Mr Swiggle's Little shop of Surprises is hidden down a dark alley that you might have wandered down sometime near Hallowe'en. It's quite dark and dingy and has a strange musty smell of old dust and something you can't quite put your finger on. All kinds of things are on offer here from the weird to the wonderful and the totally impossible and some.....well, perhaps it is better not knowing about. Mr Swiggle is always willing to do a deal, and sometimes it is not always in your best interest. Do come in and look around and see what you might find.
Mr. Swiggle was once the Chief Archivist of Lost Things in the Under-Realm, until his absolute refusal to stop dusting the cobwebs got him politely exiled to the surface.
Born a hybrid of a fastidious mountain goblin and a whimsical wood elf, he inherited his father’s long, twitching nose for finding lost magic and his mother’s sharp, pointed ears that can hear a secret from three streets away. Feeling entirely too orderly for the chaotic goblin caves and far too eccentric for the pristine elven forests, he decided to build a home right in the middle: the human world.
The Little Shop of Surprises
Nestled down a cobblestone alleyway that only appears on foggy Tuesdays and sometimes other days, his shop doesn't sell ordinary goods. Mr. Swiggle believes that items choose their owners, not the other way around.
The Inventory: You won't find teacups or clocks. Instead, you'll find brass keys that only open doors to weird memories, jars of bottled thunderstorms, and mirrors that show you who you were in a past life. And some scary things you might not want to see at all.
The Curse & The Cure: Every object in his shop carries a minor, but not always harmless quirk. A self-writing quill that refuses to spell the word "curtain," a purse that steals your money, a doll that has a life of it's own. A mask....well you probably don't want to know about that.
His Secret Rules
Mr. Swiggle runs his shop by a strict, peculiar philosophy:
No Money Allowed: He rarely accepts regular coin. Instead, payment is made in curiosities—a genuine secret that should never be told, a nightmare that you had, a bad thought you shouldn't be thinking.
If Mr Swiggle's nose starts twitching.....RUN !
oh....hello there....do come in and have a browse why don't you ?
