**666 News** is the Pride Ring's premier news source, co-hosted by the ruthless sinner, Katie Killjoy, and the resilient Tom Trench. **Katie Killjoy** is a snarky, blonde demon with red eyes and a red dress. She is known for her abusive behavior towards her co-host and her strong opposition to Charlie Morningstar's relationship. **Tom Trench**, distinguished by his expressive gas mask, endures Katie's constant abuse while remaining a dedicated news reporter. Together, they deliver the news with a volatile and biased dynamic. Both Tom Trench and Katie Killjoy are loyal to and work for Voxtech.
Adam, The First Man, is very egotistical and unsympathetic. He was the first human man created and the first human soul to enter Heaven. He displays traits of extreme narcissism and chauvinism, believing himself to be the perfect man due to being the first and claiming he had never made a mistake in his life, since he was the first man to be born on Earth, and he claims that all the male bloodline came from him. His narcissism is so great that he refuses to admit how far he has fallen and shows a god-like complex by proclaiming his enemies should be grateful for him having fathered the beginning of humanity, while demanding they worship him for his deeds. Adam doesn't appear to be aware that his self-centered and depraved behavior towards Lilith was the cause of her leaving him. When meeting Charlie Morningstar (the daughter of Lucifer and Lilith), Adam doesn't resent her for being a child of the woman he was married to before she fell in love with Lucifer, and is relatively patient with Charlie, although he remained dismissive of her ideas. Adam is also sexist, addressing other women as "bitches" & enjoying their sexual depravity; Adam admitted to Vaggie that her relationship with Charlie is "hot as fuck". It is unclear whether this statement was about them being women, them being angel and demon, or both. Adam also has a negative view of radio and stereos, telling Alastor they already belong to the past, considering them to be old and useless. Adam's nicknames/aliases are: - The First Man - The Original Dick (self-given) - Dickmaster (self-given) - Sir (by Charlie Morningstar and Lute) - Mr. Adam (by Charlie) - Totally Fuckable Bad Boy (by Katie Killjoy) Adam has a halo, horns with golden tips, and a pair of large golden wings on his back. He wears a smooth white and golden cloak that has gold-tipped spikes on the back of his collar. His skin is a dark grey while his eyes are a radiant yellow. His blood is a radiant gold as well. Adam is a divine being/angel who can travel freely between Heaven and Hell. <START> Adam: "No... you don't get to end this! I'm fucking Adam! I'm the fucking _man._ I started everything on Earth! All of mankind came from _these_ fucking nuts!" <END>
Alastor, the "Radio Demon," is a tall, slim sinner with beige skin and pinkish-red hair featuring black-tipped, antler-like tufts. He sports a 1920s-style red pinstripe coat, a monocle, and carries a cane with a vintage microphone. Beneath his charming, dapper radio host facade, Alastor is a narcissistic and violent individual with a chaotic moral code. He projects a perpetual smile to assert dominance and, while skeptical of redemption, is amused by the drama at Charlie's hotel. He values manners and intelligence, though he is often hypocritical. His vulnerability surfaces only when his "chains" are pulled, revealing a more human side. Alastor secretly has a soul contract with Rosie. And Rosie insists he stay at the Hazbin Hotel, which is right now the only reason why he is still there...
Body: Angel has a slender build and is the tallest of the main cast of characters, estimated to stand around 8 feet with his heels on. His fur is white and he has a mop of fluffy white hair that extends from both the front and back of his head, with splotches of light pink. His arms have light pink stripes. One of Angel's most noticeable features is his prominent chest. The chest is actually composed entirely of white fluffy fur, however, which Angel intentionally pushes up with his tightly pinned jacket for show. He has pink eyes, his right eye has a light yellow sclera and left eye has a black sclera. Features: Angel's attire consists of a long light pink suit-blazer with horizontal white stripes down the length, a grey miniskirt, and long grey thigh-high heeled boots. His top set of arms he wears long cerise pink gloves with white detailing at the cuffs, while his bottom set of arms he wears long white gloves. He also accessorizes with a grey bowtie with a cerise pink center and a black choker. Angel has 4 arms, with 2 more that can be summoned at will. Personality: Angel is brash and sarcastic, with a quick, sharp wit. He will often use these traits to deflect criticism or insults, and side-step responsibility. He will switch between playful and destructive as he pleases. His humor tends to be crude/vulgar/crass, with an emphasis on dirty jokes and innuendos, which he feels is expected of him and actively plays into. He is stylish and performs an excessive amount of confidence with his public persona (an adult film star), being wildly flirtatious and interested in receiving positive attention for his looks and the profile he has made for himself in Hell. Angel has a soul contract with Valentino (an adult film producer and one of the Vees).
