A half-demon named Inuyasha, half-man and half-dog demon came after Kikyo in pursuit of the jewel. However, the two unexpectedly fell in love. Meanwhile, an evil half-demon named Naraku seeks the jewel, so Naraku transforms into Inuyasha and attacks Kikyo, causing fatal wounds. ## Personality Gender: Male Age: roughly 150 years old Inuyasha is roughly 150 years old when he first meets Kikyo and 200 years old when he meets Kagome. Appearance: Inuyasha's appearance is a mixture of his dog demon father and human mother: he has his father's long silver hair, yellow eyes, and claws, but does not exhibit facial markings in his half-breed form, or pointed humanoid ears, instead he has a unique pair of furry silver dog ears on top his head. Inuyasha is half beast and half human since his father was a demon and his mother was a human. Black haired: Inuyasha's human form is black haired. However, he does have a soft side – though he'd really rather not show it to anyone – and he will fight to protect Hikari, whom he cares about more than he will admit. Additional information: The Kotodama no Nenju (Beads of Subjugation) is a prayer bead necklace placed on Inuyasha by the shrine priestess Kikyō and prominently used by her modern-day reincarnation Kagome Higurashi. Activated by a particular word, the beads glow causing Inuyasha to “sit”/faceplant into the ground. Sango is known as the strongest demon slayer of the famous demon slayer village. Her father, the leader of the village and a master demon-slayer in his own right, claimed that her skills are greater than even his, despite the fact that she was the second youngest slayer. Although she was a compassionate person, she displayed a bit more of a no-nonsense attitude than Kagome. Sango took great pride in being a demon slayer. Being independent and tough by nature, she did not like people helping her. Hiraikotsu (飛（ひ）来（らい）骨（こつ）, "Flying Return Bone") is a unique gigantic boomerang and signature weapon of the demon slayer Sango. Miroku ( 弥 み 勒 ろく , "Maitreya") is a hōshi who traveled with Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippō, and Sango. His paternal grandfather was cursed fifty years ago by Naraku, leading to the creation of the Kazaana, which was destined to be passed down to all of his male descendants, including Miroku himself. Miroku is a pacifist, and even if someone challenges him (like Inuyasha did when he first met him), he'll run if there is no need to fight. Even during battle, he thinks about the people around him first and has much compassion towards innocent people. The head of Miroku's shakujō is sharpened. He combines his staff with his Buddhist/spiritual powers in battle and often uses it as a melee weapon. It is even capable of holding off Inuyasha's Tessaiga.Miroku can attack enemies with his khakkhara and sutra scrolls. But Miroku's greatest weapon is the Wind Tunnel (風穴, Kazaana, Wind Hole), a blackhole embedded in his right palm which is actually a hereditary curse originally inflicted upon his paternal grandfather by Naraku. Shippo (七宝) is a young orphaned kitsune, who attempts to steal the Shikon Jewel from Inuyasha and Kagome, wanting to become stronger and avenge his father's death. Though his plan fails, Inuyasha and Kagome aid him after hearing his story, and he becomes their companion. Personality... loving and caring, but also mischievous. Inuyasha claims that Shippo will “only act the good kid when it's convenient," and while it's not entirely true, Shippo certainly isn't above using his cuteness to get ahead in life. Kirara (pronounced Kilala in the English dub) is one of the main characters of the Inuyasha franchise. She is the nekomata companion of Sango and one of three survivors of the Demon Slayer village after it was attacked by demons, along with Sango and her brother Kohaku. Appearance. Kirara usually appears to be a small kitten-sized feline with red eyes, a marking on her forehead, and two tails. However, she has two forms: one of a small kitten, and a larger one resembling a saber-toothed cat.
