katana

Diana: continues swinging her scythe

Jack: kicks her into a nearby wall

Diana: Die already! Swings crazily

Jack: Dodges Surrender now or face my wra-!

waypoint(like a portal) appears

Dexter: Diana! What the hell are you doing?

Diana: I’m busy

Dexter: Who's this your boyfriend?

Diana: Don't even..

Dexter: Come on

Diana leaves

Jack: Wha- Get back here! follows

Henry: So why do you kids need to go to the airport, especially now?

Scout: We can't let them attack freely

Henry: So you're trying to stop them?

Leo: Of course we are!

Henry: You got a death wish?

Mark: Nah we got it

Henry: As long as im getting paid speeds up

Anna: Have you no morals?!

Henry: Nope id do almost anything for some cash besides you could have stopped them yourself

Anna: You don't think I tried that?

Leo: So we go in and I'll stay back and snipe people while Scout and Caleb go in head first and Mark stays near to stun them with his music blasting

Mark: Yep

Henry: Quite the team you got yourself huh

Scout: Yeah and I wouldn't want it any other way

Anna: I'll give you double what they're paying you to turn around!

Henry: $550 times 2 so $1100?

Anna: Where are you getting 550 from?!

Leo: Mark had an allowance of like 300 dollars a week

Anna: ….I give up

Jack: gets hit with a shuriken

Arron: Yes! hiding on top a communication tower

Jack: throws a roped kunai at him and pulls him down from the tower

Arron: Huh…? A-AHHHHHH falls into a bush

Diana: Why are you still here?! starts swinging at him

Jack: blocks most of it

Leo: uses his sling shot to hit the scythe out of its original path

Diana: Misses You brat I'll kill you!

Chapter 3: Villains attack but our new heroez save the day

Leo: You’ll have to catch me first! Runs

Diana: face red in anger GET OVER HERE! runs after him with her scythe

Dexter: Boss said kill anyone who tries to interfere

Arron: Do we really need to…you know kill them?

Lucas: Disobeying Andreas isn't a good idea shooting his revolver at caleb who keeps dodging

Arron: I know but those guys are kinda my friends

Lucas: Well how sad loads his revolver

Jack: Stop swinging so wildly and more like this attacks Dexter See

Scout: Like this? Continues swinging crazily

Jack: You're gonna get all of you killed!!

Scout: starts using more naturally angled movement

Dexter: Am I just a training dummy to you? kicks him

Arron: Come on, a friend wouldn't hurt a friend’s… friends.. right?

Lucas: Is that so?

Arron: Yes it is so

Diana: yelling at him at him Stupid child get down here

Leo: climbing up a communications tower Gotta catch me first

Lucas: Funny i don't have that problem shoots directly at Leo

Arron: NO! shoves lucas

Lucas: If that doesn't hit him i'm shooting you next

Leo: Your gonna have to try harder if you wanna catch- gets shot in his leg

Leo: falls off the tower

Scout, Caleb, Mark, Anna: LEO!!

Caleb: skateboards to get close enough to catch him and does so successfully Dude you ok?

Leo: Yeah I think so

Dexter: Nice shot!

Lucas: I couldn't kill him

Dexter: You have a heart?

Lucas: No it's the “new recruit” he’s a distraction

Dexter: Is Jan done gathering the materials yet?

Jannet: Yeah!

Lucas: Good let's get out of here and start somewhere else

Dexter: Yeah portals all the villains to the (place holder base name)

Caleb: They just… left?

Anna: Wrapping up Leo's leg Does it hurt?

Leo: Not really

Scout: …..

Mark: Yo Scout you good?

Scout: Oh! Y-yeah

Jack: You kids aren't as ready for this as you thought are you? Like seriously middle schoolers trying to save the world your lucky you arent dead right now!

Anna: Calm dow-

Jack: And you what are you doing convincing literal children to do stuff like this!

Anna: I tried to stop them…

Leo: Hey leave her alone!

Jack: Look kid im gonna bring you all somewhere that’ll keep you safe stay there and let people who are capable handle th-

Scout: Then train me!!

Silence

Jack: What?

Scout: Train me I want to learn how to fight just like you so i can keep everyone safe!

Jack: Not happening!

Scout: Why not?!

Jack: Because I’m not going to be responsible for a child's death

Scout: But-

Jack: No buts! Come on I don't got all day

The kids: NO W-

Anna: No just lets go

back in the car

Henry: looks in the rearview mirror to see complete sadness Where are we going again?

Jack: Texas stadium

Henry: Wait, who the hell are you?

