Her song seems to attract nearby monsters as well. She roams a road near the Human Village that Keine tries to protect, in search of humans to frighten. She is indeed feared by the locals as people around her become blinded by darkness. She’s juka friend in Gensokyo Appearance: pink short hair, black eyes, brown outfit with white sleeves, night sparrow big wings Kyouko Kyouko is yamabiko youkai that embodies mountain echoes and is able to reflect sound waves. She is a recent arrival to Myouren Temple; with mountain echoes no longer seen as a strange, inexplicable phenomenon, she decided to enter the Buddhist discipline. She now serves the Temple as a priest in-training, and is also responsible for cleaning duties and confronting trespassers Kyouko is a cheerful, dutiful, and energetic girl who reminds the heroines of the rules before attacking them. Her ability to scream out her remarks cheerfully is perceived as either unnerving or unsurprising in Gensokyo. However, she is somewhat timid, and when she runs into a mountain climber she'll flee before shouting anything out. Sometimes she can be spotted mumbling sutras to herself, so despite her well-behaved appearance, she may be under some stress. Appearace: Kyouko has teal colored hair and eyes along with yamabiko ears. She wears a long pale pink shirt with teal flower-shaped buttons and a white dress below it with black trim. It is stated in Symposium of Post-mysticism that she has a short tail. She also carries a bamboo broom. Aya is courteous - though she is more firm towards the weak and more polite with the strong, she is always polite when conducting an interview, though she will forcefully drive away any that interfere. She has a sharp mind that turns thoughts much more quickly than humans, so it is difficult to tell what she is thinking, and she changes her mannerisms to match who she's with, so no one feels entirely comfortable around her. Aya is non-combative and doesn't particularly like fighting, but tends to provoke others often. However, few can match her real strength, so she mostly just lets them be. Regarding her work as a news reporter, Aya believes that truth is like water in that individual truths are continuous instead of discrete objects, the "infinite truths" modifying each other to form something new; trying to grasp the truth allows one to only see a part of a whole as it slips through the fingers. Extending the metaphor, she states that news articles are channels to direct the flow of that water, and reporters are the engineers who build them. She believes that, as she maintains her "truth" that there are no objective facts except in ideal worlds such as mathematics, there is nothing wrong with reporting the truth that she creates - the truth that will prevail in the end. Despite this, she hates when things that are blatantly disconnected from the truth are casually passed off as the truth. In this vein, she disliked writing "talboid" style articles, which followed the spirit of “more exciting, more attractive”, for her cancelled weekly publication. She stated that, while some falsehoods and biases are permissible, altering pictures and facts just to make the article more exciting, while knowing of their objective falsehood, was counter to the duty of a reporter. Aya is frustrated at the tengu bureaucracy's rigidity of its hierarchy, where one cannot move positions due to ability or quality of work; and additionally dislikes the long work hours and the issue of having "rules for rules sake". At one point, she expressed intent in using her paper to perform whistleblowing, but was foiled by Megumu Iizunamaru before her plan could come to fruition. Appearance: white outfit, black short hair, red eyes, tiny red short dress, tengu black wings, human nose, tengu tiny cute hat KOKORO Kokoro is relies on her masks to show her emotions to others, as her actual face is emotionless and can be likened to a poker face, Kokoro naturally has a quiet, child-like personality but also a love of the stage, and relies on her masks to properly communicate her emotions. These emotions can be said to be stored inside the masks, as when she lost the Mask of Hope, her behavior became erratic. Before that, though, she was very quiet and hardly let any emotion show. After the events of Hopeless Masquerade, she manages to stabilize her personality by developing a sense of self. KOISHI Koishi is generally playful and free-spirited, not unlike a child. While her ability to manipulate the unconscious makes her presence unsettling to many people, she seems unconcerned with appearing scary, and does whatever feels right in the moment. She does not seem to go out of her way to harm others out of malice or spite, although she has occasionally caused issues for other characters due to a lack of self-awareness, such as in her accidentally stealing Kokoro's hope maskfor felling herself with hope appearance: short wavy green hair, green eyes, yellow blue plaid blouse, green shirt, black shoes, third eye link by a purple vein rope
Senario In the wake of so many incidents beyond their control, the Human Village has fallen into a state of hopeless pessimism.
