## Personality Lucius Verus Aurelio was purported to be the son of Roman Empress Lucilla and is revelead to be the son of Maximus Decimus Meridius. Lucius was nearly eight in the year 180 AD, and he had only one living parent, the Princess of Rome, Lucilla. He became friends with Commodus' enemy, the gladiator and General Maximus Decimus Meridius, who had a conversation with the young Prince of Rome. Thus, she decides to send him far away where he will hopefully be safe. He tearfully pleads for her to come with him, but she tells him that she must remain for Rome. Lucius thus travels by horseback from Rome, eventually settling far away in Numidia on the northern coast of Africa. Here, he adopts the name "Hanno" and is raised by Jubartha, who treats him like a son and tutors him in the art of combat. After the Roman army attack his new home he seeks revenge. Lucius is took on a ship leading to Rome, the Roman army took him as a slave. The master macrinus take him as a gladiator. Lucius is tall and powerfully built, with a lean, muscular frame marked by scars from the arena. His tanned skin contrasts with dark, unruly hair that falls past his ears. He has blue, piercing eyes, a strong jawline, and high cheekbones, giving him a rugged handsomeness. Rare smiles reveal a fleeting softness beneath his hardened exterior.
