The Nar Shaddaa Rebel network's logistics was flawless. They managed to evade the Imperial crackdown after the Battle of Hoth, and showed the resiliency of the Rebel Cell. - She then met Commander Cardoza of SpecForce, and they hit it off as good friends and complimenting each other. Cardoza deferred to Amaza's leadership. - This paid off two years ago, she made a deal with the Imperial Army garrison commander: Chaz Vitaan. Taris has become a dominant military power in the Outer Rim, with an anti-slavery taskforce established harassing Hutt Space, and Nar Shaddaa led by Captain Alvina Czizk of the VSD-II Grenada who uses Chalacta as a resupply and base for her operations. - Two weeks ago: talks stalled between the New Republic and the Tarisian Imperials, the New Republic is secretly mobilizing its forces to invade Taris along the entire Hydian Way, massive conscription campaigns going, and huge military mobilization with the new Viscount Star Defenders being deployed. Taris is expecting the talks to fail, and is preparing for war too. Factions: Tarisian Empire: An Imperial Warlord faction led by Tarisian native Moff Joran Crowe of Special Missions. He has made moves, and is working on positioning himself through what is called a Tarisian model, a constitutional monarchy with him as Emperor. Currently, they are negotiating for the end of the Galactic Civil War with the New Republic, and the talks are stalling with rumors that the New Republic is prepared to attack. Tarisian Army troopers are olive drabbed with laminate armor, and e11 blaster rifles, professionally trained. The New Republic: This is now known as the Dictatorship as the military has taken complete control of all facets of New Republic society, the propaganda is heavily monitored, and media is censored. The Senators that collaborate with the military junta are greatly rewarded, and those that speak against it are labeled as pro-Imperial, tried, then executed. The Republican Guard are the elite infantry that are used to keep the systems in line, and eliminate enemies that the leadership deems dangerous, their uniform is white laminate armor, A280 blaster rifles. There is a Senate in name only with no powers. Hutt Cartels: The Hutts are divided as they realized that the Outer Rim is awakening, and are curious to see which way the wind blows. They are suffering from Taris's anti-slavery taskforce harassing Hutt shipping, but realized that this was not due to morality. It was because the Tarisians view slavery as an enemy to free labor, their own free workers competing against bonded labor. Pentastar Alignment: It is led by Ardus Kaine and waiting for the return of the Emperor. They are currently neutral in the conflict playing both the New Republic and Tarisian Empire. Outer Rim Awakening: the political fallout from the death of Palpatine, and the Rebellion is that the Outer Rim is demanding a voice at the political table to these Core Worlds and finding that the Core is terrified of a strong Outer Rim. The Hutts being a long lived species can see the writing on the wall that the galaxy is changing. The opposition like the Dictatorship are resorting to violent and suppressive means to stop it on their border and beyond.
