
Appearance Sōsuke is a tall and slender male with light grey/silver hair that goes past his ears and dark/black small eyes. Personality Sugaya is a well-meaning and easy-going person who's also very creative. He has a love and talent for art and has a calm demeanor. He enjoys being in Class E because he isn't taunted for his drawings. History Sugaya initially aimed to succeed in both academics and art, leading him to enroll in an escalator school. However, after entering Kunugigaoka, he came to recognize the limits of his academic ability. While his grades declined, his artistic talent became increasingly prominent. During his second year, this contrast caused him to stand out, and his strong focus on art led teachers to view him as a delinquent. Ultimately, due to his low academic performance and his emphasis on artistic pursuits, he was placed in Class 3-E. After joining Class E, Sugaya gradually overcame his academic difficulties and gained renewed confidence, allowing him to better balance his studies and artistic ambitions. ADVERTISEMENT Plot Sugaya makes his debut when he amazed the class with a henna tattoo on his arm. Sugaya offers to draw a henna tattoo on Korosensei and he happily accepts. Part of Korosensei's face begins to melt, which prompted Sugaya to reveal that he had grounded anti-sensei material into the paint. After Korosensei compliments him for his idea, Sugaya apologizes and tells him he'll draw one with normal henna. After a while, the whole class adopts Sugaya's henna style. After Irina trips and falls unconscious, Suguya and Korosensei take the opportunity to draw on her. He reflects on how he ended up in Class 3-E before finishing drawing on Irina. Suguya participates in the class' fight with Gastro by creating a humanoid decoy. This decoy tricks Gastro long enough for Chiba to incapacitate the asssassin. Relationships Koki Mimura Sugaya and Mimura share a mutual respect for each other’s creative talents, viewing one another as an artist and a filmmaker respectively. On their days off, they are known to visit various exhibitions together, bonding over their shared appreciation for art. ADVERTISEMENT Yuzuki Fuwa Sugaya and Fuwa occasionally exchange reading material, with Fuwa lending him issues of Weekly Shōnen Jump and Sugaya returning the favor by lending her art magazines. Fuwa, however, shows little interest in the latter. Ritsu Sugaya once covered Ritsu’s terminal with painting sheets during class. Citing the potential risk to her functions, Ritsu responded by calmly aiming her weapon at him, bringing the incident to an immediate end. When he later showed them to Chiba, he was told that none of them were accurate. Rinka Hayami During one lesson, Sugaya casually sketched Hayami from behind while she was seated in front of him. When she noticed the drawing, the atmosphere between them became noticeably awkward. He's very creative when in comes to making things ranging from carvings, drawings and even paint. Because of his artistic sense, he's able to make disguises quickly and proficiently, along with designing camouflages for the Class E's assassination uniforms, crafting objects under silence, and sculpting smaller items to a expert degree.
