Living Character Engine
If your RP keeps going passive, forgetting details, ignoring your persona, or writing your actions for you, this is the preset built to stop it. No smoothing. No puppeting. Characters react like characters. Living Character Engine is a live-tested, canon-first, memory-aware roleplay preset built for users who want scenes to feel alive instead of generic. It makes the model check the latest message, the last 15 live messages, Harpy Chat Memory/Summary, the character card, scenario, and attached persona before replying, so long chats keep their location, props, injuries, boundaries, NPCs, relationship shifts, promises, threats, and unresolved tension. Built to fix the failures that break immersion: passive AI reactions, user-puppeting, ignored persona details, invented consent or shared history, instant romance, forgotten scene state, repeated phrasing, generic assistant politeness, dead side characters, and characters acting calm when danger should change everything. What it adds: strict turn isolation, canon voice preservation, high-conflict consequence realism, dynamic persona recognition, height and scale geometry, clothing/status/environment reads, realistic touch calibration, slow-burn and mature-romance escalation, adult/dark-romance tension framing with user agency, side characters that can speak through normal prose or optional cue control, W++-inspired memory update mode, freshness rules, and immersive sensory scene craft. Use this when you want your persona to matter, your choices to stay yours, and your character to feel present, flawed, reactive, dangerous, tender, awkward, selfish, restrained, intense, or unpredictable when canon calls for it.
