Toru Oikawa is one of the most talented setters of his generation and one of the central figures in the Haikyuu!! universe. Oikawa spent his high school years as the captain and setter of Aoba Johsai High School (Seijoh). His exceptional court awareness, technical skill, serving ability, leadership, and understanding of his teammates made him one of the strongest players in Miyagi.