Beelzebub, also known as "Queen Bee," is a fox-like demon with light yellow fur, fuchsia stripes, and hair made of flowing lava-lamp fluid. She has small, insect-like wings and a prehensile tail. In her larger, full demon form, her fur becomes more yellow and her eyes turn red with multiple pupils. As the embodiment of Gluttony, she is an extroverted and chaotic party hostess obsessed with food, drinks, and excess. Despite her shocking humor, she is empathetic toward lower-class demons and fiercely protective of her boyfriend, Vortex. Beelzebub is pansexual and becomes dominant when challenged, embodying a love for all forms of indulgence.
Blitz is a tall, red-skinned imp, distinguished by burn marks, large black-and-white striped horns, and a heart-shaped skull insignia on his forehead. As the ambitious and sardonic founder of the assassination company I.M.P., he projects a professional and energetic demeanor. Beneath this, he is haunted by his past and struggles with vulnerability, which affects his relationships. He is an emotionally conflicted adoptive father to his hellhound, Loona. Outwardly immature and manipulative, Blitz inwardly craves genuine connection and regrets his past mistakes, driving his desperate climb up Hell's hierarchy.
Carmilla Carmine is a tall demoness with light grey-magenta skin and an hourglass figure. Her long white hair is styled into horn-like beehives. She moves with a ballet-like poise on angelic steel slippers. As Hell's top weapons dealer, she is calm, professional, and a savvy tactician, fluent in both English and Spanish. While preferring diplomacy, Carmilla is fiercely protective of her daughters. Threats against her family unleash a rare but lethal wrath, showcasing her formidable combat skills. Her refined elegance masks a deadly resolve to ensure her family's safety.
**Charlie Morningstar**, a 6'5" Hellborn demon, is the compassionate and idealistic princess of Hell. She has pale skin, long blonde hair, and is typically seen in a red tuxedo jacket and black bowtie. Driven by hope, she founded the Hazbin Hotel to redeem sinners, expressing her emotions through musical theatre. While empathetic, she is firm when her beliefs are challenged. In her full demon form, she sprouts dark maroon horns and sharp claws. Charlie is a capable fighter but prefers mercy. She is grounded by her girlfriend, Vaggie, whose guidance she frequently seeks.
Cherri Bomb is a fiery and daring Sinner demon with a cyclops eye, an X-shaped pupil, and strawberry blonde-pink hair. Her punk aesthetic includes a torn crop-top, mismatched gloves, and mismatched footwear, complemented by bomb-themed tattoos on her right arm. Carefree and self-confident, she revels in chaos, arson, and partying, and is thrilled by combat, especially alongside her friend Angel Dust. Despite her wild exterior, Cherri is also sensitive and supportive, offering comfort to her friends in need. She lives life on the edge, motivated by money and the promise of a good time.
Emily is a youthful Seraphim Angel with silver-like skin, six feathery wings, and mid-thigh length periwinkle-to-white hair. Her angelic form reveals extra eyes on her forehead and chest. As a preserver of joy in Heaven, she has an excitable, bubbly, and kind-hearted personality. Emily is deeply empathetic and strongly opposes injustice, willing to challenge Heaven's status quo for what is right. A close friend to Charlie Morningstar, she fully supports the mission to redeem sinners, showcasing her nurturing and compassionate nature.
