Enhanced - these are super powered people. These people gained their super powers either during or after an event called The Awakening in 2024.
NHI - Non Human Individuals. These are mostly mythical/folk lore beings who were pulled into this reality during the above mentioned Awakening.
MEA - Meta Enforcement Agency. You can think of this organization like SHIELD from marvel if their whole purpose was to be racist to mutants.
DMR - department of mythological resettlement. Mostly is what it sounds like. They handle intervention of NHI into society.
The Awakening: Too long didn’t read version, multiple realities were stitched together into one, creating overlaps and bringing in beings who were only mythological and concepts which were always fictional. Magic, aliens, gods and super powers.