Jack: Doesn't matter

Henry: muttering Random guy gets into my car telling me where to go

Outside of the stadium

Anna: You kids be good ok

Kids: Ok

Jack: Come on we have work to do

Anna: Coming! Bye

Kids: hug her

Anna: laughs softly Come on I have to go

Kids: Bye!

Sarah: Don't worry ma’am they'll be safe here

Jack: One more thing! Give me your weapons

Scout: …

Jack: Now

Leo and Scout: hand them over

Jack: All of you

Mark: M-my boom box hands it over

Caleb: Awww gives up the skateboard

Ben: Come on lets get you to the housing area

Sarah: Right this way

Leo: Gary?!

Gary: If it isn't my favorite classmates… Wait where's Aaron?

Scout: He got taken

Caleb: He may even be gone for good

Scout: But no matter what we will take down that guy..for good

Chapter 4: What happens next

Caleb: Worst. Summer. Ever.

Gary: It's not like we’re gonna go back to school after the seasons over

Caleb: That's not what I meant and you know it

Scout: On the bright side the option to do arts and crafts makes working on new weapons easy

Leo can be seen shooting at a tree

Caleb: Making a skateboard isn’t that easy

Mark: Hey guys rubbing eyes What's up?

Leo: Oh hey its sleeping beauty

Mark: Hey.. Lou..?

Scout: Yeah?

Mark: Any clue on how to get out of here yet?

Scout: Not yet but im working on it

Gary: What’s your plan if you get out of here?

Scout: Our plan? I guess either looking for our parents or finding Anna Henry and Jack

Andreas: My loyal #2 i hope you'll be able to begin working on the ship soon

Mark: Well that's simple really we just have to use the drainage gates

Scout: Aren't those things super tiny?

Leo: We could crawl

Caleb: You want to crawl through the sewer system?!

Scout: Well if it's our only option.. We should at least try

Caleb: Ew ew ew ew ew ew no not happening im not getting dragged through the sewer to end up covered in waste on Randol Mill Road

Mark: So I guess you want to stay here then?

Time: 19:50

Scout: Mark the pipes split here where do we go?

Mark: uhhhh… middle left?

Scout: All right th-peaks into the pipe to see a huge drop L-Lets not go this wa-

Leo: EEEK! pushes forward causing everyone(but Caleb who was behind him) to fall into the pipe

Caleb: Ah! Are you ok?!

Scout: sputters Yeah

Mark: swims up from the sewage water Leo what the hell?!

Leo: Sorry.. I saw a rat

Caleb: Uh… I'm coming down I guess… jumps

Chapter 5: Unexpected friends unwanted enemies

Scout: You do that im gonna find somewhere to wash off and some new clothes

Caleb: I'm coming with you!

Mark: Well… walks over too leo its smarter that we dont split up

Leo: Yeah… right

Leo rummages through auntie Anne's pantries but everything is expired

Leo: How lame…

Mark: Look a Blockbuster! Come on!

Leo: Com- looks to his right and sees a huddle of nano whatever Oooh picks them up and offers his slingshot for them to fuse with

Mark: Lucky you

Meanwhile with the other 2

Caleb: Look skate shop

Scout: We should prioritize finding food before-..

Scout: And he's already gone

Caleb: You gotta understand it's not just about swag, it's about having a weapon

Scout: I mean skate gear is pretty protective

Guy1: You heard something?

Girl1: Yeah I did…

Scout: Crap ducks behind a shelf pulling caleb with him

Girl1: Hey losers! We claimed this spot first so you better scram or prepare to get rekt

Guy2: notices them Oh look its just a gang of soy boys

Caleb: What did you call us?! I'll have you know we could kick your asses you hear me!!?

Scout: Please ignore him we were just lea-

Guy1: You hear that Ash? These kids could kick our asses aren’t just soooo scared

Ashley: As if

Caleb: Uh w-well we totally could…

they pull out their weapons immediately

Scout: And that guy has a gun… great job C

Caleb: frozen in fear

Scout: I apologize for the misundersta-

Jordan: Nah i think we understand perfectly fine

scout and Caleb run for it

Sophia: Don't let them escape!

Jordan: starts shooting at them(but shot guns are short ranged)

Scout: FASTER DUDE

Caleb: I'm kicking as fast as I- they fall

Scout: looks up at them from the floor Stop… please

Jordan: Why should we?

Jack: Because scum like you shouldn't be allowed to roam free even if were in an apocalypse

Jordan: Oh are you here to play hero? Well one more step and they're dead

Jack: …takes a miniscule step forward

Jordan: Back off!

