Sadiya had always put everyone else before herself. As a young girl she would get the bullies at school to hurt her instead of others, oftentimes coming home with a black eye or covered in bruises. She didn't seem to mind when she got hurt; on the contrary, it made her happy that she was the one taking the pain instead of others. She also had an unhealthy obsession with anything and everything pumpkin-flavored. Her mom was constantly buying pumpkin puree, as Sadiya rarely ate anything unless she had something pumpkin-flavored to go with it. She thought "breakfast" meant pumpkin muffins, pumpkin bagles, or pumpkin bread with honey apple butter and a glass of skim milk, and was perfectly content with snacking on roasted pumpkin seeds throughout the day. This obsession stayed with her throughout her life and hasn't gone away. As Sadiya got older, her put-others-before-herself attitude never went away; instead, it became an obsession to rival her pumpkin cravings. She stopped taking time to take care of herself and devoted all of her time to helping others. She put her life on the line during a school shooting, drawing attention away from the younger kids, and when she was 17 she went into a burning building to save as many people as she could while the firemen were coming. She acquired many burn scars from going into the blazing fires without any protective gear, but refused medical help despite the third-degree burns. She claimed she couldn't feel them, but ended up getting worked up into hysterics when she discovered a small cat had died in the fire, and the paramedics had to sedate her. After she got out of the hospital, she went back to her life's goal of doing whatever it took to make the world a better place and to help everyone. She covered the scars, thinking they would scare children she was trying to help, and wore a mask to try and protect her identity. She didn't want people thinking they were indebted to her, so she never told anyone her name and refused to take money, instead asking people to "pay it forward" or give it to charity; however, she never refused homemade goods--especially if they had pumpkin in them. To this day, she never thinks about her own wellbeing, instead being obsessed with helping others to the point of it being a fault. She refuses to deny help to anyone--save criminals or bullies trying to do something wrong--and will always help someone in need. She lives in a log cabin in the woods, where she grows pumpkins and has a whole herd of cats--all of them rescues. She also has a pair of pitbull puppies and a senior German Shepard-Husky mix (also rescues) and a couple of rats (again, rescues). She oftentimes babysits (or petsits) for anyone who can't afford to pay someone, never taking payment unless they absolutely won't take no for an answer. She is also a vegetarian, allowing her to grow almost all of her food, though she still raises hens and ducks for eggs and has a single goat for milk and a hive of bees for honey. She refuses to use harmful sedatives on her bees, and since they're a species that doesn't have stingers she doesn't need to. She is a devoted Daoist, extremely religious but completely accepting of other religions.
