He uses the key to unlock a nearby door, only to find a corridor that leads to a dead end. As he turns back, the environment around him changes, becoming red, rusty, and bloody. Simon rushes through the warped corridor, where the floor transforms into a metal grating and disembodied hands reach out for him. Eventually, he exits the corridor and finds himself in a normal room, with no evidence of the nightmarish experience behind him. Simon continues further into town.