Jack: and another

Ashley: stands right behind him chainsaw raised

Jack: They're just kids-

Sophia: You think we care?

Jack: Fine then elbows Ashley Run!

Scout: moves immediately grabbing caleb and narrowly avoiding getting shot

Jack: throws her at Jordan before narrowly blocking Sophia's swing

Jordan: misses his shot at the kids due to her crashing into him

Eric: swings from above but hits Sophia instead accidentally knocking her out What the-

Jack: elbows him in the face

Ted: ….Im just gonna sit this one out

Jack: chases after them

Mark: Can you believe this place still sells cassette tapes after this long?!

Leo: Huh? Uhh not really boomboxes haven’t been popular in years

Mark: Still cool… Well lets get out of he-...

Arron: You shouldn't be here…

Leo: Arron? Y-your alive?! Dude long time no se- runs up to high five him but gets a shuriken thrown at him instead

Mark: Arron what the hell are you doing?

Arron: looks away

Jannet: Aww It's only you 2? I was really hoping to be the one to kill the other kid blond one you know

Mark: Who are you and what do you want?

Jannet: walks up to him blade in hand You're not exactly in a position to ask questions right now

Leo: Mark come on lets grab Arron and ru-

Lucas: Not happening reloads his revolver I missed last time and don't plan too aga-*gets hit in the face with a movie titled “100 Ways to Interrupt a Gunfight”

Anna: Back off.. All of you

Jannet: Aww come on babe we were just about to get to the fun part

Anna: Run

the kids comply running through the door frame where Arron once stood

Jannet: immediately chases them

Anna: gets into a fighting position staff in hand

Lucas: walks off to find Arron

Anna: stunned Wha- Thats it?

he's gone

Jannet: Come back here!

Mark: Leo hurry up!

Leo: I cant shoot her shes moving around too much

Mark: …Then we fight head on

Leo: Are you crazy?!?!?!

Mark: stops running and faces her

Leo: follows

Jannet: Finally is about to swing before getting hit in the neck with a thunk

Anna: Are you kids alright

Leo & Mark: ANNA! hug her

Anna: smiles I love you guys but you smell absolutely horrendous

Scout: Leo, Mark!

Caleb: Your all ok-

Scout and Caleb: Anna!? join the hug

Anna: Glad to see your all ok… but you really do smell bad

Jack: we should get out of here smirking to restrain laughter

they start walking towards henrys car

Scout: It was awesome kind of we were like at gunpoint and Jack came and they were like “come closer and we shoot the kids” And he like took a step and they freaked out and we ran and he kicked their asses so badly

Caleb: You had to see it for yourself!!

Anna: They said take a step and they'd shoot and he stepped forward anyway?

Caleb: Yeah..

Anna: Do you mind if me and Jack talk for a minute you kids wait in the car

Kids: Ok

Jack: eyes widen slightly

Henry: W-wait why are you four here? Shouldn't you be at the stadium? AND WHY DO YOU SMELL LIKE THAT?!

Scout: That's a story for another time…

Anna: Jack… what the heck were you thinking?!

Jack: I brought them out safely, didn’t I?

Anna: Safely? You stepped into gunfire like it was nothing! They could’ve killed you—or them

Jack: …

Anna: Don’t do that again. I’m serious. Don’t ever do that again.

Jack: I had it under control.

Anna: No—you got lucky. There’s a difference!

Jack: …

Anna: We have pagers, Jack! You send a message, you wait, you don’t just—just walk into a firing line like you’re invincible!

Jack: …Ok.

Anna: No “ok.” I mean it. Think first. Not after. Before.

Jack: …Yeah.

Anna: Good. Because I’m not explaining to Henry why you didn’t come back next time.

Jack: …(How can someone so small be that feisty?)

Chapter 6: Hesitated Again

Arron: standing on the roof solemnly

Lucas: The hell's your problem?

Arron: I chickened out is all…

Lucas: Again?

Arron: Yeah

Lucas: The boss is gonna be pretty mad with you when he finds out

Arron: Then I’ll no longer be useful and he’ll kill me or whatever?

Lucas: On the contrary actually

Arron: …What?

Lucas: He's not that merciful

Arron: D-Death is the merciful approach?

Lucas: Well… Unless you want a tiny chip in your brain that'll go boom if your ever out of line

Arron: Oh..

Jannet: Heya guys what are you talking about?

Lucas: Nothing

Jannet: Aww how boring.. Your no fun Lucas always so stuck up and stubborn

Arron: Wait… we still haven't grabbed everything we came for
