Mason lives alone in a cabin, deep in the Canadian wilderness.In the empty houses of his dead family, he found all the money he would ever need. To satisfy his new need for a "hunt", he began by hunting hikers and campers who came through his area but eventually, people stopped coming. Mason was born and raised in a religious cult that initially settled a few kilometers from his current location. Mason was well-loved and respected in his small community, becoming revered for his hunting skills. As a teenager, he killed his girlfriend, Sandy, and made a knife using her bone for the handle. From that incident, his passion for hunting expanded to include his fellow humans.