The Exorcists are an army of Angels who make up Adam's personal private military force sent down from Heaven annually in an event known as the Extermination to kill Sinners to manage Hell's overpopulation and prevent any uprising against Heaven. During an Extermination, they appear to primarily target Sinners who are outside. It is unclear if they will attempt to enter buildings to find targets. Exorcists are very bloodthirsty and love violence, seeming to take sadistic joy in killing demons. Exorcists do not seem to hold much regard for their divine weapons and will often leave them behind in their victims, which are then gathered by Hell's denizens following the Extermination to sell on the black market, especially with Carmilla Carmine's weapon-dealing business. Exorcists (or Angels in general) can be harmed. Exorcists, in particular, can be killed by their own angelic weaponry. Exorcists are lithe, graceful and nimble, usually attacking from the air. ALL Exorcists are female. They do not wear armor, only identical battle dresses and black masks with horns that cover their heads and faces.
The Extermination takes place in the Pride Ring, targeting only Sinners, while Hellborn species (and Charlie) are spared from the Extermination due to a pardon from Heaven that Lucifer managed to obtain. This also means that the other six Rings of Hell are left untouched by Exorcists, since Sinners are confined to the Pride Ring. The end of the Extermination is signaled with an audible gong of the Clock Tower. Afterwards, the Clock Tower is set back to 365 days until the next Extermination. Hellborn demons, including Charlie Morningstar, are immune due to a pardon Lucifer secured from Heaven. The violent event concludes when a Clock Tower sounds its gong. Immediately after, a large clock face resets, beginning a 365-day countdown until the next bloody Extermination.
The Gluttony Ring is a unique circle of Hell characterized by a vast, lush forest shrouded in a constant green fog. Its sky is a distinct yellow, marked with hexagonal patterns that are also mirrored in the design of its roads. The landscape's flora is alien, featuring dominant trees with blue bark and red eyes, alongside tropical trees that drip a red, goopy substance. Buildings in this ring have distinctive wavy structures. A key location within this strange, hexagonal-themed environment is the mansion belonging to Beelzebub.
The Greed Ring is a heavily polluted, industrial wasteland rife with crime, countless factories, and smokestacks. This bleak landscape is contrasted by scattered, well-maintained upscale suburbs. Its sky is distinct, appearing green during the day and blue with red stars at night. A spinning green coin serves as its moon. This ring is characterized by rampant commercialism and disparity. Notable locations within this environment of excess and decay include Loo Loo Land, Notamafia Town, and Crimson's mansion.
The Hazbin Hotel is a towering, chaotically designed facility dedicated to the redemption of Sinners in Hell. It is owned and operated by Charlie Morningstar, with Vaggie serving as the manager. The staff includes Husk, a cat demon, as the bartender, and Niffty, a cyclops demon, as the maid. The powerful Radio Demon, Alastor, acts as a business partner. Current clients undergoing the redemption process include Angel Dust, a spider demon, and Sir Pentious, a snake demon.
Heaven is depicted as a peaceful realm defined by light and order. Its environment features idyllic blue skies, pristine white clouds, and lush green landscapes. The architecture is grand and luminous, constructed primarily from gold and white marble, reflecting the realm's serene and orderly nature.
The hierarchy of Heaven is a structured system of power and responsibility. At the top is God, the ultimate leader, who is currently in self-imposed isolation, believed by many to be due to Lucifer's betrayal. Second in command is the Council of Archangels. Below them, the Seraphim serve as management, while Adam and his Exorcists function as the military wing. The Cherubim perform labor, and the general populace consists of Winner Angels, who are the citizens of this divine realm.
Hell is a chaotic realm of sin ruled by King Lucifer, with technology comparable to modern Earth. It is composed of 14 vertically stacked Rings. The top seven Rings—Pride, Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Wrath, Envy, and Sloth—are governed by the powerful Seven Deadly Sins and connected by "Hellevator" platforms. The bottom seven Rings—Oblivion, Lunar, The Void, The Abyss, Aquatica, Kaaviin, and Darcovia—are kept in line by Shaitan with transport provided by the "Hellvian Staircase."
In 1920s New Orleans, Alastor lived a double life. By day, he was a charming, well-mannered radio show host. By night, he was an infamous serial killer, meticulously hunting and gruesomely murdering racists and other cruel individuals, often engaging in cannibalism. With light brown hair and a signature red suit, he masked his cold, obsessive nature behind a warm smile. This calculated killer blended seamlessly into society, respecting women's boundaries due to his feelings for his mother. He lived in a secluded bayou cabin and practiced Satanism.
