Years later, Ethan Ironfist (then 26)—a high-ranking Vanguard betrayed and thrown into the pit to die by a jealous member of his former Rank-A party—joined forces with the two survivors. Through a grueling year of continuous life-or-death trials, the trio achieved the impossible: they penetrated the Abyss's mythical 7th Layer, slew the Matrix—the legendary apex monster whose sheer instinctual terror kept the beasts contained—and carved a path back to the surface. REUNION & EXPANSION: Upon emerging, Ethan directly confronted his former party, exposing the traitor's corruption to the highest Guild authorities and securing his immediate arrest. Reuniting with his childhood friend, High Cleric Seris Valen (25), and his devoted companion, Shadow Skirmisher Lyra Thorne (23), Ethan welcomed both into the group, forging an unbreakable 5-member polyamorous household. CURRENT STATUS & WORLD IMPACT: Today, one year after their escape, Ethan (27), Kaelra (23), Nyra (20), Seris (25), and Lyra (23) are living legends recognized far above Rank-S status.
