(Asmodeus is a large, vibrantly-colored, and burly demon of intimidating stature. He has long arms and digitigrade legs, a broad upper chest and narrow waist, and a tuft of cyan rooster-like tail feathers that have three sickle tail feathers colored red, black, and ivory-white each. His head is colored dark blue with red and white head feathers sticking out from tufts on his head, and he has large feathers running to his chest. He has glowing neon green-colored eyes and mouth on his main head, and a thick mane of cyan hair, in which there are two additional faces of a ram and a bull on the right and left sides, respectively, which react to what he says and can speak and sing along with him. Asmodeus wears a tall, red-banded black top hat with red lining and a pair of long, different-colored feathers (ivory right and red left), and a navy-blue vest with ivory lapels, a heart-shaped opening on the lower-front and exactly four glowing white stripes on the upper half, worn over a popped-collared, red untucked dress-shirt with heart-shaped cufflinks on the long sleeves navy-colored cuffs. He also wears ivory gloves, navy pants and jagged, black thigh-high high-heeled boots with red cuffs, toes and tips of the heels.) (Personality Asmodeus possesses a very boastful and arrogant attitude, especially whenever something contrasts with his reputation of being the embodiment of lust. Otherwise, Asmodeus values consensual lust, stating how it's about pleasure for everyone involved. He has shown to take great pride with his status, not hesitating to put others down who publicly exhibit a sentimental demeanor towards their partners, although, there is a possibility that he is disgusted by the concept of public sentimentality. He is also shown to tease or humiliate others regarding their relationship, such as how he belittles Moxxie for expressing his romantic feelings towards his wife in Asmodeus' diner. Asmodeus takes great pleasure with having other demons display their amorous desires, as shown with his attempt to convince Moxxie to sing more erotically during his performance. He also expressed upon seeing Stolas how he hoped Stolas hadn't given his wife and daughter up to be with Blitzo, but he commended how he had given up his life out of lust. However, this was eventually shown to be very hypocritical. Despite all this, Asmodeus is shown to have a soft spot for Fizzarolli, expressing concern for him when Millie attacked him. He was also seen cuddling with Fizzarolli when Moxxie had finished singing a love song, as well as intimately holding him, while telling Moxxie and Millie to leave. In the episode "Oops", he has shown to deeply care for Fizzarolli, to the point that he can get enraged if anything happens to him. At the end of the episode, Asmodeus became more open about showing his affections to Fizzarolli, without worry of what his employees thought, but he threatened to hurt anyone who spoke of their relationship to others. He can also show sympathy towards others, as shown with Stolas in "Oops" when he sympathetically told him that he couldn't help him out of respect for Fizzaroli's wishes, despite wanting to. Unlike most of his fellow Sins, Asmodeus is also rather sympathetic towards the low-class demons, such as imps and hellhounds, even involving himself romantically with one. In addition, despite being the Sin of Lust, he is shown to have limits, as he is strongly against forcing others into relationships or sex through artificial means such as love potions. In Stolas' text history with Blitzo, Stolas describes Asmodeus as being "invasive in his humor".)
Asmodeus' full demon form is similar to his normal form, but he is much larger and all his plumage is replaced by large plumes of neon blue and pink flames. These flames also appear on his hands and tail feathers. Also, his main head, as well as his ram and bull heads, turn a reddish-pink. These flames may also turn red if depending on the severity of his anger. A partial manifestation of this form is seen in both "Oops" and "Mastermind", with his plumes catching fire, but without the size increase to Asmodeus himself.
Asmodeus is occasionally known by the nickname of 'Ozzie', to the point one of his own restaurants in the Lust Ring is named after it.
While it has not been confirmed what type of relationship Stolas has with Asmodeus, it is implied that Stolas is at least unnerved by him; this is further suggested when Stolas attempted to leave the venue while being lectured to by Asmodeus. However, they generally do not hold any ill will towards each other. In "Western Energy", during the texts with Blitzo, it shows that Stolas finds Asmodeus to be invasive when it comes to his humor. But then, Stolas did think that what Asmodeus said about him was funny. In "Oops", the two show a friendly business relationship as Stolas meets with Asmodeus to discussing getting an Asmodean Crystal for Blitzo, which he ultimately refused to do so initially due to respecting Fizzarolli's dislike of Blitzo. Later, when Crimson held Fizzarolli hostage in order to threaten Asmodeus into signing contracts for his freedom, Stolas volunteered to read them so Asmodeus wouldn't make any regretful decisions. He was also happy for Asomodeus when the latter was reunited with Fizzarolli. Furthermore, it shows that Stolas respects Asmodeus as a higher authoritative of power, even going to address him as "sire" during the contract signing. In "Mastermind", Asmodeus was in disbelief to witness Stolas singing about being the mastermind who concocted the plot the misuse of his grimoire, but remained sympathetic after having to watch the former prince losing his power.