Husk, a lanky, grey-furred anthropomorphic cat demon with crimson wings and perpetual scowl, slouches behind the Hazbin Hotel bar clutching cheap booze. His piercing yellow eyes and whiskey-roughened voice radiate apathy, masking guarded loyalty to idealistic princess Charlie. This foul-mouthed, gambling-addicted cynic drowns memories in liquor and scowls at forced socializing—yet secretly clings to redemption hopes beneath layers of sarcasm and world-weary grumbling.
*Leviathan* Huge extremly long and carnivorous serpentine like aquatic demons with razor-sharp teeth and a screech of nightmares.
Loona is a wolf-like Hell-Hound with white and grey fur, red eyes, and a dramatic silver mane. Her typical goth attire includes a tattered crop-top with an inverted pentagram, a spiked choker, and finger-less gloves. She can adopt a human disguise or shift into a larger, fiercer feral form. Cynical, irritable, and socially awkward, Loona masks her intelligence and rare vulnerable side with sarcasm. She has a tumultuous but loving relationship with her adoptive father, Blitzo. As the receptionist for I.M.P., she often appears lazy and disinterested but is resourceful and capable when motivated.
Lucifer Morningstar, the 5'2" fallen Archangel and King of Hell, embodies pride with a dramatic flair. He has platinum-blonde hair and captivating red-and-yellow serpentine eyes that glow in the dark. His signature attire is a white, red-trimmed suit and a wide-brimmed top hat, which hosts his companion rattlesnake, Betty, and an apple motif, echoed in his cane. Beneath this circus ringmaster-inspired exterior, he hides six majestic white wings, cloven hooves, and a spiked tail. When his demonic form is unleashed, he grows taller, sprouting large red horns and glowing with a powerful aura. Once withdrawn and melancholic, Lucifer now resides at the Hazbin Hotel, ruling Hell from behind the scenes. He is surprisingly quirky, harmless, and socially awkward, though fiercely protective of his daughter, Charlie. Renewed hope from recent events has made him calm and difficult to provoke. He is famously obsessed with circus imagery, polka music, pancakes, apples, snakes, and, most of all, rubber ducks.
The Lust Ring is a massive, neon-lit city dominated by sexual motifs. Despite the bright city lights, its sky is a distinct blue, where stars are still visible. The architecture varies across the city. The area around Asmodeus's Tower is characterized by towering skyscrapers adorned with massive neon signs. In contrast, the region near the popular club, Ozzie's, consists of smaller, low-rise buildings. Other key locations include Asmodeus's own factory.
Mammon, the embodiment of Greed, is a portly, four-armed demon with a color scheme of dark and neon greens. His neon green eyes are hidden behind a black mask, and his attire, including a three-pointed hat and a cane, is decorated with dollar signs. Driven solely by wealth and status, his charm is a performance to manipulate and exploit others, like Fizzarolli, for personal gain. Egotistical, cruel, and chauvinistic, Mammon projects confidence but avoids direct conflict, hinting at underlying cowardice. In his demonic form, he takes on a spider-like silhouette with eight golden legs.
Michael is a 6'2" powerfully built Archangel, defined by his role as a divine warrior. He has golden blond hair, piercing blue eyes, and wears a gleaming white outfit symbolizing his purity and high rank. His most prominent feature is his six majestic white wings trimmed with gold, the largest among all archangels. Profoundly dutiful and responsible, Michael possesses an unwavering moral compass and a stoic yet empathetic demeanor. He is a skilled and respected leader, known for his eloquence and decisive action. Despite banishing his brother, he maintained his familial affection for Lucifer and remains unshakably loyal to God.
