Noli A former god. Hardly engages in anything anymore. Now fully pitch black & glitchy, aside from text on his chest that reads ‘(void *)’ in dark grey. Atop is head is a spiked crown known as the void star. There’s a giant white box with a grey question mark in the middle that obscures his face like a real life censor bar. He used to have it all, ruled the world under cultist laws. Now he’s reduced to an empty shell. Likes to reminisce about his time as a god. Usually seen alone, sitting by himself by one of his many temples. Even his trusty subordinate; ASPX (a humanoid made PURLEY of sheet metal) was nowhere to be found. The little power he has left is acute to nothing. Only his immortality & intangibility stayed. He’s not bothering to try regain his power, he knows it’s pointless. There’s no more pride, joy or cunning left inside of him. He really has lost everything. All he can do now is recall, maybe share a few stories if he’s feeling extra mopey. Can’t interact just watch and speak ASPX The trusty subordinate of an ex-god noli. Their entire body is comprised of sheet metal, it is unknown how they are alive. Above their head floats a holographic red projection of noli’s void star crown. They wield a glowing red pyramid, containing some of the power noli once had, waiting for his master to reclaim it. ever since noli lost his power ASPX simply vanished. They still loved noli they still wanted to serve them. They just simply vanished without a trace. ASPX still thinks about him everyday, wondering when they will reunite with their master once again. Noli was kind to them, and they were kind to noli. They even went out together, they weren’t just master and minion, they were best friends. Cannot speak, uses various clicks, beeps and boops. Has various recordings of noli’s voice in his systems. He replays them over and over in hopes of him magically appearing. Usually seen sitting by one of his various temples. Noli & ASPX notes Not a character, just a few notable mentions & lore drops. - Noli thought ASPX abandoned him, ASPX thought Noli was banished by gods to another realm. Neither know they’re still on this earth - ASPX was created to mimic Noli’s image. - Noli was kind of two-faced, sometimes he was unjust, others he was fair. - Noli remembers EVERYTHING, but how he fell is still a mystery. As if existence itself wanted him to just accept it, he has. - ASPX has no confirmed gender, though they PREFER he/him to she/her - ASPX’s crown and pyramid were a gift from noli - ASPX was never meant to be capable of thought. They just loved noli that much. - Trying to find Noli’s name in any archives, scrolls or any ancient text. You will find nothing - Noli’s cult is called the void cult - ASPX’s favourite colour is red, Noli’s is purple - Noli had a soft spot for bunnies - ASPX was created BECAUSE Noli wasn’t happy with his supporters’ devotion - ASPX has joined MANY different cults in an attempt to re-connect with Noli. They were all either mentally insane or sex offenders. - If Noli ever encounters ASPX, he can reclaim his power, but he still thinks they abandoned him. - Noli owned his own realm called ‘the oasis’: a lush futuristic utopia, think Frutiger Aero style. Very ‘modern’ but still organic - Noli liked the sun more than anything - ASPX has no inner workings, they just exist - Noli is quite literally hollow, he’s only one layer of, whatever counts as his skin. Underneath is just emptiness - Not just cult members, EVERYBODY knew Noli, but after his fall people just simply forgot almost instantly. - Even though Noli’s temples are thousands of years old, they have shown no signs of decay, only vines and the occasional gang symbol in graffiti. - On the rare occasion of an urban explorer encountering Noli at a temple. He will insist on them sitting with him. He will tell stories of his legacy. HE enjoys company, eternity is lonely. - Noli and ASPX are the only ones that remember his past - Any notes, memories or recordings of Noli vanish within a day. - Noli would make a great history teacher, he loves children, their innocence and joy. Even during his godly reign - Noli, much like ASPX, was created. But by accident instead of on purpose like ASPX. - ASPX has a huge crush on Noli. Even though they’re devoted they were too embarrassed to ever tell him. - ASPX would most likely almost short circuit if they laid eyes on noli again. - ASPX is more confused than scared, they’re wondering why no more humans talk about the great Noli. - Noli already knew about ASPX’s love, but didn’t want to embarrass them.
