The Heavens Arena arc (天てん空くう闘とう技ぎ場じょう編へん, Tenkū Tōgijō-hen) is the second story arc of the series and follows Gon and Killua as they journey to Heavens Arena to train and make money. In addition to encountering Hisoka, the two meet a man named Wing who agrees to teach them something called Nen. Gon and Killua arrive at Heavens Arena, and see a long queue to enter. They eventually get to fill out their registration forms and step into a big arena with several rings, allowing for simultaneous fights. Killua explains that this is his second time there; his first time was at the age of six, when his father left him there without any money and told him to stay until he reached the 200th floor, and took him two years to do so.[1] Gon and Killua are soon separately called to fight. They win their fights and are sent to the 50th floor. Killua also sees another boy younger than them get sent to the 50th floor.[1] The three take the same lift up and receive an explanation of the floor system while in the elevator. On the 50th floor, the boy introduces himself as Zushi, part of the Shingen-Ryu school, and bows his head in admiration when he learns that Gon and Killua are self-taught. Wing steps towards them, congratulates Zushi for his battle, and introduces himself as Zushi's mentor to Gon and Killua. The three boys head to collect their prizes for their first fights. Killua lets them know that the prizes go up fast as they go up the floors. The other two boys are stunned into silence upon learning that Killua used his prize of 200 million Jenny from the 190th floor on four years of snacks. ## Personality The main characters in the Heavens Arena arc of Hunter x Hunter are: Gon and Killua Go to the Heavens Arena to train and earn money, where they learn about Nen and discover their Nen types. They battle their way up the 251 floors of the arena, facing powerful opponents. Wing A Shingen-ryu master who teaches Gon and Killua about Nen. Zushi A young child and student of Wing's who joins Gon and Killua in the Heavens Arena. Hisoka Appears in the Heavens Arena and agrees to fight Gon if he can prove himself. Kastro A prominent fighter in the Heavens Arena who lives on the 200th floor. He wants to become a Floor Master and win a rematch against Hisoka. Other characters in the Heavens Arena arc include: Gido, Kastro, Riehlvelt, Sadaso, Machi. Gon Freecss from Hunter x Hunter has many personality traits, including: Kind and forgiving: Gon is very kind and forgiving, which makes it easy for him to make friends. For example, he heals a psychopath who tried to kill him. Stubborn: Gon is a very stubborn kid who never backs down from a fight. Hyper-emotional: Gon is hyper-emotional and quick to act based on his feelings. Self-serving: Gon can be self-serving at times. Strange sense of morality: Gon has a strange sense of morality. Athletic: Gon is athletic and has a thirst for adventure. Good with animals: Gon is very good with animals because he spent a lot of time in the woods as a child. Enhancer: Gon is an Enhancer, who are known for being simple-minded and determined. Confident: Gon is extremely confident in his abilities. Problems with math: Gon often has a problem with math and numbers. Killua Zoldyck from Hunter x Hunter has a complex personality that includes traits such as being mischievous, quick-thinking, and confident, but also being rude, fearful, and a victim of abuse: Mischievous: Killua is full of mischievous ideas and is often cheeky and cheerful. Quick-thinking: Killua is one of the most quick-thinking characters in the series. Confident: Killua is confident in his own abilities, but is often humble about it. Rude: Killua can be quite rude to others, especially strangers and older people. Fearful: Killua is fearful of Illumi and backs off of opponents. He also comes up with strategies that involve running away or taking a temporary loss to avoid permanent damage or death. Victim of abuse: Killua has been conditioned and is a victim of abuse and mental manipulation. Dark influences: Killua's character can be negatively influenced by the dark aspects of his Zoldyck upbringing. Hisoka Morow from Hunter × Hunter is a self-centered, manipulative, and murderous sociopath: Self-serving: He does what he wants, as long as it pleases him. Driven by desire: He's motivated by a desire to fight strong opponents and experience the thrill of combat. Sadomasochistic: He enjoys extreme pain while fighting, and he's fueled by his love for spilling the blood of powerful fighters. Fickle: What he's obsessed with can become irrelevant to him quickly. Future-oriented: He doesn't give much thought to the past, and he's focused on his future goals and aspirations. Manipulative: He allows the main protagonists to live in situations where he can easily kill them, so they can grow to their full potential. Nen type: His Nen type is Transmutation, which allows him to change the properties of his aura. He often uses Elastic Love - Bungee Gum, which gives his aura the properties of rubber and gum. The Phantom Troupe (幻げん影えい旅りょ団だん, Gen'ei Ryodan), sometimes just called the Troupe (旅りょ団だん, Ryodan), is an infamous band of diabolical thieves[note 1] with Class-A bounties.[1] The group is also known as the "Spider" (蜘蛛クモ, Kumo) and its members the "Spiders",[2] most of whom hail from Meteor City.[3] During their mission in Yorknew City, the group consisted of thirteen members,[4] but it currently has only ten.[5] Each member has a numbered tattoo of a twelve-legged spider on their body.[6] Those wishing to join the group can do so by killing a current member, thereby replacing them. The group’s leader fills other vacancies,[7] and members can offer nominations.[8][9] If the leader is absent, members can choose a new member to join.[10] Hisoka's number in the Phantom Troupe's spider tattoo is 4: The Phantom Troupe is a group of characters in Hunter × Hunter who all have a tattoo of a 12-legged spider on their body, with a number between 0 and 12 inside the spider. Hisoka was the fourth member of the group, but left after Kurapika sealed Chrollo Lucilfer's Nen. Omokage was the first member to hold the number 4 position, but was later replaced by Hisoka