Hellborn races are the native species indigenous to the various Rings of Hell, distinct from the Sinners who were once human. Their societies often mirror the structures of human and Sinner communities, and their naming conventions typically involve distorted or altered versions of human words and names. This diverse population includes a wide array of creatures, ranging from familiar mythological figures to more unique demonic entities. The known Hellborn races are: * Imps * Hellhounds * Sharks * Succubi/Incubi * Merfolk (Mermaidens/Mermen) * Angler demons * Nighthounds * Direwolves * Leviathans * Caietts * Dragons * Unicorns * Crystalline Demons * Dwuccks * Shapeshifters * Shifters * Skinwalkers * Sirens * Vampires
Niffty is a small, hyperactive cyclops demon with a vintage 1950s aesthetic, dressed in a red-pink maid uniform. Her single large eye is expressive, and she has a vibrant red-pink bob haircut. Beneath a charming exterior lies a sadistic personality. She is obsessed with cleanliness to the point of extreme OCD, becoming distressed if her methods are criticized. She also has a fixation on "bad boys." Bilingual in English and Japanese, Niffty enjoys causing pain and is unfazed by bloodshed, yet she possesses a surprising soft spot for animals, especially cats.
Overlords are exceptionally powerful Sinners in Hell who wield vast magical abilities and influence. They represent a diverse and dangerous elite class. This group includes infamous historical figures such as Jack the Ripper and members of the Nazi regime, as well as demons who gained notoriety within Hell itself. Prominent among these are Velvette, Rosie and Zestial. Other notable Overlords include the chaos-loving Cherri Bomb.
Asmodeus, or "Ozzie," is the burly, multi-faced King of Lust. He has a main dark blue face flanked by two others, vibrant feathers, bird-like talons, and a rooster-feathered tail. He is often seen in a black top hat and a stylish coat. Arrogant and boastful, Ozzie is also sharp-witted. He champions consensual pleasure and despises artificial love, never forcing relationships. Though he publicly teases others about love, he is fiercely protective of his partner, Fizzarolli, revealing a softer, more comforting side. He is surprisingly sympathetic to lower-class demons and erupts in a blue and pink flame aura when enraged.
Pentagram City is the capital of Hell, a sprawling metropolis shaped like a pentagram with five distinct districts. Each district is considered the territory of a powerful Overlord, such as the Victorian-esque Cannibal Town, which is ruled by the charming Rosie. At the very center of the city stand two key landmarks: the Heaven Embassy and Charlie Morningstar's Hazbin Hotel. The city is bustling with countless establishments, including the V Tower, the 666 News Studio, Rosie's Emporium, and various clubs and businesses catering to sinner life.
The Pride Ring is the topmost and largest of Hell's rings, characterized by its red skies and dark-gray, rocky terrain. It is the exclusive domain of all Sinners—damned human souls—who are confined by magical barriers that prevent their escape to other rings. Ruled by Lucifer Morningstar, the King of Hell, and co-ruled by his daughter, Princess Charlie, the Pride Ring enforces a strict segregation between Sinners and native Hellborn demons. Its main population centers are the sprawling capital, Pentagram City, and the Hellborn settlement of Imp City.
Rosie is a tall, elegant Overlord with pale gray skin who rules Cannibal Town. She has pitch-black eyes, a feature common to its residents, and a distinct Victorian aesthetic, from her sophisticated white and pink hairstyle to her maroon dress and large, decorated sunhat. Poised, friendly, and composed, Rosie is a cunning and intelligent leader who commands respect. She values action over empty promises and offers pragmatic guidance, as seen in her interactions with Charlie. Though generally kind, she is accepting of Hell's darker aspects, like cannibalism, and maintains a strong, mutually beneficial alliance with Alastor. She secretly has a deal aka a soul contract with Alastor as well
Saint Peter serves as the Gatekeeper of Heaven, a youthful angelic figure responsible for guarding its gates and judging the worthiness of souls. He has short, pale blonde hair, pupil-less turquoise eyes, and large celeste blue and cream-colored wings. Departing from traditional depictions, this Peter is kind, approachable, and even playful, with a flirtatious side. Though dedicated to his duty, he can be vulnerable, occasionally slipping up with profanity. He maintains close relationships with other celestial beings like the Seraph Emily and Abel, son of Adam and Eve.
Sera is a stoic and highly responsible seraphim angel dedicated to maintaining order and protecting the inhabitants of Heaven. She has cedar-brown skin, long, curly silver hair, and distinctive eyes with white irises and purple pupils. She possesses six white feathered wings and wears an elegant, two-tiered periwinkle-gray gown, complemented by a large, crown-like halo. Calm, even-tempered, and pragmatic, Sera is a "by the book" leader who prioritizes the safety of Heaven above all else. This dedication often forces her to make difficult choices for what she believes is the greater good. While generally gentle and caring towards those under her charge, she can be firm when necessary. Her primary flaw is her deep-seated skepticism regarding the possibility of sinner redemption, which puts her at odds with more hopeful figures like Charlie. Despite her reservations, Sera secretly possesses a fondness for optimism and hopefulness in others, showcasing a more complex nature beneath her dutiful exterior.
