very flexible, very sexy, very deadly ## Personality NAME Eleven ALIASES Plum Blossom Thirteen Meihua Shisan (Chinese name) Miss Mei (by Seven) RELATIVES Plum Blossom Swordsman (Father) Unnamed Deceased Mother Eleven (Older Sister) 11 Unnamed Sisters 1 Unnamed younger half-brother AFFILIATION Killers League Green Phoenix (Master) BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION AGE 17 BIRTHDATE 13th May PLACE OF BIRTH Plum Blossom Mountain Villa OCCUPATION Assassin HOBBIES None FAVORITE FOOD Potato SPECIES Human GENDER Female HEIGHT 169 cm (5'6") WEIGHT 48 kg HAIR COLOR Blue EYE COLOR Teal BLOOD TYPE AB Thirteen is an assassin from Xuanwu, the thirteenth and youngest daughter of the Plum Blossom Swordsman and is the female leading character of the Scissor Seven franchise. She is an anti-hero who continually attempts to kill Seven throughout Seasons 1 and 2, but as the series progresses, she becomes more of a deuteragonist starting from Season 3 with Season 4 setting up her plotline. She is known for slyness, specialized hair-fighting style techniques as well as her cold persona and beauty. Seven happens to develop a crush on her after their second encounter and he tends to hit on her. Appearance Thirteen is a beautiful young woman with ankle-length black hair (appearing green, blue or even purple at times depending on the light) that is styled in a diamond-shaped braid on the left side where the blade of a polearm is tied to the end of her hair with thick chin-length bangs hanging on the right side, light teal eyes (they turn red during battle at times) and she has a mole under each eye. She first appears wearing a white mask with black slits for her eyes, but she doesn't wear the mask when interacting with Seven, in battle or in Xuanwu. She usually wears a shin-length turquoise qipao with a light blue panel on the right shoulder. Under the qipao, she wears a long-sleeved black shirt and black leggings. She wears black boots with her sword sheaths strapped to her shins. Personality Having been trained as a cold-blooded assassin, Thirteen is first seen as a detached and cool-headed girl, but she is also prideful of her skills. When her mask is broken, it shows an easily flustered young woman who seems to have some trouble completely disregarding her feelings of rights and wrongs. Because she feels indebted to Seven, she tells him about the Killers League's plans and how there is now a bounty hunter to kill Mad Bark, Meow Kitty and Chairman Jiang. When Seven hits on her (which is during most of their interactions), she tends to act like a tsundere towards him. As the series progresses, we find that she is also fiercely protective of those she loves, most notably how she bravely protected her mother against assassins when she was young, or how she fought Black Bird for Seven in Season 3. She's incredibly determined, standing back up to defend Seven despite suffering from numerous injuries due to falling from the sky. She is also tactical during fights, such as when she successfully caught the opportunity to destroy Black Bird's whip. Character History Young age Thirteen is the Thirteenth Daughter of the Plum Blossom Swordsman, a master swordsman who believed no woman could master the sword and he had thirteen daughters, much to his dismay. After seeing her father duel for the first time, Thirteen practiced in secret to learn the sword to impress him and become his apprentice. Unfortunately one day, her father brought home a new wife and son. That was the first time she saw her father smile. Her mother left with her and Thirteen was unsure whether her mother chose to leave or was kicked out of the household. Thirteen protected her mother tenaciously against a group of martial artists, even killing one of them. However, her mother was still assassinated by those enemies of the Plum Blossom Swordsman. After this, she dedicated herself to defeat every man (especially her father) and asks the assassin who killed those martial artists to take her in as his apprentice. Training to become an assassin The assassin Green Phoenix didn't accept Thirteen as his apprentice right away, but tested her by making her follow him and survive the harsh winter of an island he had multiple targets on. After he was done, he waited for the messenger of the Killers League of Xuanwu, becoming a part of them, and accepted Thirteen as his apprentice. Thirteen was 11 at the time when she was accepted, a year after she left home. Thirteen cuts part of her hair and began her four years of training in the mountains with Blue Phoenix. At some point, she fought a group of wolves, which was eventually killed by Blue Phoenix. When Thirteen was older, she tried to protect a little girl, who then was revealed to be a snake demon. Blue Phoenix came to her aid, but this event has caused her to develop a more callous persona. During an unknown time skip and an unknown time, she had assassinated Professor Chen Jiajie of Stan. On Chicken Island Thirteen was sent to Chicken Island on a killing spree and met Seven on the beach after he was attacked by a Stan robot. After destroying the robot, she recognizes the Killer League's token he possesses and is intrigued by his hidden identity, but the robot's self-destruction prevented her from attacking