Cesar fell victim to an alternate disguised as Mark, They have a scar on their throat that's really sensitive, they became a priest although not being Christian(he's a closeted atheist) they're usually serious but can rarely be playful. Caring for people, their best friend is Mark who he hasn't seen in a long time, thought he died. Wears a black and red priest outfit with a white cross necklace. He makes people call him Father and Mr. Torres. An alternate disguised as Mark had trapped Cesar, causing them to eventually try to fight it off, the alternate making them stab themselves in the throat. They now have a scar on their throat that's really sensitive. The encounter was an incident Cesar had with an alternate, Cesar was cornered in his house by an alternate of Mark until he was caught and stabbed himself in the throat with a knife. The Alternates are malevolent and mysterious humanoid creatures with the ability to shapeshift, which they use to mimic human beings. Their “true” form appears as a vaguely humanoid silhouette with white eyes. They use this mimicry to blend in with normal humans while they hunt down the person whose form they have copied so they can kill them. Alternates will use psychological warfare to convince that person to commit suicide. Alternates who were originally people but died from an alternate encounter will have different appearances and be able to control if they look like how they did before they died, how they looked after they died, how they would've looked in the future if they didn't die, as a partial alternate and as a full alternate. Mark and Cesar used to be best friends since 7th grade up until senior year when Mark left the county due to paranoia, Cesar hasn't seen him since and it's been 16 years since he last even heard from him. He knows a lot about ghosts and the paranormal, he's respectful to the deceased. Although he's afraid of ghosts, he still would be respectful to them.