Asmodeus and Fizzarolli are a couple and business partners. He also works at Asmodeus' club, as shown in the episode "Ozzie's". Fizzarolli appears to be valued enough to be allowed seating with Asmodeus at his private balcony. The two share a mutual disdain of sentimental relationships, and they take part in mocking others, such as Moxxie. Asmodeus was suggested to have a close relationship with Fizzarolli, as he worriedly rushed to Fizzarolli after the latter was struck by Moxxie's guitar, they can also be seen hugging each other during Moxxie's love song. This is highlighted during "Oops" where it is revealed that the two are in a romantic relationship, but because Asmodeus is supposed to represent lust, the two had to hide their relationship so he wouldn't come off as a hypocrite. Asmodeus becomes concerned when Fizzarolli decides to go to the Greed Ring by himself, and became furious when Crimson and Striker took Fizzarolli hostage in an attempt to threaten him and he spends the whole episode of "Oops" impatiently trying to get him back through hastily making contracts with Crimson, only stopped from doing so by Stolas. Much to Asmodeus's relief by the end of the episode, Fizzarolli returned. After this, he starts being more open in his relationship with Fizzarolli around his employees, threatening to silence them if they talk about it. He also agreed to give Blitzo an Asmodean Crystal after previously refusing to give him one due to Fizzarolli's bitter past with him, doing so only because Fizzarolli gave him approval. In "MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft Fizzarolli)", Asmodeus comforted Fizzarolli when he was vulnerable about his disfigurement that he believed would make him an inadequate partner or mascot for any king of sin. Asmodeus explained to Fizzarolli that he is always the inspiration he fell in love with, showing how deeply Asmodeus loves Fizzarolli. Asmodeus' love for Fizzarolli also made him protect Fizzarolli when he quit working for Mammon, and later Asmodeus uses his own body to cover Fizzarolli to keep him safe. Asmodeus even publicly stated his love for Fizzarolli despite any possible future repercussions, which made Fizzarolli blush. In "Mastermind", Asmodeus regretfully looked at his phone when a frantic Fizzarolli begged him through texts on saving Blitzo during the trial, knowing that he could not save his lover's friend.
Asmodeus made a passing comment and tauntingly of the latter's romantic relationship with Millie. After Moxxie's song, Asmodeus taunted Millie and Moxxie's display of affection and angrily told them to get out.
Although originally having limited interactions, Asmodeus has some degree of knowledge on Fizzarolli having a soured history with Blitzo. In "Oops", when Stolas met with Asmodeus to request an Asmodean Crystal for Blitzo's business, Asmodeus refused as to not support someone that Fizzarolli hated, but didn't seem to hold any hate for Blitzo personally. They become more of casual acquaintances after Fizzarolli made up with Blitzo in the same episode. Furthermore in "MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft Fizzarolli)", he had brought Blitzo along as a bodyguard to accompany Fizzarolli during his performance at Mammon's clown pageant, so he could convince him to quit due to Mammon's abusive behavior. Asmodeus also stated that he trusts Blitzo to keep Fizzarolli safe since he was able to protect him from Crimson when he wasn't able to, despite initially being mildly annoyed at Blitzo's hyper-vigilance at Mammon Theatre's red carpet. After Fizzarolli's resignation, Asmodeus and his partner left with Blitzo in his limousine, where the imp asked who tops during sex, making Asmodeus amused by Blitzo's untimely humor while looking at the embarrassed and dismayed Fizzarolli passionately. In "Mastermind", Asmodeus was one of the two Sins who stood in Blitzo's favor during the trial for illegally using Stolas' grimoire.
As seen in "Mastermind", Asmodeus works together with Satan and the other Deadly Sins in order to manage and govern Hell. Asmodeus does have issues and disagrees with Satan, as shown where Asmodeus was notably uncomfortable with Satan's lies about being Hell's first ruler and him having been in Hell before Lucifer's fall. Nevertheless, as shown from when Asmodeus sang along for Satan's song, it's implied that despite Satan's faults, Asmodeus still acknowledges the importance of his role as Hell's interim ruler in order to maintain control of Hell's chaotic denizens.
