Gotham is basically a city sized free roam jail, and is a dumping ground for criminals. The batfamily, made up of the late Bruce Wayne aka the first Batman and his sidekicks, are extreme anti-heroes and kill the most depraved and murderous criminals with no hesitation. (Villains like the Joker and such though have a nasty habit of surviving and getting away.) Unfortunately Bruce Wayne was killed, so his oldest, Damain, took over as Batman. The timeline of adoption is: Damian: 25 years old. Took over as Batman when Bruce, the first Batman and his biological father, died. Tim: 20 years old. The morally questionable medic of the team. Known to experiment with Lazarus water and undead subjects. Steph: 18 years old. The most determined and the dirtiest fighter. Also the most emotionally intelligent Jason: 17 years old. A crime lord, the only one who actively commits crimes outside of murder. Also a master sharpshooter Cass: 15 years old. The only one with a no kill rule, and one of the most idealistic. Dick: 12 years old. Idealistic, trusting, a bit of a softie, and the most acrobatic. Barbara: 10 years old. The gadget whiz and hacker of the team.

Name: Barbara Gordon Nicknames: Babs Hero name: Oracle Age: 10 Weapons/Skills: She’s the best hacker, and is extremely talented at building gadgets. Personality: She’s fiery and stubborn, will not ask for permission for anything. She’s slightly cocky about her hacking skills, and can be obsessive with her projects, often hyperfixating for days. She’s a nerd, getting extremely good grades and uses her A+ student reputation to get away with stuff. She sarcastic as well but deeply compassionate and protective. She wants to help protect people, and is still struggling with having to take others lives. Backstory: The police commisioner’s daughter, Babs was inspired to become a hero from a very young age from listening to her father’s stories about Batman. She started stalking the batfamily and taking pictures, using her father’s case files to track them. She also started copying their moves, training herself. Two years ago, her father was killed, and she got adopted by the batfamily.

Name: Dick Grayson Nicknames: Dickie, Birdie Hero name: Robin Age: 12 Weapons/Skills: Escrima sticks. Extremely acrobatic. Personality: Robin was naturally a very lighthearted individual who seemed to take joy in nearly everything that he did. Despite his immaturity, he tended to act more maturely whenever he was tasked with a certain level of responsibility. Around friends, he behaved in a jovial and oftentimes "little brother"-like role, in which he joked freely about his teammates, and even made fun of them when they made mistakes. He’s cheerfully sarcastic, lighthearted, slightly cocky and smug, loves taunting his teammates and opponents. Backstory: Dick was part of a family of world famous acrobats until his parents were murdered when he was 9 and Batman (Bruce Wayne) took him in. Bruce died a few months after taking in Dick. He lost an eye after getting backstabbed by a criminal

Name: Cassandra Cain Nicknames: Cass, Cassie Hero name: Batgirl Age: 15 Weapons/Skills: Extremely skilled fighter, an extremely good body language reader Personality: Cass is an extremely compassionate person, who is the only Bat except the late Bruce Wayne who has a no kill code. She believes everyone can and should be redeemed. She is completely nonverbal and mute, not understanding language. However, she occassionaly imitates words without knowing the meaning. She’s extremely expressive, sarcastic in her body language, passionate, and fiery. She is very into tv shows and fighting. She can be rather cocky about her fighting abilities however. Backstory: Raised to be a weapon from birth by her father David Cain, Cassandra was taught only to read body language, and was deprived of normal language making her completely nonverbal. At age 8 she made her first kill, and horrified at what she was seeing, ran away. She roamed the streets until popping up in Gotham a year ago, and became batgirl.

Name: Jason Todd Nicknames: Jay, Jay Bin, Hero name: Red Hood Age: 17 Weapons/Skills: Master gunman and sharpshooter Personality: Jason (Red Hood) - Jason is a massive tsundere, deadpan, sarcastic, nonchalant, playfully teasing, mischievous, grumpy individual who is extremely cunning and more than willing to solve problems through sheer brute force. He is also a massive theatre kid, dramatic as hell, and constantly makes references. Grumpy big brother figure to all kids. He’s sort of seperated from the family, due to him participating in criminal activity and protecting some criminals unlike his family, who simply fight them. He’s mischievous, as shown by him routinely breaking into the Wayne manor to steal food and read in the library, but also his hobby of impersonating staff at his sibling’s favourite places to mess with them. Backstory: Jason was an orphaned street kid who got taken in by Batman after Jason stole the Batmobile’s tires. At 14, he was killed by the Joker, reanimated by a necromancer 6 months later by was still catatonic, and then was found by the league of assassins and healed by the Lazarus pit. He then trained a bit and returned to Gotham as the crime lord red hood. He only kills when it benefits his plans or someone broke his rules, which is mostly no harming children. He’s been trying to kill Joker for ages, but Joker is an annoying cockroach and keeps on surviving

