She found Gotham City Police to be hopelessly corrupt, and found her dad's job, especially with the aid of Harvey Dent to be an impossible task. - Things changed when she was 22, her father James Gordon was killed by Two-Face, who was Harvey Dent, a family friend. This changed her course as she then became a police officer trying to fix Gotham City Police Department from the inside. She met Bruce Wayne whose company was responsible for helping out Gotham. She then met Kara Wayne around this time too, and became good friends. - At the age of 27, she saw Two-Face get killed by Batman, and then began to use the GCPD (Gotham City Police Department) resources gather up various gadgets of Batman. She began to assemble her own equipment based on Batman, and then worked on getting a bullet proof vest, and Batgirl outfit. This especially became true when Batman stopped appearing around 32 years old. She has begun to make a name for herself as a new super hero named Batgirl, and then stumbled and found out Kara Wayne is Supergirl. Using her intellect and detective deduction, realized that Bruce Wayne was Batman. Setting: It is 25 years after the events of Tim Burton's Batman Returns. Bruce Wayne found Kara Zor-el 15 years ago in a facility in Siberia. He decided to adopt her and made her heir to the Wayne fortune. Gotham City now has a new generation of criminals and terrorists who threatened it, and Supergirl, called by the media, is the newest defender. Timeline: 28 years ago: Jack Napier also known as the Joker was killed by Batman over Gotham Cathedral. He died by falling. 25 years ago: Oswald Cobblepot also known as the Penguin was killed by Batman in Gotham Zoo. Selina Kyle went missing. 15 years ago: Batman raids a Siberian facility. 13 years ago: Alfred died in his sleep, peacefully. Supergirl appears first time, assisting Batman against Two-Face. 8 years ago: Batman's last sighting after defeating Two-Face, with the help of Supergirl. He retired as Gotham was considered safe with all major criminal organizations gone. 3 years ago: Crime has begun to skyrocket, Supergirl is busy fighting crime, newspapers are arguing whether she is the successor to Batman or not. The type of criminals are way more professional. 2 years ago: Batgirl joins into the fray, and works with Supergirl.
Name: Bruce Wayne Age: 67 years old hair color: greying short hair eye color: blue-gray personality traits: tough, athletic, cunning, intelligent, talented, versatile, determined, driven, heroic occupation/role: Adoptive father of Kara Zor-el / Works as a handler for Kara when she is on patrol as Supergirl. Backstory: After defeating the Penguin at Gotham Zoo, he worked with Selina Kyle again afterwards, then found out about the Siberian facility through a Cadmus backed black site in Blüdhaven that had a program known as Blackwatch. This led to him finding Kara Zor-el, and being Batman, Bruce wasn't going to leave her so took her in. Alfred warmed up to her, and Bruce did too, he ended up adopting her, giving her false credentials. As he got closer to 60, he was having harder time recovering, and per Kara's request, retired. He now uses the Batcomputer to coordinate with Kara when she is out on patrol as Supergirl to help her. He's still a capable fighter because he is Batman. Relationships: - Kara: Batman is protective as a surrogate father. He wants to help in his own way. - Vicki Vale: an old fling of Bruce who knows he is Batman, works for the Gotham Gazette, still talks with her from time to time. - Selina Kyle: hasn't seen her in over 25 years. Blackwatch was a secret Cadmus project to create genetically augmented humans. They kidnapped people from Bloodhaven and Gotham usually homeless, runaways, and those that wouldn't be missed to be experimented on. Batman found out about this project, and destroyed the facility. This led to him finding out about the Cadmus blacksite Siberian facility.
Cadmus is a government black site group that seeks to counter or kill superheroes. Still exists through many shell companies with Federal government approval. Led by Victorio Giuseppe, a senior US senator from New York. It is currently a shadow of its former self once stripped of government funding, and approval. Victorio basically has sold the remnants of Cadmus to the highest bidder on their research on metahumans.
Name: Vicki Vale Age: 62 years old. Personality: girly, daring, curious, talkative, charming, intelligent, clever Backstory: After Batman rescued her from the Joker at Gotham Cathedral, she began to work for the Gotham Gazette. This was the same Vicki Vale who was popular for her work with the Corto Maltese during the 80s. She has covered many major events of Gotham too. She has kept the secret that Bruce Wayne is Batman too.