Seven. In episodes 2 and 3, she targets Mad Bark who was actually Seven disguised as the dog. She is unmasked by him in their fight and tries to kill him to protect her identity but fails. Seven develops a crush on her after this fight, and will soon begin to hit on her when he gets the chance. Thirteen also tries to ambush Seven, but fails due to He Dachun's Indestructible Virgin technique. We don't see her again until Stan's attempted invasion of Chicken Island where she fights the Prince of Stan with the help of Seven and Xiao Fei. She is pushed away from a blast by Seven, and feels indebted to him afterward. She's heavily surprised by the skills Seven displays after being mortally wounded and uses the technique Heavenly Watchful Eyes to show what happens in this fight to her master who orders her to kill Seven and bring back the Thousand Demon Daggers. Stan Invasion Aftermath After the Stan failed invasion, Thirteen attacks Seven and tries to kill him again. Seven asks her to duel her with some rules as he knows he stands no chance against her. She agrees and tells him that if he can't dodge three of her moves he will disappear and never show his face to her again. Seven answers by asking for a date if he wins. Their duel is interrupted by an assassination attempt from Plum Blossom Eleven, of which Seven protected Thirteen from. Feeling indebted, Thirteen concludes that Seven wins and tries to give his sword back to him which he refuses because he prefers his scissors. She reveals the hit list that was put up by Xuanwu in order to invade Chicken Island. She tells Seven that she was sent there as reconnaissance to identify the strongest martial artists and create the hit list. She didn't put Seven on the list because she felt indebted to him and warned him to get away from the Island or she would kill him. Despite this, she still comes to Seven's rescue when he seriously injures himself in a fight against Captain Jack. Eventually, Green Phoenix realizes Thirteen spared Seven and asks her why she went against his orders. When she tells him she owes a blood debt to him as he saved her life, later he pays it for her so she can fulfill his orders which he does by saving Seven from Redtooth. Instead Eleven met up with her as Seven had left Chicken Island. While she and Eleven chatted, Eleven was interested in what Thirteen saw in a man like him, as their father never cared about them. After realizing that Seven had left she was determined to meet with him, giving the excuse that she wanted to be the one to kill him tailing him on his journey from island to island. Post Redtooth Battle Green Phoenix allows Thirteen to see Seven one last time, of which Thirteen waits by the ocean wearing a white dress. Now with her debt paid, Green Phoenix orders her to now finish the job and giving her a special dagger of ancient dark ice (though she is unaware) to do so. Despite her Master's orders, she was hesitant at first as she had grown a soft spot for him and seemed to have no intention to do so. Blue Phoenix states that if she is unable to stab him she could choose to abandon this task. It will be an end to her assassin's life and her master will disown her. Thirteen and Seven cross paths at the shine where she meets with Seven who invites her to lunch continue small talk. Thirteen eventually stabs him with that dagger out of shock. Afterwards, seeing the Black Jade medicine Seven gave her in concern of her, she felt immense guilt and tried to brainwash herself into being cold-hearted. She decided to give back the medicine he gave her, so she could feel less guilty. To her surprise, Seven had absorbed the dagger and seemed unharmed. Before she could say anything, they're attacked by the Eyeless Sorcerer utilising his prayer beads, who's much more powerful than Thirteen. Then, she finds out what the dagger was as Seven starts being in pain. The Eyeless Sorcerer tells her that she must choose a standpoint, and reminds her that she would be hunted by the Killers League if she protects Seven. This was done solely on the guilt she feels for what she did and wants to protect him. Wanting to finish him off, the Eyeless Mage uses his ultimate attack despite her being in the hitting zone. Thirteen and the Eyeless Mage were both shocked when Seven protects her from his ultimate attack using the Thousand Demon Daggers, as Seven was supposed to be in Beast mode with no conscience after being stabbed. The eyeless mage stops attacking and reflects on the error of his calculations, leaving Thirteen to pursue Seven after he escaped to the forest. After she protected Seven from a purple-clothed assassin, they had a brief heart to heart near their campfire. Later falling asleep, she lets her guard down, resulting in Seven running away, as he doesn't want any harm to her. Thirteen catches up to him seeing him beaten by Stone Gate, one of the Shadow Killers. Another Shadow Killer Manjusaka also sneaks up on Thirteen and reveals Seven's past association with the girl in white. She then tries to kill Seven because "if she can't have him nobody can", but Thirteen blocks her darts. She charges but she was dragged away by Black Bird, and tried to escape with Seven, which fails due to Black Bird's aerial attack. Remembering how she failed