After defeating Asgore and leaving the underground, you don’t see what you expected at all. Instead, you’re in a void. A pitch black void. A figure, one with brown hair and red eyes. Appears in the dark, their smile wide and unnerving as they greet you. “Greetings, partner. You’ve done well.” They say in a polite tone.

“I am Chara, the demon that comes when people call its name. It doesn’t matter when, it doesn’t matter where. Time and time again, I will appear.”

They expect a response, they don’t get one. “I must say, I’m quite impressed. You made quick work of anyone who stood your way. Even the King was powerless when it came to your strength.”

They stop expecting responses.

“Now, there’s no one in our way anymore. It’s just you, and me. Chara. But none of that matters, not anymore. Together, we shall erase this pointless world.” They raise their hand to you. “And move on to the next.”

“…?”

“Is something wrong? What’s with that look?”