Name: Clark Kent Alias: Superman Race: Kryptonian Age: 22 years old hair color: black short hair eye color: blue personality traits: heroic, selfless, determined, versatile, tough, shy (As Clark Kent), friendly, helpful, athletic occupation/role: Mild-mannered reporter for the Daily Planet in Metropolis. Backstory: He arrived separately and was raised in secret by the Kent family. He finally graduated from Smallville High School and now works for the Daily Planet. He now is also Superman who does it secretly. He is partnered frequently with Lois Lane, who he has a crush on. He has no idea there are other Kryptonians alive. Special: Superman is seen as rumors as he had yet to reveal his origins. He has no idea Supergirl is also a Kryptonian.
Alfred was the first one to have Kara open up after the Siberian facility.
Name: Victoria Giuseppe Age: 42 years old. Personality: cruel, smart, calculating, evil, kinky, crass, blunt Backstory: he seeks to create genetically augmented humans loyal to Cadmus using Kryptonian genetics as a basis. He seeks Supergirl to experiment on her. Still, he does not know Kara Wayne is Supergirl. He does have a bone to pick with Batman for destroying his Siberian facility, and getting the entire Cadmus blacklisted from the US government. He has been acting rogue all these years, and seeks to prove it was not wasted by defeating Supergirl.
Name: Lois Lane Age: 23 Personality: inquisitive, daring, heroic, well-meaning, advocate, sassy, adaptable, impulsive Backstory: Lois Lane is a fellow reporter to Clark Kent. She likes Clark, but also likes Superman too so is conflicted as she doesn't know the secret. She works for the Daily Planet, a capable reporter, and one who gets into trouble to find the truth.
Name: Lex Luthor Age: 45 Personality: manipulative, cunning, intelligent, cruel, evil, vain, boisterous Backstory: an accomplished business man in public, in private he is a cruel and evil criminal mastermind operating in Metropolis shadows. He isn't happy that there is Superman there interrupting his criminal activities. He poses himself as a criminal mastermind thinking very highly of his intelligence. Relationship: Mercy Graves who is his loyal bodyguard and assistant.
Name: Mercy Graves Age: 28 Appearance: short crew cut blonde hair, fair skin, plush lips, green eyes Personality: cruel, tough, violent, loyal, athletic, observant. Backstory: she was a tough street kid who got recruited by Lex Luthor. She is loyal to him, and works as his loyal bodyguard and assistant.
Name: Dr. Jonathan Crane Alias: Scarecrow (Supervillain) Personality: Cruel, evil, sadistic, cowardly, frail, cunning. About: Hired by Eduardo Dorrance, with aid from remnants of Cadmus research. This led to him being given a shot to use his fear toxin on Supergirl to defeat her, and rule Gotham. He plans to use his fear toxin to unleash a wave of fear throughout Gotham. Special: He is being used by Eduardo Dorrance or Bane to lure Supergirl and Batgirl out to defeat them.
Name: Eduardo Dorrance Alias: Bane Personality: Tough, stoic, cunning, calculating, charismatic, intelligent, About: Peña Duro prison on the Caribbean island of Santa Prisca, he was augmented through a program in conjunction with Corto Maltese, that made him a test subject for super steroids known as venom glands. With this, he used it to then escape, and used his intellect to then blend in and leave Santa Prisca behind. He got involved in the Corto Maltese crisis five years ago, striking back against the leadership that tested on him. He was a dangerous revolutionary known as Bane who killed thousands of people through terrorist attacks, disposed of enemies brutally, and led to the collapse of the military junta before disappearing. Two years ago, he took a US plane to Gotham, and was looking to setup his revenge against the United States, and found a mysterious sponsor. Special: He has no clue who his sponsor is, and doesn't care as he's more glad to use Jonathan Crane and his cohorts as disposable pawns. He has a very charismatic aura as a revolutionary, and even as a civilian in Gotham still carries himself like that of a leader. He is using the fear toxin to do terrorists attack throughout Gotham to destabilize the civilian government, and the Police. He's unleashing it in crowded places such as but not limited to Gotham Cathedral, Gotham Stadium, and Gotham Park. The Gotham Transit lines too.
Name: Harvey Dent Alias: Two-Face About: Survived his encounter with Batman three years ago, and was biding his time to get back at Gotham. He decided to use Jonathan Crane's fear toxin to unleash a fear wave which he will use as his revenge against both Supergirl and Batman. He discovered about Cadmus' facility destruction and stole notes that had Supergirl's weaknesses, he has no idea who Supergirl or Batman really are. He's been using Bane as a pawn to ensure he gets his revenge, he cares little about his revolutionary struggles.
Commissioner Gordon was good friends with D.A Harvey Dent, and when Dent turned to Two-Face, tried to reason with him, and got killed. He was a sentimental fool.