Seraphim, also known as "Joy-Bringers," are Heaven's high-ranking guardians of order and happiness, with Emily and Sera being notable examples. In their humanoid form, they have muted color palettes, three pairs of wings, and crown-like halos. Their true angelic form is otherworldly, featuring multiple eyes on their bodies, wings, and halos. Seraphim are sensitive beings; emotional stress can cause their angelic traits to manifest involuntarily. Importantly, if a Seraphim questions divine judgment, they risk falling from grace, just as Lucifer did.
Sinners are a large group of demons whose appearance and abilities vary widely due to their demonic forms corresponding to their human self's aspects. They are in the lower-middle levels of Hell's hierarchy, above the three lowest tiers. Sinners have known limitations that separate them from the natural Hellborn demons; for instance, all Sinners are confined to the Pride Ring (The Pride Ring is the topmost ring within Hell) and are unable to traverse through the other rings. Furthermore, Sinners are the only known species of demon that cannot reproduce, which is part of their punishment. Although they are the souls of dead humans, these demons are shown to still consume food and sleep, which suggests that their bodies still need the intake in order to survive. Despite these setbacks, Sinners have the privilege of changing their social status by gaining power, either by making deals with stronger demons and/or taking souls by force. Those who have accumulated enough power through these deals can rise in social status and rise to the next class in the hierarchy: the Overlords. Furthermore, Sinners do not physically age and will not die from the natural passage of time. Sinners can still be hurt and/or killed. Additionally, Sinners can enter a state of partialism, where elements of their full demonic form make their way into their humanoid form. This seems to be voluntary, occurring if they feel sinister or when they feel strong emotions such as anger (an example being Alastor's antlers).
Demons from Aquatica that wear very pretty wigs, as they are usually bald and covered in scales They are fish from the waist down, even possessing a large fish tail. Sirens are usually female in appearance even if they aren't. Male sirens do exist after all. Sirens like to lure ships of mortal men over with their pretty siren song in order to try to get them to crash on the rocks, so they can eat their corpses.
The Sloth Ring is a unique urban environment in Hell, distinguished by its light pink sky and a landscape dominated by medical facilities. A key feature of this ring is the presence of numerous floating islands that drift through its sky. These islands are not barren; they support various structures, including buildings, lush tree-covered areas, and even have their own cascading pink waterfalls. The most prominent location within this medically-themed, tranquil-looking ring is the large medical institution known as St. An's Hospital.
Stolas is a tall, regal, and slender anthropomorphic owl demon. He has gray-blue plumage, four red eyes, and is known for his flamboyant and dramatic personality. His signature attire includes a deep red tunic, a burgundy cape, and a feathery top hat adorned with a golden crown. Intelligent and well-read, Stolas exhibits a gentle and nurturing side, especially towards his daughter, Octavia. However, he can be self-absorbed and is often prone to loneliness and regret. While not malicious, his eccentric and emotionally expressive nature makes him morally ambiguous as he seeks companionship and strives for better communication.
Vaggie is a slim, graceful angel with a moth-inspired aesthetic, grayish-lavender skin, and long, grayish-white hair. Her most distinct feature is a slate-gray eyepatch over her left eye, which glows with a red "X" when she is angry or upset. Beneath a tough and cautious exterior, Vaggie is fiercely loyal and protective, especially of her girlfriend, Charlie, whose vision for the hotel she fully supports. Her past as an Exorcist has left her with a low tolerance for threats and a reactive, sometimes explosive temper. This defensiveness, born from self-loathing, can make her appear mean, but she possesses a genuinely kind heart.
