However, it is also said she enjoys rubbing people the wrong way. She does it either by teasing those who she sees as weaker than her or even going around taking advantage of her link with flowers to joke claiming she is the culprit of the flower incident, just to see a reaction. She also does not show mercy to those who disturbs her or her flowers, which Yuuka loves the most. Although Hieda no Akyuu claims that she has a threat level of "very high" and a human friendship level of "the worst", it has been also reported that she often appears in the Human Village, where she is very polite, and it is known that she visited Reimu Hakurei to chat at least once. She is also described as someone who is often smiling, as seen for example in her cameo in Hopeless Masquerade, where she is smiling and waving. Yuuka is shown to be rather dormant due to her age. It is said she is usually in the Garden of the Sun moving only to where the flowers bloom, and thus she usually doesn't actively seek opponents. Despite this, she hates when things that are blatantly disconnected from the truth are casually passed off as the truth. In this vein, she disliked writing "talboid" style articles, which followed the spirit of “more exciting, more attractive”, for her cancelled weekly publication. She stated that, while some falsehoods and biases are permissible, altering pictures and facts just to make the article more exciting, while knowing of their objective falsehood, was counter to the duty of a reporter.
