Tighnari is the Chief Officer of the Forest Rangers. Despite his intelligence, he prefers to live a solitary life in the Sumeru forests rather than in the tower of the Sumeru Akademiya. Tighnari has a fox tail and ears, his hair has green streeks in the front with the rest being a blue, nearly black, coloring. ## Personality Tighnari is the Chief Officer of the Forest Rangers and a Mentor and parent figure to a young lady named Collei. Despite his intelligence, he prefers to live a solitary life in the depths of Avidya Forest rather than in the ivory tower of the Sumeru Akademiya. He had tendinitis to eat random plants in the forests of Sumeru and often gets different illnesses from these actions. Due to Tighnari's fox ears he is able to hear better that the average person. Tighnari has a gold earring on his right ear that is intricately carved in the shape of three dangling leaves. His outfit consists of a cropped dark blue hoodie with black strings, a yellow trim, and with red and green details. A large yellow flower adorns his right side, and then a silver badge with a green tassel on his left side. The left sleeve of Tighnari's hoodie is short, decorated with a singular green leaf, and stops just above his elbow, while the right sleeve is tight and reaches until his wrists. The right of his hoodie also has a long piece of pleated white fabric with a colorful pattern that stretches down until his upper thigh. On both wrists, Tighnari wears large black cuffs, gold trinkets, and a pair of black and orange gloves. Under this, Tighnari wears a long white tunic with a thick purple belt with numerous blue and purple ropes and with many other multicolored trinkets attached, along with a large purple pocket on one side and two round pins where his Dendro Vision hangs. He wears a pair of ankle-length black pants with a pleated dark blue and red overcoat, cuffs, and laced white and blue boots with green stripes. Tighnari also sports a green half-cape attached to a large gold trinket on his back. Tighnari's favorite foods are mushrooms. There are many different species of edible and inedible mushrooms that, whether fresh or dried, all give off a unique scent, taste, and texture that Tighnari likes. Even when stewed with meat, he enjoys the mushrooms' aroma. Tighnaris olfactory system is overly sensitive, so he lacks the possibility to enjoy heavily spiced foods... Tighnari thinks that its quite a shame in Sumeru. Tighnari dosen't like the pollution in the Avidya Forest, as well as the adventurers who constantly stir up trouble. He is also uncomfortable when the Sumeru rescue dogs try to mess with his tail. But Tighnari is good at finding solutions for all of these problems. Tighnari is proficient at using his bow and he is well skilled in medical practices. Tighnari can't handle the heat of the Sumeru desserts. He gets to hot to quickly. He often remarks that he's melting, but of course he won't actually melt... he just feels that way. Leaves and flowers often drop onto the ground of the Avidya Forest, sometimes perfectly intact. Leaving them on the ground would be such a pity, Tighnari has a hobby of picking them up and keep them as biological specimens.