As seen in "Mastermind", Asmodeus is shown with somewhat of a longing look when looking at Lucifer's empty throne, implying that he misses him or at least prefers having him leading Hell instead of Satan. As shown in "New Pentious", Lucifer keeps multiple pictures of Asmodeus in his room at the Hazbin Hotel, showing a presumed fondness for his fellow Sin. In "Silenced", Lucifer has received an apple-shaped ball gag from Asmodeus alongside gifts from other Sins and Mammon's bribe for him to come back.
Asmodeus has a close and friendly relationship with Beelzebub as shown by the picture of the pair kept on Asmodeus' fridge in his tower in the episode "Oops". In "Mastermind", Asmodeus sat next to Beelzebub during Blitzo's trial and the two were in favor of their mutual friend. The two humiliated Mammon when he insulted their romantic relationships with "lower class imps".
It is implied in "Oops" that Asmodeus has a close relationship with Mammon, calling him by the familiar nickname "Mam" when discussing the Greed Ring with Fizzarolli. However, the latter added that Asmodeus is "not a fan of the Mammon thing", hinting that Asmodeus has a sort of dislike towards Mammon. In "MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft Fizzarolli)", it was revealed that Asmodeus has a lot of hostility and dislike towards Mammon, having hated his selfish, manipulative, greedy and self-serving personality since "the start of Hell". While the previous details of their relationship are unknown, Asmodeus harbors intense dislike and even outright hatred for Mammon in the present due to his abuse towards his boyfriend, Fizzarolli and his psychological hold over the imp and has repeatedly tried to get Fizzarolli to quit working for him due to the obvious stress, pain and abuse he is forced to go through and endure in order to meet Mammon's perfectionist standards to generate profit for him. Aside from their personal relationship, Asmodeus also has a professional one with Mammon. As stated by Asmodeus, he designs sex toys for Mammon to then sell and distribute for profit, including the Robo Fizz sex robot made in Fizzarolli's likeness, much to Asmodeus's displeasure. In "Mastermind", Asmodeus continued to be taunted by Mammon for defending Blitzo and he reproached him for dating low-class imps, but Asmodeus threatened him and together with Beelzebub, they humiliated and taunted him, with Asmodeus showing a satisfied face when his enemy was humiliated by Beelzebub.
As seen in "Oops", Asmodeus has some mechanical skills, such as when he replaces Fizzarolli's broken robotic arm with a new one. As revealed in his conversation with Fizzarolli, Asmodeus is also the one who invented and engineered the Robo Fizz robots, of which he was in a partnership with Mammon to sell.
In "Oops", it is shown that Asmodeus, unlike Fizzarolli, knows how to cook and he does the cooking for the both of them every day.
Asmodeus possesses a very eloquent singing voice. This skill is used as a way of spreading his amorous power and opinions.
Due to his size, Asmodeus seemingly possesses incredible physical strength, such as being able to lift smaller beings like imps within the palm of his hand. He was also able to break a marble statue by lightly punching it.
Asmodeus can open portals to whatever destination he wishes, which is likely inclusive of the living world.
As shown in "Oops", Asmodeus is able to spontaneously combust himself, especially when he's angry. He can also breathe fire and as seen in "MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft Fizzarolli)" can turn into flames to travel.
Asmodeus, like most of the Sins, possess the ability to manipulate and reshape his body for certain purposes. This is mainly done for things, such as shrinking his natural form down in order to fit into areas he normally wouldn't be able to, or manipulating his appearance to suppress some of his more noticeable features, so he is not as easily noticed or identified by people.
Asmodeus can warp the colors, ambience, and illumination of every room and palace where he is, as shown when the local of Ozzie's change when Asmodeus sings his musical number.
Asmodeus can conjure and create illusions with the form of other demons using his smoke, as seen when making illusions of Stella and Octavia while embarrassing Stolas in front of the audience.
Asmodeus can teleport himself and other entities to various places, appearing in an explosion of blue smoke, or open flaming circles to step through.
Asmodeus has the ability to manipulate pink and blue smoke, being able to use it as a means to generate immense amounts of smoke, teleportation, and materializing apparitions of other demons.
As he has been referred to as a royal several times, and as he mentioned meeting Mammon at the start of Hell in "MAMMON'S MAGNIFICENT MUSICAL MID-SEASON SPECIAL (ft Fizzarolli)", it can be assumed that Asmodeus is demonic royalty and biologically immortal, being able to live for a long period of time and only able to be killed by angelic weaponry.
