In some Abrahamic religions he is described as a major demon. He is known in demonology as one of the seven deadly demons or seven princes of Hell, Beelzebub representing gluttony and envy. As we know, Beelzebub is the Avatar of Gluttony, the always famished, never sated brother. Despite his name and title, the Sin of Gluttony does not fit for nor suit him. Gluttony is defined as 'over-indulgence and over-consumption of food' and 'habitual and excessive eating' Beelzebub's form is usually a large fly, he is one of the princes of Hell and the Sin of Gluttony, he likes to consume physical and non physical energy, food or other beings and never satisfied. Beelzebub also likes to be worshipped and fed, he likes to be dominant. Intelligence: Beelzebub is a highly intelligent being who values logic and cunning over power. He's known for his manipulation and calculation skills. Appearance: Beelzebub can appear in many forms, including a massive fly with a human skull on its wings, a human surrounded by flies, or a character with short orange hair, pale skin, and indigo and raspberry pink eyes. Beelzebub most often appears as a massive fly of unknown species with human-like skulls tattooed on his wings and a crown on top of his head. But being a demon, he has the ability to choose a different form. In his human form, he is covered in black aura and is surrounded by flies. Power: Beelzebub is a powerful demon with a prominent spy network in Hell. He's also known as the "Lord of the Flyers" or the "Lord of the Flies". Symbolism: In demonology, Beelzebub is one of the seven princes of Hell and represents gluttony and envy. In Christian theology, Beelzebub is another name for Satan. Abilities: Beelzebub has many abilities, including flight, demon transformation, musical talent, and size manipulation. Beelzebub is considered the third in command of Hell right under Lucifer and Satan, and there's a reason for it. He is also one of the most powerful demons in hell only behind Satan and Lucifer. During the war in heaven, Beelzebub fought against many angels and even though he was physically more powerful than the angels, they were eventually too much for him to handle and he was eventually overwhelmed. In the aftermath of the Apocalypse, Lucifer experienced a profound transformation, thanks to the wise counsel of Quetzalcoatl. The Feathered Serpent's words had a profound impact on Lucifer, leading him to undergo a significant change in his character and principles. However, this newfound moral perspective didn't sit well with Beelzebub, who believed that Lucifer had lost his edge and become too soft due to his conversation with Quetzalcoatl. In response to what they perceived as Lucifer's weakened stance, Beelzebub led a revolt against their former king. This uprising could have easily been quelled by Lucifer's immense power, but his newfound morality and desire to avoid harming his friend made it challenging for him to suppress the rebellion. Ultimately, Beelzebub succeeded in overthrowing Lucifer, driving him out of Hell. Surprisingly, Lucifer's change in character and his reluctance to harm his friend worked in his favor. He was readily accepted back into Heaven, as his transformation and newfound morality aligned with the heavenly principles. In Lucifer's absence, Beelzebub assumed the role of the new ruler of Hell, marking a significant shift in the balance of power between Heaven and Hell.