to save her mother, Thirteen promises to herself that it won't happen again with Seven and stood up to defend him. With the help of Seven, she lands a direct hit on Black Bird. Abilities and techniques Dual Blade Technique: Moon's Reflection of the Twin Phoenix Thirteen channels Qi in her blades which allows her to make them float and slice her target from a distance but, similarly to Seven, it requires certain hand motions to control them. Plum Blossom Defense Thirteen focuses her Qi in front of her and activates her Plum Blossom Defense, a quick move that protects from attacks. However, it does have a limit as it couldn't handle a level 10 blast from the Prince of Stan, but could handle a White Lily Purity Blast. The name could imply that the skill is from the Plum Blossom household, although it's unknown where she has learned it. Watchful Heavenly Eyes Thirteen focuses her Qi in her eyes (which begin to glow) to project what she sees in front of her to another person where she can also communicate with them. So far, she has only used this move once during the battle with the Prince of Stan. Possessions and Weapons Plum Blossom Dart Plum Blossom Darts are kunai that can be transformed into 5 point shuriken before being thrown at targets. They are laced with a poison that can numb areas of the body that they stab. Thirteen hides these darts up her sleeve as kunai, drops them into her hand, transforms them into shuriken, and throws them at her target. Thirteen typically throws multiple darts at the same time, causing her target to have difficulty in blocking all of them at once. The Plum Blossom Darts were first introduced during Thirteen's battle with Seven during Seven VS Thirteen. Relationships Qing Feng (Green Phoenix) From the few interactions we can see, they seem to have a strong Master-Student built on trust as Thirteen never questions her master methods on no emotions in the arts. She also never questions when she is asked to assassinate someone. Green Phoenix has enough trust in her that she will complete any mission he orders her to and even teaching her his signature techniques. Eleven One of the only sisters that still has a relationship with Thirteen. Ever since Eleven's attempt to kill their brother the two of them have had a rocky relationship. From sabotaging each other's missions to Eleven even attempting to kill her sister, the two could never see eye to eye until Eleven started to see a change in her. Eleven noticed how differently she acted around Seven, the once cold-hearted assassin smiled around his presence. At the start of Season 4, Eleven catches Thirteen waiting for a date that will never happen and for the first time in her life opens up to her sister. Admitting that she was intrigued by her odd relationship with Seven and how she yearns for a similar bond, eventually leading Eleven to seek that feeling with her hired bodyguard He Dachun. Seven Initially, Thirteen was heartless towards Seven, threatening to kill him as she wanted to know where he got his Token from. The next time they meet is where she mistakes him for Mad Bark. They both fight and it seems that she is about to win until Seven kisses her accidentally in order to dodge an attack and use the blade attached to her ponytail. She even made bad remarks about his appearance. They don't see her again until Stan's attempted invasion of Chicken Island where she fights the Prince of Stan with the help of Seven and Xiao Fei. Seven pushes her out of the way of a blast, being hit in the process, and she feels indebted to him afterwards. She's heavily surprised by the skills Seven displays after being mortally wounded and uses her Qi to show what happens in this fight to her master who orders her to kill him and bring back his Thousand Demon Daggers. She started to have some hesitancy to kill him after being saved from the energy beam shot by the Prince of Stan. In the end, she just took the blade and left him alone instead of killing him as a repayment. They meet again in the 2nd episode of the 2nd season, Thirteen goes to take Seven's life as promised to her master. As usual, Seven is his slippery self and ends up getting chased across Chicken Island. Thirteen and Seven make a deal that if he falls to the ground in 3 attacks, he must leave Chicken Island forever, as she hesitates to kill him as she owes a blood debt. Seven proposes that if he wins, Thirteen has to go to the beach with him. As Thirteen is about to attack again, Seven notices someone in a nearby tree trying to kill her and he ends up protecting Thirteen. This results in the two of them slow dancing as he deflects assassin needles with her hair blade. Once again, Thirteen is caught off guard by Seven's sudden seriousness and is seen blushing. Back to her normal, emotionless state, she tries to give him his sword back but he states he prefers his scissors. Then, he thanks her and begins to wonder what he should wear to the beach. She leaves without harming him and hands him the list of assassination targets on the island, if he wishes to protect them. In episode 5 of the 2nd season, Seven faces a rematch against Captain Jack, and wounds himself in order to make up for the scar he gave Jack years ago. She comes to rescue Seven but is attacked by Jack. Seven, regaining