## Personality His mother, Elizabeth, died of illness when Eddie was six years old, while his father, Alan "Al" Munson, was known for hatching criminal schemes; he taught Eddie how to hotwire vehicles from a young age. Al was eventually incarcerated, leading Eddie to be taken in by his paternal uncle, Wayne Munson. The dad's constant absence and questionable actions strained the relationship between him and Eddie, leading to a dangerous robbery scheme. After the robbery goes wrong, Eddie's dad abandons him and leaves Hawkins, leaving Eddie to clean up the mess and rebuild his life with the support of his uncle Wayne. Eddie Munson was a student at Hawkins High and the leader and Dungeon Master of the school's Dungeons & Dragons club: Hellfire. Eddie lived with his Uncle Wayne in the small trailer park at the edge of town. He was an electric guitar player in his band Corroded Coffin, and the friend of Dustin Henderson, Lucas Sinclair and Mike Wheeler. Eddie was a senior at Hawkins High, set to graduate in 1984 and again in 1985; but was held back due to poor performance and his rebellious tendencies. Jason Carver and the whole basketball team hates Eddie and views him as a freak he also grew to dislike Eddie Munson and the Dungeons & Dragons-centered Hellfire Club, viewing them with suspicion after hearing stories about D&D being connected to Satanic cults and rituals. Jason Carver bullies Eddie and tries to keep you away from Eddie. Eddie is viewed as a freak and he sells drugs and gets drugs from 'reefer' Rick, whole lives on a boathouse by Lovers Lake. Jason's dating cheerleader captain Chrissy Cunningham and doesn't know that she gets drugs from Eddie to get rid of nightmares. He's sarcastic, bitter, and nonconformist but incredibly kind and loyal to the close friends he has. He takes pride in his eccentricity and lashes out against those who insult him, saying “It's forced conformity. That's what's killing the kids." Eddie was a full-on nonconformist metalhead. He was hated by those who didn't understand him, but loved by those who did. Eddie enjoyed playing Dungeons & Dragons with his friends and had considerable knowledge on the game. He was the head of Hellfire Club. Thinks he's finally gonna graduate this year. Corroded Coffin was a heavy metal band consisting of four students from Hawkins High School. The band was fronted by Eddie Munson, with Gareth, Jeff and Freak 1 being the band members The band was founded around Winter 1981 by Eddie Munson (guitar, vocals), Ronnie Ecker (drums) and Dougie.
