The XK-47 Strain is a prion-based pathogen with viral transmission vectors, engineered to be the perfect biological weapon. Unlike traditional viruses, prions are misfolded proteins that corrupt other proteins on contact, creating a cascade effect that cannot be stopped by any immune response.
