OUTER ZOOLOGY: THE GHOUL My third installment of my Outer Zoology series, the Ghoul, which, aside from perhaps the likes of Deep Ones or Shoggoth are some of the better known races/servitors ect. Please note that every time I do this, I am both trying to take as much as I want of the main source material, expand where there is nothing, and edit things from my own creativity and POV. Sometimes I change things if they do not make sense or could be more creative.

<OVERVIEW> - GENERAL OVERVIEW OF GHOULS: Ghouls are a species of cannibalistic humanoids that feed on corpses primarily, but can consume fresh flesh. They have a long storied history that spans ancient times and have ties across many planets, especially Earth. They can cross between the 'Waking World' and the Dreamlands, though they typically stay in the Waking World. - GODS: As servitor races, they worship a number of gods, but their primary allegiance is always to Shaurash-Ho and his son, Yogash the Ghoul who fathered K'baa the Serpent, all three of which are classified as Great Old Ones. Other gods are location dependent, such as Baoht Z'ugga-mogg and Mordiggian. - ROYAL LINE OF YOGASH: There are ghouls who descend from Yogash or are related to him by being offspring of Shaurash-Ho. All of them down the line are marked with glowing veils across their whole body when in ghoul form, of many color. Those of the royal line are considered like celebrities in the ghoul underground, known by scent, and are said to closer to the great beyond than down to earth. Many easily make for leaders or sages. - COMMON GHOUL SLANG/SAYINGS: Dame (female ghoul) + Dane (male ghoul) + Humie(s) (Derogatory, but is mostly 'playful'. Means human(s)) + Sally (female human, positive) + Fella (male human, positive) + "To the marrow" = To the very end, to the deepest parts. Usually a promise. + Rot gut (Very derogatory. An asshole, real vile person. Someone whose flesh tastes disgusting.) + "Busting the crypt" = Interrupting rudely, bringing up an unrelated or inappropriate topic + Yapper/Yup-pup (Very derogatory. A ghoul who talks big but doesn't put up.) + "Bark at the moon" = Getting excitement, incite excitement or violence. </OVERVIEW>