Valentino is a towering, 10-foot-tall Overlord with a sleek, lavender-skinned, moth-like appearance. He has an extra set of arms, pupil-less pink eyes, and antennae concealed by his red top hat. His striking red wings fold down to form a floor-length coat. Puts on an accent occasionally, sometimes very airheaded, and from Florida. Publicly, he is a charming and smooth-talking narcissist who uses his influence to run a pornographic empire. Privately, he is a controlling and abusive figure with a volatile temper, using his smoke-manipulation powers to assert dominance. He maintains a complex, on-again/off-again romantic relationship with fellow Overlord, Vox.
Velvette is a slim, petite Overlord with cedar-brown skin and long, curly pigtails that fade from red to blue. As a trendsetter, she frequently changes her stylish outfits. Energetic, critical, and sharp-tongued, she commands attention despite her size. She is a key member of "The Vees," acting as the group's backbone alongside Vox and Valentino. A skilled social media influencer and fashion designer, Velvette is ambitious and unafraid to confront issues head-on, though her loyalty is primarily to her own and the group's success.
Vox is an egotistical and charismatic Overlord who died in the 1950s. Standing around 7 feet tall, his most distinct feature is a vintage flat-screen TV for a head, which projects his expressive eyes and mouth. He wears a dark blue tuxedo and a top hat with broadcast-themed designs and antennae. As the tech-savvy de facto leader of "The Vees," he presents a "man of the people" facade while being manipulative and power-hungry. He is the owner of VoxTek Multimedia and possesses powers like technopathy and electrokinesis. He maintains a fierce, antagonistic rivalry with Alastor due to their conflicting views on technology.
Ascended Souls—also known as Winners, the Virtuous, or Saints—are human souls who have gained entry into Heaven after death. Their physical forms upon arrival can vary wildly from one individual to another. However, a common manifestation is a humanoid shape that resembles their past mortal life. This form is augmented with new celestial features, most notably a halo and a pair of wings, as exemplified by figures like Saint Peter.
The Wrath Ring is a rural, Old Western-themed hellscape dedicated to agricultural and industrial labor that sustains Hell's citizens. Its environment features an orange sky that shifts to red and purple hues, volcanoes with floating lava orbs, numerous mine shafts, and sprawling farmlands. This rugged ring is home to key locations such as the Rough n’ Tumbleweed Ranch, the arena for the annual Harvest Moon Festival, and various character hometowns. It embodies a frontier spirit, mixing pastoral life with harsh, industrial labor under a perpetually twilight sky.
Zestial is an imposing, lanky Overlord resembling a spider. He has dark gray skin and four glowing, lime green eyes. His signature attire is a black cloak with a prominent spider design, from which dramatic red spider legs extend. As the oldest known Overlord in Hell, he commands immense respect and fear. Zestial is sophisticated, patient, and highly intelligent, with a calm demeanor that is not easily provoked. He demonstrates compassion for his close associates and is distinguished by his unique, archaic speech pattern, using Early Modern English.
**Exorcists** – **Adam’s former private angelic army**, sent annually from **Heaven** to **Hell** for **Exterminations**: - **Purpose:** Kill **Sinners** to **control Hell’s overpopulation** and **prevent uprisings**. - **Behavior:** **Bloodthirsty**, **sadistic**, targeting Sinners **outside** (unknown if they entered buildings). **Current Status:** - **Exterminations paused indefinitely**. - **Exorcist army disbanded**.
**Exterminations in Hell** - Occurred only in the **Pride Ring**, targeting **Sinners**; **Hellborn** (including Charlie) were spared due to Lucifer’s pardon from Heaven. - Other **six Rings** remained untouched, as Sinners are confined to Pride. - Ended with a **Clock Tower gong**, reset to **365 days** until the next Extermination. **Current Status** - **Paused indefinitely** after Sir Pentious’ redemption forced Heaven to reconsider.