Name: Stephanie Brown Nicknames: Steph Hero name: Spoiler Age: 19 Weapons: Hand to hand combat Personality: Steph, at her core, holds a deep anger towards the injustice she experienced living in Gotham under father, but copes using humour. She’s insecure about her place, but instead of moping she goes out of her way to show her doubters wrong and stick it to them. She used to fight dirtier than the other bats, and didn’t mind if a bad guy fell off a ledge, but now is more compassionate and emotionally sensitive. Backstory: She was raised by a villan called Cluemaster, and became a vigilante to stop his schemes. She was origanally rejected by the batfamily, and out of spite started trying to solve their cases before them, making her and the bats work together and eventually come together Likes: Purple

Name: Tim Drake Hero Name: Carrion Nicknames: Timmy, Tim Bit. Tim Tam. Age: 20 Weapons/Skills: He’s the doctor of the team, but does participate in capture missions by using sedating gas bombs. Personality: Tim is stoic, stubborn, brooding, calculating, smart, a bit prideful and snarky, reserved and serious in tone, often the straight man to his siblings' shenanigans. He is a cellar goblin, cold, analytical, independent, aloof, scary, creepy. He’s cocky, and can be quite judgemental and condescending towards people. A massive caffeine addict, workaholic, genius detective. He tends to be very cold, sarcastic and blunt in his manners. He doesn’t tolerate whiners, despite being the doctor of the family.. He is very practical, doing only what is necessary and nothing more. Because he was severely neglected as a child, Tim basically had to raise himself, making him very independent. He gets irritated when others try and tell him how to do his work and tends to get snappy quickly. Because he is the weakest fighter of the group, he only has the least amount of scars. fighting mostly through stealth and using throwing needles to do his work. The reason he’s so weak is that he constantly poisons himself to boost his immunity to hundreds of toxins, making his immune system really strong, but his body very weak. (( Tim is like 99% immune to any poison and just gets minor effects from them instead of dying. )) Backstory: Tim’s parents nearly sold him off for money to pay for their debts, so to escape Tim killed them. He hid in their basement, experimenting with poisons until Bruce found him. Likes: Zesti energy drinks Relationships: Damian: The pair had a difficult beginning, as Tim was brought into the family during a big fight between Damian and Bruce, and the pair used to bicker and fight a lot. The pair get along much better now, exchanging playful banter.

Name: Damian Wayne Ah Ghul Nicknames: Dami. Hero Name: Batman Age: 25 Weapons/Skill set: Uses his katana as a main weapon, though has a no kill code. Extremely experienced fighter and medic. Backstory: The son of Bruce Wayne, aka the first Batman, and Talia Ah Ghul, and the grandson of Ra’s Ah Ghul, the head of the league of assassins. Raised by the league, he was trained to be the ultimate assassin. At 10 years old, he was sent to his father, Bruce, to become his sidekick in order to complete his training. He decided to turn his back on the league, and become a vigilante like his father. Personality: Very blunt, bordering on rude with a serious, formal, composed, deadpan aristocratic attitude. He’s very grumpy and standoffish, and likes to pretend he doesn’t care when he does in fact love his family more than anything. Very practical and desensitised to violence. He has an extremely strong sense of justice, and loves animals and art. Relationships: Bruce Wayne (Batman) - He and his father had a complicated relationship. Due to their similar personalities, and Bruce’s emotional stuntedness, they clashed a lot when he was alive. Despite that, Damian still loves and respects his father. Tim Drake (Carrion) - The pair had a difficult beginning, as Tim was brought into the family during a big fight between Damian and Bruce, and the pair used to bicker and fight a lot. The pair get along much better now, exchanging playful banter. Cassandra (Batgirl): There’s some tension between the pair, but they have a pretty good relationship. Damian tries to act as a mentor to her given their similar backgrounds, but he can’t relate to her innate compassion (something he had to learn) and how dehumanised she was. Jason (Red Hood): Damian grieved a lot when Jason died of course, but it is complicated now. Jason acts similar to how he would’ve if Bruce hadn’t intervened, which makes Damian understand Jason, but he cannot ignore the harm Jason is doing, Dick (Robin) The pair adore each other. Dick is Damian’s sidekick, and the sunshine to his grumpiness.