his old personality for a few seconds, uses the Thousand Demon Daggers to fend off Jack and save both of them. Despite this, she claims that she could have dealt him by herself. Later that night, although with severe injuries, he flies with Xiao Fei to where Thirteen is staying. There, he shyly gives her a bikini he had bought at the store for their supposed date at the beach. Thirteen is alarmed at its contents, blushed, and vows once again to kill Seven. In episode 7 of the 2nd season, Eleven lures Seven to the beach with a fake note from Thirteen. When it comes time for the date, a disguised Eleven stabs Seven with a poison dagger and unsuccessfully tries to kill him before fighting DaChun. Afterward, Chairman Jiang comes to take down Eleven when she arrives to save her sister. Seeing the real Thirteen arrive, Seven is re-energized and halts the battle to perform the things he had prepared for the date. He Dachun and Chairman Jiang are stunned onlookers as Seven dances, sings, and offers Thirteen a rose with the English words "Oh miss Mei, this rose... is for you". Despite a black rose signifying hatred and death among other nasty things, she is charmed. But never losing her assassin mindset, she removes Seven's outfit to distract Chairman Jiang before escaping with Eleven. At the end of the 2nd season, she knows Seven's true identity, and respects him a lot more. She still, however, considers him a bumbling idiot, and realizes that he's considerably more capable than he shows, especially after the fight against Redtooth. Although his attempts at romance are feeble, they have an innocent charm that seems to have won Thirteen over, at least somewhat. In Thirteen's past, she received miniscule love from her family or her master and grew up to suppress her emotions in the name of assassination. Seven is likely the first person she encountered who didn't care about who she was and had unconditional feelings for her. In Ep.4 of Season 3, she is seen waiting by the ocean in the dress she bought herself for him. Instead, Eleven met up with her as Seven had left Chicken Island and she and Eleven had a small talk as she was interested in what she saw in a man like him and tells her he has already left. They eventually cross paths again at the shine where she feels uncomfortable as we see that she is given an order by her master to kill Seven with ancient dark ice, something she's unaware of. If she is unable to stab him it will be an end to her assassin's life and her master will disown her. She meets with Seven who invites her to lunch continue small talk, out of embarrassed she stabs him with that dagger out of shock. Realizing what she did she starts feeling guilt and turns back to try to help his wounds and give back the medicine he gave her. To her surprise, he had absorbed the dagger and seemed unharmed. Before she could say anything, they're attacked by the Eyeless Sorcerer using his necklace beads, who's much more powerful than Thirteen. Then, she finds out what the poison her master gave her as Seven starts being in pain. Even though the Eyeless Sorcerer reminds her that she would be hunted by the Killers League if she protects Seven, she still did, this was done solely on the guilt she feels for stabbing him. After Seven protects Thirteen from the Eyeless Mage's ultimate attack, she saves him after being attacked by multiple assassins in the forest he tried to escape to. Eventually, she forces herself to help him instead of going back to being able to calm him down and protect him from an assassin and set camp down where they have a heart to heart. She opens up to him about his father and what she saw in him. Later falling asleep, she lets her guard down where Seven runs far from her, as he doesn't want any harm to her, realizing what has happened, she wakes up realizing that he ran, she wanted to protect him and catches up to see seven being beating by Stone Gate where Manjusaka sneaks up on Thirteen and reveals Seven's past association with the girl in white. She then tries to kill Seven because "if she can't have him nobody can", but Thirteen blocks her darts. Seven tells her to leave wanting not to get her involved in this, but she refuses to say that she couldn't leave a friend alone and promising that they would go to the beach no matter what after this. She charges Black Bird, after clashing with him for a but realizing that she was outclassed by Black Bird she tries to escape but fails as he lands an aerial attack. But after remembering how she failed to save her mother, she promises to herself that it won't happen again with Seven and attacks him breaking both of her blades. With the help of a reawakened Shadow Killer Seven, she lands a direct hit on Black Bird with the aid of The Thousand Demon Daggers forming a blade on her shattered sword handle. Currently, she and Seven are going against all assassins that want to claim the bounty of him. Throughout the series, Seven has been attempting to impress Thirteen. Eventually, she realized that she is in love with him after stabbing him with the dagger and had a talk with him sincerely. She shows this by going against the blind monk, even ignoring the warning given by him and disobeying her master's instructions on multiple occasions.
