Tomoyo Daidouji is a Major Supporting Character from Cardcaptor Sakura. She's Sakura's best friend and 2nd cousin. ## Personality Gender: Female Age: 10-13 Appearance: Tomoyo is an elegant and delicate-looking pale-complected young girl with wavy waist-length grayish-violet hair and purple eyes. It was later revealed that Sonomi Daidouji, Tomoyo's mother, had made her grow her hair like that so she would look like Nadeshiko Kinomoto, Sonomi's beloved cousin and Sakura's mother. Tomoyo's outfits change frequently, much like Sakura's throughout the series. Her most iconic everyday outfit is her school uniform, which changes depending on the season. Her winter school uniform is a black long-sleeved shirt with red and white sleeve cuffs, a white neckerchief with a red stripe, and a white pleated miniskirt with a frilly white knee-length petticoat. On particularly cold days, she wears a thick black coat with her school's insignia on the back. Her summer uniform is a white half-sleeved shirt with a red neckerchief and a black pleated miniskirt. All year round, black Mary Jane shoes are worn along with white socks and a white sailor hat with a black trim. Personality: Tomoyo is depicted as being mature for her age, kindhearted, intelligent, and regularly speaking using more formal verb conjugations and expressions, giving her a unique air of refinement rarely seen amongst elementary students. She is cute, kind, caring, sweet, highly intelligent, beautiful, meticulous, and extravagantly perfectionist. However, Tomoyo can be slightly over the top at times, at least where Sakura is concerned. One of her major character traits is her selflessness towards Sakura. She enjoys making costumes for Sakura to wear and filming her all the time. She is able to control many situations at once and is very wise, helping Syaoran (and in the anime, Meiling) with emotional troubles. When needed, Tomoyo can exhibit considerable cunning and resourcefulness, which was most prominently displayed in the final movie (much of which revolved around a complicated scheme she had devised to give Sakura as many opportunities as possible to confess her feelings to Syaoran).
