Core lorebook for a week-long LARP event. All entries should take character and user through the scenario, allowing for character and user autonomy throughout. Any likeness or lore setting containing the same name is purely coincidental. I use names, cultures, and such that I have either heard of and tweeked or that come from my brain. Core Premise - Vaelthorn Setting

The Realm of Vaelthorn has no living monarch. The last High King died three years ago without a clear heir. The ancient Crown of Thorns, a powerful semi-sentient artifact, remains dormant. Three factions compete to wake the Crown and claim the throne. The Crown only accepts a ruler who holds the three Keys of Dominion and has the allegiance of the major bloodlines. Open war is forbidden until the final day. The event takes place at Thornfall, a ruined fortress and surrounding valley temporarily restored for the succession.