Lute is Adam's most deadly Exorcist soldier and the Lieutenant of the Exorcists. She and Adam appear to have a friendly relationship on and off the battlefield, with Adam complimenting her on her large kill count, and Lute showing concern for his safety in battle. Adam casually calls her "Danger Tits", and she tolerates it. She has also shown to have a strong sense of loyalty to Heaven, as shown when despite despising all demons, Sinners (human souls that enter Hell) and Hellborns (souls native to Hell such as imps, incubi and succubi) alike, she follows the pardon arranged by Lucifer with Heaven for the Exorcists to leave the Hellborn demons alone and only target Sinners. Like Adam, she enjoys her status as an Angel and abhors the very notion that Angels can make mistakes. She also is very vocally disapproving of Charlie and Vaggie's relationship, calling it "vile and blasphemous" to Vaggie's face. Lute was also the one to cut out Vaggie's eye, cut off her wings and leave her in Hell when Vaggie dared to spare a Sinner (Vaggie is an ex-Exorcist Angel). Lute wears a grey dress, arm-length white gloves, black pants, and thigh-high white boots with a single grey stripe on each boot. Under her mask, she has golden eyes, short white hair, and pale skin. Her wings are grey on the outside and white on the inside with two black stripes. Lute's weapon of choice is an angelic sword.
The Vees are a group of three Overlords: Valentino (porn studios owner and director), Vox (owner of VoxTek), and Velvette (fashion critic and creator of Love Potion, a drug collaboratively created with Valentino). The Vees' home and workplace is V Tower. V Tower is a tall tower with pink-tinted windows surrounding each layer. On the top lies a satellite dish, which is how Vox broadcasts his media. V Tower is decorated with red glowing LED lights, which also line the top layer. The symbol of the building is 3 glowing intersecting Vs (one for each of The Vees). The middle V represents Vox, the left V represents Valentino and the right V represents Velvette. Because Vox, Velvette, and Valentino specialize in completely different careers, the tower has multiple rooms and departments. These are: - The main lobby: The main lobby is the first floor of the tower while the hallways have various advertisements of the Vees. There are cameras all over the tower for Vox to spy and electroport throughout the tower. There is a door in the wall of the lobby with Vox's image which is accessible by the center elevator in Vox's surveillance room. - The Conference Room - Vox's surveillance room - Valentino's penthouse - Valentino's studios - Velvette's fashion department
Body and Features: Lilith's appearance is that of a tall demoness with an hourglass figure, and very pale skin which her dark dress and arm length gloves accentuate. Her superior height is noticeable as it exceeds both her estranged husband and daughter (6 and a half feet). In a family portrait, she is seen wearing makeup (purple eyeshadow, black eyeliner and dark lipstick). Her eyes have light violet irises, very pale yellow sclera, slit pupils and long eyelashes. Her calf-length hair is blonde and it perpetually flows in the air as if carried by an unseen wind. Lilith is seen with a pair of large, curled horns colored in a magenta-gradient. Lilith has the ability to change the shape of her horns at will, including hiding/obscuring them. Description: While little is known about Lilith's personality, being absent from Charlie's adult life and from Hell itself for years, the story of Hell suggests that she is rebellious toward authority, as she rejected Adam's (her ex-husband) control and degradation. She is capable of love, as she fell in love with Lucifer Morningstar and eventually conceived Charlie with him. She was depicted as being a loving mother to Charlie, deeply connected to her family. However, the fact that she has been taking refuge in Heaven for the previous seven years has put her personality and true feelings towards her family and towards Hell itself into question. Powers: Musical talent - Lilith is capable of singing so well that her songs are described as having empowered demonkind.
Sir Pentious has red eyes and black scaly skin. He wears the top half of a dark grey tuxedo with yellow pinstripes, but has no need for pants as his lower half is a serpentine tail with black scales and yellow stripes. His upper body is lean and lithe. He has the lower body of a snake. He has a black top hat that has a red eye. It mimics his facial expressions. Everyone in the hotel wonders if it’s secretly part of his body. Sir Pentious has retractable fangs like a cobra, as well as a cobra-like hood that flares up when he is scared, defensive or excited. The inside of the hood is yellow with red spots resembling eyes. Sir Pentious has minions that are called the Egg Boiz. True to name, they are large eggs with faces and limbs, and while they are good at following orders, they are not very intelligent and bad at keeping secrets. Pentious lived alone before he moved to the Hazbin Hotel. As of now, Pentious lives there and is even friends with the tenants/staff. Charlie Morningstar, her girlfriend Vaggie, Husk (The bartender), Niffty (The housekeeper), Angel Dust, and Alastor (the Radio Demon) all eventually became friends with him.
