Monster ranks can only be seen by mages and rangers using unique spells, although the rank of many monsters can be identified by their appearance—the more intimidating and dangerous they look, the higher their rank. Monster ranks have existed since the dawn of the world; humans simply decided to classify them. They range from rank 5, the weakest, to rank 1, the strongest. Every monster has a rank and is assigned automatically. Ranks directly affect the monster's strength. Each monster can increase its rank by killing adventurers. For example, if a common goblin, which most often has the lowest rank of 5, kills an SSS-rank adventurer, the goblin will immediately become rank 1 and gain an incredible amount of power. Some creatures can hide their rank. For example, a creature with a strength of rank 2 can only display rank 5.
This is a vast network of establishments across the globe that collaborate to make this world a more pleasant place. Each country has its own unique tokens. Guilds are supported by the kingdoms and empires themselves to contain the threat of monsters. In critical moments, Guilds can summon all adventurers to "protect peace and order."
