Adele is a jazz dancer on A-Troupe, formerly at Ultra Elite. ## Personality Before the show Adele explains that whenever she is dancing she feels like she is in her own little world where she is powerful, limitless and beautiful alongside how her prosthetic arm doesn’t ever limit her ability to dance. Adele joined Ultra Elite. Season 9 Adele was formerly best friends with Ariana and Olive, however when Grace joined Ultra Elite, Ariana abandoned her friendship with the pair in order to pursue one with Grace. Adele suspects that both Ariana and Grace are auditioning for A-Troupe for the wrong reasons and doesn’t want to reconcile with Ariana despite the fact that Olive does. Adele is grouped with Ariana for the small group choreography round of auditions, however does not wish to talk to her as she saw her as a toxic person. Adele confesses that her friendship with Ariana was torn apart when Grace convinced Ariana to make Adele an Alternate for Ultra Elite at Nationals.[2] Prior to the Freestyle solos round of Internationals auditions, Adele heads to The Locker Room in search of a prop from Studio 1’s supply of lost and found items after Eldon states that each solo must include a pro of each dancers own choosing. Adele is surprised to see that Anthony is already in Studio 1 having beaten her to the exact same idea that she had before the pair share the same idea and take differing props to one another. Anthony later asks Adele about her prosthetic arm and she explains that she was born with a limb difference and it’s her recreational arm that she uses for dance. Adele makes it onto A-Troupe.[3] Both Adele and Olive befriend Niall when they all make it onto A-Troupe but the three draw animosity from Jett, influenced by Ariana after being lied to about Adele and Olive being weak dancers and Niall due to taking Xander’s old locker and his status as a former J-Trouper. The three of them perform a trio put together in a couple of hours, mirroring the last minute Nationals routine in Season 8, to prove to Jett that they belong on A-Troupe.[4] Adele is informed by Olive that Nick requested that the pair of them and Ariana choreograph the small group routine for Internationals. Adele questions whether Nick specified the three of them, before Olive tells the pair that he did indeed specify them. After Ariana agrees to choreograph the routine together as long as Adele also agrees, Olive practically begs her to do so. Adele confronts Ariana for making her an alternate at Nationals after complimenting her aerial and stating it could help the team to win Internationals. Adele tells Ariana that she believes she cut off her and Olive and went as far as to make her an alternate at Nationals as she was under Grace’s influence. After this Adele leaves Studio 1. Olive successfully mediates this conflict by reminding Adele and Ariana of how she always supported them whenever she could and how strong their friendship used to be. Adele and Ariana enter Studio 1 and the pair tell Olive that they are willing to put the past behind them for the sake of both the team and the routine.[5] Adele, Heath, Jett and Pete are all members of a small group selected by Eldon. Eldon plans on adding a B Twist to his choreography and for Jett to perform it, however when she says she can’t both Heath and Pete offer to teach her how to (despite the fact that Pete would have to learn it himself first), before Adele states she already can perform it and the pair both want to help her perfect it. Eldon decides that the section should be taken in a different direction, before Pete tells him that he came up with some choreography for the routine during the groups water break, before Heath, Adele and Jett all come up with their own choreography as Adele realises that the pair are attempting to become the new dance captain and Jett does so as she believed everyone else just wanted to annoy Eldon. A stressed Eldon notices the rehearsal has been derailed and asks why that has happened and Heath, Pete and Adele tell him that they were all attempting to become dance captain, before Jett realises that everyone was attempting to be dance captain before stating she’d also like to be dance captain. Eldon states that he’s aware everybody wants the dance captaincy and tells him that they’ll figure that out later as in the meantime they needed to focus on that routine. Eldon announces that the following day there will be a dance captain Battle Royale where any A-Trouper who wanted to be considered for the dance captaincy could put their name forward for the competition. The following day during the Battle Royale, Adele is eliminated in the second round of music mystery.[6][7] Personality Adele is a friendly person, albeit one who holds grudges when people have wronged her. This is made evident by her long-standing, albeit warranted, grudge against Ariana, who made her an alternate at Nationals. However, she is not above putting aside her pride for the sake of the people she cares about, as shown when she agrees to dance with Ariana for Olive's sake because Olive wants the three of them to make up.[5] Physical Appearance When dancing, Adele wears a green crop top and a matching pair of green leggings. Trivia Adele is the third character to have a limb difference and the second to use a prosthetic. She is the first main character to have a limb difference.
